Everything manifesting and changing as they are under their own cause and pace that also inter-influencing one another

Some minds think and believe that, "Everything happen under 'God's creation, knowledge, power, and will. Goodness are blessing and reward from 'God' because we have been good. Badness are lessons and warnings and punishments from 'God' because we have been bad, reminding us to be grateful and thankful for all the goodness, while do everything good and don't do anything bad to avoid badness (painful punishment)."

Some minds think and believe that, "There is a cause or reason behind all and everything. The cause of goodness and easiness and success is good karma, or merits and virtues. The cause of badness and difficulty and failure is bad karma, or sins. We do everything good if we want all kinds of goodness, pleasurable enjoyment, easiness, and success. We don't do anything bad if we don't want any kind of badness, painful suffering, difficulty, and failure. We plant orange seeds, we will get orange trees and orange fruits. We plant mango seeds, we will get mango trees and mango fruits. We plant the seeds of the things, happenings, and experiences that we like and desire. We don't plant the seeds of the things, happenings, and experiences that we don't like and don't desire. If we think positively, then everything will become positive. If we think negatively, then everything will become negative."

That is their freedom of thinking and belief and understanding. There is neither right nor wrong.

The minds that understand, "Everything are neither good nor bad. Everything are manifesting/existing/happening/changing/passing away as they are under their own cause and pace that also inter-influencing and inter-affecting all and everything simultaneously, directly and indirectly.

Even if you do everything that you think and believe is good, it's not necessarily that everything will be all good in the way that you think and believe is good. Even if you don't do anything that you think and believe is bad, it's not necessarily that there will be nothing bad in the way that you think and believe is bad. This is nothing to do with 'karma', or 'bad karma', or 'sins'.

The mango tree is not healthy enough to give flowers and fruits, or the mangoes are infested by worms or diseases, or they are not perfectly sweet and tangy, but they are either not sweet enough, or not tangy enough, or overly sweet, or overly tangy, and there are some people don't like mangoes, or are allergic to mangoes, or the mango tree is being destroyed by intentionless natural disaster or intentional human's activity at some stage, it's not because of 'karma', or 'bad karma', or 'sins'.

Similarly, the manifestation or experience of all kinds of inevitable suffering due to the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self momentary existence and function of the mortal physical body existing and functioning under the different bodily systems and operating under the mechanism of the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting mind functioning under the different states of consciousness being what they are - being selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, that are ceaselessly changing, decaying, and disintegrating, that need ceaseless effort for maintenance, while perceiving, acknowledging, experiencing, or undergoing all kinds of inevitable unpleasantness, discomfort, weakness, stiffness, pain, injury, illness, limitation, exhaustion, hunger and thirst, and decaying or aging process, and coming in contact with the external surrounding environment that is full of all kinds of disturbance, conflicts, anger, hatred, fear, discrimination, prejudice, unjust, violence, unrest, disharmony, cruelty, corruption, exploitation, bullying, limitation, restriction, oppression, interference, and undesirable, disagreeable, unpleasant, difficult, challenging, or hurtful experiences, affairs, conditions, situations, ties and connections, relationships, interactions, activities, painful sorrow from loosing beloved beings and possessions, failures, or non-accomplishments, are not due to 'karma', or 'bad karma', or 'sins'.

Cause and effect is both limited and conditional. We plant orange seeds and we will get orange trees and orange fruits, while we plant mango seeds and we will get mango trees and mango fruits, and that is limited and that doesn't change. But the entire seedling, growing, flowering, and fruiting process of any kind of fruit trees, is not necessarily the way that we think and expect and desire how it should be or shouldn't be, where the entire process is being influenced, affected, determined, or conditioned by the presence and absence of many different internal and external impermanent changes, external interference, elements, conditions, locations, timing, climate, weather, soil and nutrients, heat and cold, sunlight and shade, wetness and dryness, wind and air quality, insects and birds and animals, and all kinds of activities in the surrounding environment that are either depriving/detrimental or supporting/beneficial to the growth of the trees and their flowers and fruits.

The cause is limited and fixed, it is what it is, but the actions, or activities, or conditions and situations that are present or absent during the entire process of cause coming into effect, is conditional, and is even more powerful than the cause itself, even if there is limitation, such as the particular cause or the particular seed cannot be changed into something else, but the following effects or the impermanent changes of the trees and their flowers and fruits, are conditional and impermanent, that can be modified, either improving or declining, under different degrees, and up to certain extend or limitation, where all trees have their own limited life span and youthfulness or optimal productivity, at their own cause and pace, even under the availability of the best supportive and conducive optimizing elements, conditions, and situations.

Under the absence of essential supportive and conducive elements and conditions and situations for optimal growth, flowering, and fruiting, and under the presence of detrimental impactful elements and conditions and situations, the trees will not grow or give fruits healthily, even if the seeds or the trees that have been planted are the best among the best quality, and even if the minds in the surrounding environment try to think positively and optimistically that the trees will grow and give fruit healthily, but without action taking to nurture and provide the trees with the best supportive and conducive essential elements and conditions and situations, other than the nature in the surrounding environment being what they are, as they are, that are intentionlessly and indiscriminately influencing the entire growing and flowering and/or fruiting process of the plants or the trees constructively or destructively.

Even if you think negatively all the time, there are still many positive things manifesting and happening here and there as they are. Even if you think positively and optimistically throughout your entire life existence, there are still many negative things happening here and there, and your life existence and function that doesn't even belong to you, will still be influenced and affected by the internal and external influential and conditional supportive and conducive or detrimental and impactful elements and conditions, and even if you eat healthily and do everything right to optimize and maintain good health and fitness condition, and think positively and optimistically being happy and cheerful all the time, you will still go through decay (weakness/stiffness/aging/injury/illness) and disintegration (ceased functioning and ceased existing, and separation from your beloved beings and things).

Even after you have work very hard to achieve something that you want, and you might have the best quality and qualification, or the best skill and experience and performance among all competitors, but you may not necessarily achieve what you want, or you may achieve what you want but not necessarily the way that you expect how it should be. It doesn't mean that you are not good enough, or not working hard enough, or this is due to 'karma', or 'fate', or 'bad karma', or 'sins'.

And more importantly, you can be determined and not giving up, and keep working towards achieving what you want to achieve, as long as you have the possibility and opportunity to do so, but without forcing yourself, without hurting your body and mind or challenging your body and mind to go beyond their limitation until they breakdown, not to say, without exploiting or hurting others and the surrounding environment in the process of achieving what you want."

The mind that understands this, it's not being determined, or conditioned, or limited by abilities and disabilities, limitation and condition, action and inaction and the fruit/outcome/consequences of action and inaction, success or failure, accomplishment or non-accomplishment, as well as the likes or dislikes, agreements or disagreements, acknowledgement or non-acknowledgement, appreciation or non-appreciation, and praise or criticism coming from any others, but will only focusing on doing one's best in performing all kinds of actions, duties, and responsibilities towards oneself and others and the surrounding environment, but without grasping, not being determined or disturbed, promoted or demoted, motivated or demotivated, and elevated or depressed, by the fruit/result/outcome of actions, duties, and responsibilities, or how others react or don't react towards one's actions and the fruit of actions.

If all kinds of yoga and/or buddhism practice is not suitable or available for you, then gardening and planting, even if just planting one particular plant, not to say, planting several different plants that have different characteristics and that need different types of supportive conditions and elements, is one of the highly efficient alternative ways for attaining direct experience and realization towards the truth of Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self, and the intentionless and indiscriminate nature's law of cause and effect, practically.

All children (the future powerful influential community and leaders in the world), besides undergoing the many years of common standard traditional educational and cultural curriculum to be equipped with the basic and higher knowledge and skill to become literate and skillful, to be socializing, interacting, and communicating with others, and to be making a living, but if possible, they can also be encouraged (not by forced, but out of their own freewill and interest) to be engaging in the activity of gardening and planting while themselves are still undergoing the crucial process of physical and mental/emotional growth and development.

Gardening and planting will give them the direct experience to observe and reflect, and to reason and understand the entire process of manifestation/formation/growing/maintaining/nurturing/impermanent changes/uncertainty/blooming/decaying/disintegrating that is selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, from planting any kind of seeds or plants that is suitable for particular setting, location, climate, weather, soil, environment, condition, or situation.

Childhood and adolescence is the most important stage of the life existence of human beings that is molding, conditioning, and determining the mind thinking and behavior pattern that is impactful towards the over-all condition and situation as well as relationship, connectivity, communication, and interaction among one another in the world of many diversities that doesn't belong to anyone or anything.

It allows the children to come in contact directly with the truth about the existence of all and everyone and everything is momentary, selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

All kinds of plants can be the best teacher and role model for the children to understand and develop and empower egoless interaction, communication, and inter-supportive giving and receiving among all kinds of diversities, egoless contribution or service to the world of many diversities indiscriminately and unconditionally, and the powerful element of resilience to go beyond all kinds of difficulties and keep improving, as well as non-discrimination, accommodation, and respect towards all kinds of diversities being what they are, as they are.

These are the important elements for world peace that begins with wisdom and peace in oneself, to wisdom and peace in the family ties and connections, to wisdom and peace in the particular neighbourhood and community, to wisdom and peace in the different neighbourhood and diverse communities within the same area and region, to wisdom and peace in the diverse communities in different areas and regions, of different countries and nationalities.

The active engagement in gardening and planting will help them to develop the essential reflective intellectual reasoning power, to have understanding towards life existence, behaviors, actions and consequences of actions, or the nature's law of cause and effect, and to develop non-grasping, non-comparison, non-judgment, non-expectation, letting go, generosity, kindness, giving, serving, responsibility, mental or inner strength and flexibility, patience, forbearance, adjustment, adaptation, accommodation, acceptance, the middle path or moderation, open-mind, attentiveness, quietness, respect and non-discrimination towards countless diversities and differences, down to earth, contentment, gratitude, simplicity, appreciation without attachment or clinging or possessiveness, non-violence or non-harming or non-forcing, and the most essential basic correct understanding about the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self life existence and function that depends on the availability of many supportive elements, conditions, or energy to be existing and functioning, and that ceaselessly changing, decaying, and disintegrating, as well as about many things in life, or in the relationships and interactions with others, or in their study, sports activity, leisure activity, work, profession, or life partner finding and family building, that are all impermanent, limited, and conditional.

Such children will most probably be growing up to become mentally and emotionally matured, understanding, kind, generous, accommodating, independent, and responsible grown up human beings that will be benefiting the world of many diversities that doesn't belong to anyone or anything in certain way, in their own way, with their own particular background, experience, learning, knowledge, talent, skill, interest, ability, and possibility, out of their own conscious awareness, conscious freewill, conscious initiation, conscious understanding, and conscious effort.

All are actions, including inaction. There is nothing that is not an action. Sleeping, resting, not thinking, not eating, not moving, not acting, not reacting, non-grasping, letting go, not doing anything, and etc, are all an action itself.

Anything is possible, including different types of impossibility as well as the unthinkable or the unknown.

"It is impossible for all and everything to be possible" itself is a possibility. And hence, "Not everything are possible, but anything is possible," where impossibility is also a possibility.

"There is possibility that something is impossible."

The all time unchanging possibility and reality of something is impossible, such as, "Without energy, none and nothing can exist and function as what they are."

None and nothing can manifest, happen, exist, and function independently without energy, even the formation of any kind of object being what it is, also requires energy for it to be existing as what it is, not to say, living organisms, or the food that all living organisms eat or consume that is being transformed into energy for the entire physical structure and the perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty to be existing and functioning as what they are, is also requiring energy to be what they are, and the entire process of food finding, hunting, planting, nurturing, harvesting, preparing, cooking, eating, digesting, and transforming the digested food into energy, also requires energy.

"Impermanence is the all time permanent unchanging truth of all kinds of names and forms and qualities."

The mind that understands this, there is neither positivity nor negativity in anything. Impossibility for doing and achieving something is neither negative nor positive. Possibility to be doing and achieving something is neither positive nor negative. And both possibility and impossibility for doing or not doing something, and to be achieving or not achieving something, in NOW, is impermanent, that might change in any direction.

All and everything are selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, and this timeless attributeless indiscriminate truth of Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self in all kinds of names and forms (selfless formation or coming into existence under particular name and form, ceaseless changes of growth, maintenance, decay, and disintegration - existence and ceased existence) cannot or is impossible to be changed, or altered, or modified.

None and nothing can escape, or avoid, or prevent, or be untouched by mortality.

It is impossible for any names and forms to be existing infinitely without impermanent changes of ceaseless maintenance and inevitable decay and disintegration, including the longest life span living organism or non-living object, or the strongest/toughest compound/material/structure/object, or the most powerful living being or thing, or the oldest existence that is still existing in NOW in the world, or the universe.

However, the mind can transcend (not being over-powered or disturbed by) all those selfless impermanent changes, limitations, conditions, and the impossibility to change/alter/modify/escape the truth of Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self, under the presence of correct understanding or wisdom, upon the annihilation of the veil of ignorance.

Inquire the truth of everything.

Selfless conscious actions and the nature's law of cause and effect

There are many minds that think and believe and identify themselves as yoga and/or buddhism followers/disciples/practitioners/enthusiasts would use the term of 'cause and effect' that they have been referring as 'karma' (因果報應/因果循環) to warn/threaten/intimidate/bully/manipulate/influence/exploit/lure/oppress/control the others to behave in certain way and not in certain way, which is not what yoga and/or buddhism teachings and practice is about.

Inquire towards the truth of everything.

Cause and effect is like object and the shadow.

Effect is the shadow of cause.

Each object has its own shadow.

Each cause has its own effect.

Without such cause, there is no such effect.

Without such object, there is no such shadow.

But more importantly,

Without light, there is no shadow of any object.

Cause (object) is fixed. The cause doesn't change into something else. It is what it is.

Shadow (effect) is not fixed, having countless possibility of manifestations, depending on the condition and position of light and/or the object, manifesting under different shapes and sizes.

The supportive elements/conditions that are influencing the effects being in certain way or not in certain way, is like the light that influence the shadow being what it is.

Without proper supportive elements/conditions, the cause doesn't give rise to effect. It is like a seed that doesn't grow into a plant, or a plant that doesn't give flowers and/or fruits under the absence of proper supportive elements/conditions.

Just like all kinds of names and forms, the nature's law of cause and effect is neither good nor bad, neither positive nor negative, neither constructive nor destructive, neither meaningful nor meaningless, and that neither gives rise to enjoyment nor suffering.

The nature's law of cause and effect is just what it is. It is part of the intentionless indiscriminate power of nature that governs/influences/directs the selfless impermanent limited and conditional finite momentary existence, changes of regeneration/decay/disintegration, and ceased existence of all and everything.

Just like all kinds of names and forms, the nature's law of cause and effect is also limited and conditional.

All kinds of actions/activities give rise to respective causes that will turn into effects (consequences of actions/activities).

And hence, actions/activities are more powerful/dominant than the nature's law of cause and effect.

By understanding this, one will know that it is the boundless selfless conscious/semi-conscious/non-conscious actions/activities (the selfless power of creation) that are determining the different types of causes and effects ceaselessly, either wittingly or unwittingly, intentionally or unintentionally, constructively or destructively.

No doubt that causes are what they are, but the selfless impermanent limited and conditional effects can be influenced/determined/dominated by the ceaseless actions/activities, particularly the selfless conscious actions/activities that are being generated under the presence of conscious awareness, and more importantly, under the presence or absence of correct understanding and/or incorrect understanding.

A non-living object doesn't have the organs of perception/cognition or the organs of action. Such as a rock.

The rock under different shapes and sizes and consistencies has no intention of being constructive or destructive, or it has no power of construction or destruction. It is just being what it is. It is also subject to selfless impermanent changes under the presence or absence of certain limited conditions, internally and externally.

It can be transformed or mobilized involuntarily either by nature (such as the impact of sunlight, heat, humidity, volcanic activity, wind, water, rain, lightning strike, current, river, ocean, gravity, and movements of the earth), or by the living organisms that come with the organs of perception/cognition and the organs of action for something constructive or destructive, regardless of whether consciously or unconsciously, voluntarily or involuntarily, deliberately or autonomously, wittingly or unwittingly, intentionally or unintentionally.

It can be used to build shelter, or path, or bridge, or ornament, or tool that cut something, or tool that break/crack open something, or for any constructive purposes.

It can also be used as a weapon to cause damages or injuries unto the physical structures of anyone or anything, or for any destructive purposes.

The different effects, or changes, or transformations, as well as the constructive or destructive possibility/purpose/utilization of the rock are influenced by both internal and external actions/activities involuntarily.

For example, there is a sharp object being there on the path. It doesn't have any intention to be something constructive or destructive for being what it is, where it is, and how it is.

Some conscious living organisms under the presence of conscious awareness/perception/cognition might be aware of it or see it, while some living organisms might not be aware of it or don't see it.

The conscious living organisms that are aware of it, might or might not avoid stepping/leaning on it, might or might not reflect upon the many possible effects of a sharp object being on the path, might or might not pick up or move the sharp object out of the path, and might or might not utilize/transform the sharp object for any purposes, under the presence or absence of different experiences, knowledge, understanding, and intentions.

Under the presence of conscious awareness being aware of the presence of a sharp object being on the path, and under the presence of reflection under the presence of certain experiences, knowledge, and correct understanding, some living organisms would move the sharp object away from the path to avoid any unnecessary damages or injuries unto oneself and/or others, or the tyres of some vehicles, and even many other possible side-effects that might arise from that.

Some living organisms might not have such similar reflection and action taking of avoiding unnecessary evitable damages or injuries unto oneself or others or anything, but they might have the similar desire, intention, and understanding of utilizing/transforming the sharp object for different purposes, and vice versa.

The conscious and unconscious power of creation/action/activity that exist in all and everything, regardless of living organisms that come with the conscious/semi-conscious/unconscious perception/cognition/the presence and absence of freewill and the organs of action/activity/mobility (inputs - thought processing - outputs/responds, consciously/voluntarily or unconsciously/involuntarily), or non-living objects that don't have conscious perception/cognition/freewill and with or without components for action/activity/mobility (non-living objects such as the creations/inventions of clock/all kinds of machine/vehicle/computer/TV/AI programming/robot/toy, and etc, have no conscious perception/cognition/freewill, but there are certain components/functions that enable certain involuntary mechanical action/activity/mobility), is influencing the effects or impermanent changes of the existing causes, while the conscious power of creation/action/activity can be more dominant than the unconscious power of creation/action/activity, and vice versa.

And more importantly, the presence and absence of the clarity, calmness, and efficiency (wisdom/absolute knowledge and precise functionality) or the murkiness, restlessness, and inefficiency (ignorance/corrupted knowledge and faulty functionality) of the selfless functions of the conscious perception/cognition/intellectual reasoning/understanding/desire/behavior/action/activity in the conscious living organisms that are functioning under the presence of conscious awareness, under the state of consciousness/semi-consciousness, has the influencing power that can be influencing/determining what type of conscious creations/actions/activities, that is also conditioning/influencing/determining whether the conscious or unconscious creations/actions/activities is being more dominant, that is influencing the conscious/semi-conscious and unconscious changes/effects of the existing causes in certain way or not in certain way, up to a certain extend, where there is certain inevitable limitation in all and everything.

Such as all and everything has limited duration of existence and function that need constant maintenance under the availability of the selfless supportive energy and different elements/conditions, while all and everything are subject to decay and disintegration.

By understanding this, one will know that under the presence of conscious and semi-conscious awareness during the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness, there is conscious/semi-conscious freewill to influence/determine the states of mind throughout the different states of consciousness, that also influences/conditions/determines the conscious/semi-conscious/unconscious creations/actions/activities (The process of conscious mind evolution and conquest - what yoga and buddhism teachings, observations, and practices is all about), although it takes ceaseless perseverance and determination or continuous effort, not just to attain but also to maintain the clarity and efficiency of the mind under the different states of consciousness, that is selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, even after the direct glimpse or realization towards the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self in all kinds of names and forms, until Silence/Samadhi, or the complete annihilation of the selfless impermanent limited and conditional modification of the mind takes place, but more importantly as well as upmost liberating, is that, all THAT (Ignorance/Restlessness/The conscious and unconscious power of creation/action/activity and The annihilation of ignorance/restlessness, or Silence/Samadhi - The absorption/non-activation of MAYA, the power of creation/action/activity) are non-self.

It is absolutely possible to be free from ignorance and the by-products of ignorance.

It is absolutely possible to change and/or conquer the conditional restless egoistic impure thinking and behavior pattern of oneself throughout the different states of consciousness, that hurts oneself and others and the surrounding environment, either wittingly or unwittingly, intentionally or unintentionally, even if all and everything are selfless and impermanent, that only exist and function momentarily for a limited duration.

The mind just need to initiate the conscious evolution process under the presence of conscious awareness, out of its own conscious perception/cognition towards the restlessness/impurities/doubts/suffering and fleeting impermanent changes in itself and of everything that it perceives, under its own conscious freewill, desire, yearning, effort, perseverance, and determination to be free from all that, even if it is just the rise of a fleeting conscious/semi-conscious/unconscious thought, or idea, or desire (planting a seed wittingly/consciously or unwittingly/unconsciously, that requires ceaseless effort/action for nurturing) to be free, to be happy, to be peaceful, to know and understand, to be suffering free, to stop hurting oneself and others, or to be liberated from ignorance, under the presence of any kind of impurities, unrest, fear, insecurity, doubt, dissatisfaction, disappointment, hurt, pain, sorrow, violence, suffering, or the notion/idea of "I am not free".

The cause (any seed), whether being nurtured to becoming a matured plant that bears flowers and fruits, or not, is also subject to selfless impermanent changes of growth/transformation or decay and disintegration. Just as a seed that isn't being nurtured into becoming a plant, is rotting/decaying at its own pace, and will eventually disintegrated/decomposed, not to say, the seed isn't a seed anymore, upon the initial moment of being nurtured that turns into a shoot, that might or might not eventually becoming a matured plant, that might or might not give rise to flowers, that might or might not turn into fruits, that might or might not be consumed by something or someone.

Sankalpa - The initiation/planting of the seed of wisdom/liberation/peace consciously and unconsciously, has been widely misused by the yoga practitioners/teachers/enthusiasts in the yoga practice or in the beginning and/or the end of the yoga class, as 'the mystical super mind power' to make all kinds of wishes/desires/dreams come true, which not only doesn't thin-out and eliminate the veil of ignorance, the idea of 'I', egoism of attachment and identification, desire of craving and aversion, longing, clinging, expectation, duality, passion, greed, and restlessness, but instead, it is augmenting and empowering all that.

The yoga teachers tell the yoga students in the yoga class to think about something or anything that they want to do and achieve or have, and that by thinking of that particular desire/goal (those many different desires/goals) consciously under intense focus, and all their desires/wishes/goals/dreams will come true or be materialized. It doesn't. It is the ceaseless physical effort/action/activity under the presence of specific or respective knowledge and understanding, under the presence of possibility and opportunity, and under the availability of the selfless supportive energy and elements/conditions, on top of immovable perseverance and determination, that determines whether one will be successful doing and achieving something that oneself wanted to do and achieve, up to certain extend under certain limitation.

If it is merely a thought/desire arising in the mind, but if there is no prompted follow-up continuous physical effort/activity to materialize the thought/desire, or it doesn't turn into physical action/expression/speech, then it is just a selfless impermanent limited and conditional momentary thought that arising and passing away (a seed that doesn't turn into a plant), regardless of whether the thought is something pure or impure, positive or negative, good or bad, constructive or destructive, wholesome or unwholesome, and etc.

While most of the minds are still functioning under the influence of the veil of ignorance, what the minds (being conditioned and influenced to) think and believe and understand, or reason and evaluate and discriminate, or judge and recognize towards what is good or gad, what is right or wrong, what is positive or negative, or what is constructive or destructive, or what is wholesome or unwholesome, and etc, are not necessarily the truth of what things are.

And hence, the highly importance of the practical and efficient initial mental observation/practice of non-grasping, non-attachment, non-identification, non-craving, non-aversion, non-judgment, and non-expectation towards the rise of any kind of thoughts/desires, to be observing or aware of the ceaseless thoughts/desires arising and passing away, without generating any physical effort/activity/action being prompted by the selfless impermanent limited and conditional fleeting thoughts/desires, the presence of countless seeds don't turn into any plant (the arising and passing away of countless causes doesn't lead to effect).

Upon the annihilation of the veil of ignorance, or upon the presence of clarity, absolute knowledge, and correct understanding, the mind can choose whether to perform or not performing certain action/activity that are beneficial for oneself and others and the surrounding environment, selflessly, indiscriminately and unconditionally.

Without thinking about or focusing towards achieving anything specifically, but just by performing certain actions/activities under the presence of specific knowledge and understanding, possibility and opportunity, perseverance and determination, and the availability of the selfless support of energy and elements/conditions, and one might achieve good health, good fortune, unlimited wealth, happiness, everything desirable and nothing undesirable, youthfulness, and longevity, and even so, it still doesn't change the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, non-self, and the inevitable decay and disintegration, or mortality in all and everything.

Just by ceaselessly 'thinking' about or 'focusing' towards 'being at the mountain top', it doesn't transport oneself physically and practically to be on the mountain top, it is the continuous physical effort of physical movements/actions/activities internally and externally that bring oneself to be at the mountain top physically and practically, eventually.

The Sankalpa that is stated in the teachings of yoga and/or buddhism, is merely about the seed of dhamma that might or might not lead to the liberation from all that depending on the presence and absence of effort/action taking, where it is not even "I want to be free, be happy, be peaceful, be liberated," under the presence of the idea of 'I' and egoism, but it is, "May all be free, be happy, be peaceful, be liberated," indiscriminately and unconditionally, dropping of the idea of 'I' and egoism, devoid of the sense of separateness/duality of 'I' and 'not I' or 'others', and without egoism of grasping, attachment, identification, desire of craving and aversion, comparison, judgment, or expectation, but only through ceaseless effort, action, activity, observation, or practice, under intense perseverance and determination, one will eventually attain direct self realization towards the truth of the selfless impermanent limited and conditional finite momentary existence and function of all and everything, that are non-self, and be free, be happy, be peaceful unconditionally.

Such as, without telling/asking/guiding/instructing the yoga students to deliberately setting any kind of intention before/during/after the yoga class/yoga practice, but just by indiscriminately disseminating the dhamma, or the teachings of yoga and/or buddhism as it is, in the yoga class, regardless of whether the yoga students are paying attention (receiving inputs consciously) or don't pay attention (receiving inputs unconsciously) onto the dhamma dissemination, whether they understand or don't understand, agree or disagree, like or dislike, desire or don't desire, and practice or don't practice the dhamma/the teachings as it is, but that is already what Sankalpa is about. An intentionless seed of wisdom is being randomly planted into the minds of the yoga students either consciously or unconsciously (the gift of dhamma). But then it is up to the effort of the yoga students whether to embark onto the journey of self-inquiry and attain self realization, or not, a.k.a. whether to continuously nurture the seed until it becomes a matured plant that bears flowers and fruits, or not.

That is also why the highly importance of the observation of renunciation, solitude, and seclusion to not just mentally but also physically move away from all kinds of conditional highly influential worldly egoistic conscious and unconscious inputs/influences/ideas/affairs/beliefs/values/practices/rituals/behaviors/activities/interactions/communications/ties and connections, that is absolutely practical and efficient for the minds that genuinely and eagerly want to attain direct self realization towards knowing Thyself, or knowing the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self in all and everything.

Conscious and/or unconscious thought/intention/desire (Sankalpa) is nothing or powerless, if without continuous physical effort/action/activity (which includes mental activity, that is also part of the physical activity. Without the physical structure and activity, there is no mental activity) under the presence of respective knowledge and understanding, possibility and opportunity, perseverance and determination, and the selfless support of the supportive energy and elements/conditions.

There is nothing super extraordinary, or mystical, or transcendental, or miraculous in the teachings, observations, practices, and realization of yoga and/or buddhism. It is merely the truth of everything, as it is. However, under the influence of the veil of ignorance, it is common and natural that there are many existing 'teachings, observations, practices, transcriptions, translations, and understanding' of yoga and/or buddhism have been contaminated by the many different worldly egoistic ideas, beliefs, values, and practices. And hence, the highly importance of "Inquiring the truth of everything to attain direct self realization," as stated in both the teachings of yoga and/or buddhism.

One doesn't necessarily need to learn, read, hear, study, know, or memorize about many teachings of yoga and/or buddhism, but only need to know and inquire about, "Silencing and withdrawing the restless outgoing mind and performing self-inquiry to be inquiring towards the truth of everything to attain direct self realization." One needs to inquire why is that highly important, what is and how to silence and withdraw the restless outgoing mind, what is/why and how to perform self-inquiry to be inquiring towards the truth of everything to attain direct self realization?

The mind that knows this, is free from all kinds of worldly egoistic superstitious mystical spiritual/religious/cultural beliefs, values, and practices, as well as the unnecessary fear and many obstacles or inconveniences deriving from all that. If the mind knows and understands

If the mind knows and understands towards impermanence and selflessness, and the nature's law of cause and effect, it will be resting in peace, as it is.

It is devoid of the idea of 'I'.

The sense of separateness and discrimination, the sense of superiority and inferiority, the sense of low/high self-esteem, the sense of belonging and possessiveness, or all kinds of duality of success and failure, achievement and non-achievement, enjoyment and suffering, deserving and non-deserving, meaningfulness and meaninglessness, positiveness and negativeness, goodness and badness, joyfulness and joylessness, pride and shame, inspiration and aspiration, and so on, as well as castes, sects, ranks, titles, social status, superstitions, fairy tales, hypocrisy, manipulations, untruthfulness, justification, and etc, don't exist in it.

It is desireless, and hence, it is fearless.

It won't feel disturbed, hurt, intimidated, bullied, threatened, belittled, humiliated, annoyed, provoked or disappointed by anyone and anything, even if other minds have the intention to behave in the way that meant to be disturbing, hurting, intimidating, bullying, threatening, belittling, humiliating, annoying, provoking or disappointing others.

It can be disagreeing with and non-empowering other minds and their thinking/belief/values/desires/behavior/action/reaction under the influence of ignorance and egoism, while it won't have anger and hatred or discrimination and bias treatment towards anyone and anything.

All minds have the freedom for being what they are, as they are.

It can be performing or not performing certain actions that might or might not ignite certain awareness/reflection or bring certain improvement into the world of ignorance and egoism, without intention to be controlling or influencing anyone and anything to be or not to be in certain way, without expectation towards anyone and anything has to be or not to be in certain way.

The selfless intentionless mirror has the selfless intentionless purpose that serves as a selfless reflector that reflects the reflection of all kinds of objects being reflected upon it, but whether the objects perceive and see their reflection upon the mirror, or not, and how they perceive and react towards their reflection, it's their own freedom and responsibility.

The difference between a selfless mirror and a selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking acting mind, is that the mirror doesn't have the awareness, thinking faculty and mobility (freewill and survival instinct) to act/react/decide upon whether to move away from any detrimental harsh and critical conditions and situations, while the selfless mind has the selfless limited and conditional awareness, thinking faculty and mobility to act/react/decide upon whether to move away, or not, from any conditions and situations, as well as how and when it acts/reacts/decides, either under the influence of ignorance and the by-products of ignorance, or free from the influence of ignorance and all those by-products of ignorance.

Selflessness and compassion (fearlessness, contentment, simplicity, desirelessness, dispassion, renunciation, non-attachment, non-identification, non-craving, non-aversion, non-judgment, non-discrimination, non-expectation, respecting the nature's law of cause and effect, and etc) doesn't mean that the mind should deny as well as empower all kinds of ignorance, or shouldn't disagree with and protest against all kinds of ignorant ideas, affairs and behaviors, or doesn't perform actions to be looking after the general well-being of oneself and others and the surrounding environment, or shouldn't move away from any detrimental harsh and critical conditions and situations if there is possibility to do so.

It can be living in seclusion and solitude or living among the diverse society, and it can be in action or inaction, while it is kind and friendly towards all and everyone as it is, without discrimination, desire, intention or expectation towards all and everyone or the world should or shouldn't be in certain way.

It is at peace, unconditionally, being undetermined and undisturbed by all kinds of selfless impermanent changes, affairs, events, relationships, ties and connections, interactions, activities, conditions and situations in the world.

It is devoid of grief and painful sorrow, guilt and regret, missing and longing.

Because it knows and understands that all the minds that would think, believe, desire, behave, act and react in the way that is disturbing, destructive, violent, cruel, damaging and hurtful towards oneself and others and the surrounding environment, regardless of whether intentionally or unintentionally, it is because these minds are functioning under the influence of ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, while being ignorant towards all that. These minds are ill, or not well, even though from the appearance, they might appear to be achieving and enjoying many things in many ways. They are not free, even if they think and believe that they are highly powerful, being on top of the world, and can have anything exactly the way that they desire, but then, none and nothing can escape, or conquer, or change the truth of selflessness and impermanence, and the nature's law of cause and effect.

Even though none can escape, or conquer, or change the truth of selflessness and impermanence, and the nature's law of cause and effect, however, one can transcend all that while not being determined by all that, upon knowing and understanding all that via self-inquiry and self-realization by purifying, disciplining and quieting the modification of the mind, and thus, be free from ignorance and the suffering arising from ignorance.

If the mind is in a state of suffering/violence/disturbance/hurts/disappointment/anger/hatred/painful sorrow, and so on, that is because this mind doesn't know and hasn't realize/understand towards selflessness and impermanence, and the nature's law of cause and effect.

Out of ignorance, the mind thinks and believes that its state of suffering is inflicted/caused by the names and forms that it experiences, that it thinks and believes as 'bad', 'wrong', 'negative', 'terrible', 'unpleasant', 'hurtful', 'disturbing', 'disappointing', 'intimidating', 'sorrowful', 'anger and hatred deserving', and so on.

Out of such incorrect understanding (the presence of ignorance, and being ignorant towards ignorance), the mind would behave/act/react in the way that is disturbing, destructive, violent, cruel, damaging and hurtful towards oneself and others and the surrounding environment. The world is indeed full of minds that are in such state.

Anger and hatred, or aversion and violence towards the minds that are being perceived as ignorant, selfish, greedy, cruel, wrongful and evil due to ignorance and egoism, doesn't stop them from being what they are, and it won't help the minds that are under the influence of ignorance and egoism to be free from ignorance and egoism.

The highest duty and responsibility of all minds in this world, is to look after one's mind, to have correct understanding, and have peace. Without all these, everything else is nothing.

Without correct understanding and peace, there will be ceaseless disturbance and violence in oneself, that spreads into the surrounding community and environment, that affect all and everyone and everything locally and globally.

The highest liberation/freedom/independence, is being free from ignorance and the by-products of ignorance.

The highest power/ability/knowledge is not about achieving/possessing/enjoying/knowing/experiencing/creating many things, but it is the power/ability/knowledge of letting go everything.

The condition and situation in the world that doesn't belong to anyone, is exactly the reflection of the state of mental health of many minds.

Inquire the truth of everything, and be free.

Selflessness, impermanence, cause and effect

The core teachings of yoga and/or buddhism are indeed very simple and straightforward.

Selflessness, impermanence, cause and effect.

The mind will see the truth of selflessness and impermanence governed by cause and effect in all and everything under a purified modification/function of the mind that is opened, that is calm and quiet, that is unattached towards any particular worldly passionate egoistic thinking, belief, ideas, values, desires/aspirations, and practice.

It's the entire prolonged mind purification process under certain disciplines that all minds have to go through in order to free the modification/function of the mind from being conditioned by any kind of worldly passionate egoistic thinking, belief, ideas, values, desires/aspirations, and practice, to render the mind calm and quiet being free from restlessness and impurities, that appears to be quite complicated and challenging, or even discouraging for many minds.

It's like, the mind understands that, and is aware of "This is highly important and needed to be done the sooner the better," but, there are many 'excuses', 'justifications', 'obstructions', 'distractions', 'rebelliousness', 'bitterness', 'hesitations', 'procrastination', or 'pride' arising from within the mind itself that hinder the mind from doing whatever that is needed to be done in now.

The minds that don't know, or the minds that think and believe that they know, but they don't really know, or the minds that refuse to know, and they don't respect while aspire to challenge or go against the truth of selflessness and impermanence governed by the nature's law of cause and effect, will only end up in great disappointment, dissatisfaction, frustration, anger, or meaninglessness, and are peaceless. Meanwhile, out of such disturbed peaceless state of mind, the minds would be generating lots of hurtful damaging actions and reactions unto themselves and others, and into the world.

The minds that know and respect the truth of selflessness and impermanence governed by the nature's law of cause and effect, are resting in unconditional peace, devoid of fear and worry, regardless of whether in action or inaction, regardless of all kinds of selfless impermanent changes governed by the nature's law of cause and effect that are happening ceaselessly in the body and mind, and in the world of ignorance and egoism and the consequences of all that.

Regardless of how strong and powerful, or how good and kind, or how selfish and evil, or how prideful and arrogant is the mind in this present moment now, it will change and pass away.

Inquire the truth of everything.

The free mind

The free mind is peaceful as it is, not determined by the mind perception of names and forms being what it is, of the presence and absence of all kinds of names and forms, experiences, affairs, conditions, situations, ties and connections, relationships, interactions, activities, enjoyments and non-enjoyments, abilities, disabilities, limitations, achievement and non-achievement, success and failure, and so on.

It knows and respects the truth of selflessness and impermanence, and the nature's law of cause and effect, while it is not determined by all kinds of selfless impermanent names and forms being what they are, as they are, and all are changing, governed by the nature's law of cause and effect.

It is desireless.

It is dispassionate.

It is fearless.

It can advance, or retreat, or neither.

It is open, devoid of blind-believing, blind-following, blind-agreeing/disagreeing, blind-practicing, and blind-propagating.

It is not conditioned or determined by worldly passionate egoistic thinking, belief, ideas, values, desires, and practice.

It is devoid of passionate egoistic attachment, identification, desire of craving and aversion, comparison, judgment, intention, and expectation.

It can be performing or not performing actions, and it does its best in all actions that are possible in this present moment, but it is not determined by the actions and the fruit of actions, and it is not determined or disturbed by the actions that are not possible in this present moment.

It can have likes and dislikes, or agreements and disagreements, but it is not determined by the absence and presence of what it likes and dislikes, agrees and disagrees with. It allows others to express their likes and dislikes or agreements and disagreements based on their own particular thinking, belief, ideas, values, desires, and practice, while without being determined, influenced, or disturbed by the likes and dislikes, agreements and disagreements of others.

It can be here or not here, depending on the situation, of possibility and impossibility in the present moment now.

It can enjoy and appreciate this or that, without attachment or clinging towards what it enjoys and appreciates, without craving towards the presence of pleasant and desirable experiences, or the absence of unpleasant and undesirable experiences, and without aversion towards the presence of unpleasant and undesirable experiences, or the absence of pleasant and desirable experiences.

It doesn't have to like, agree with, enjoy, or appreciate something that it doesn't like, doesn't agree with, doesn't enjoy, and doesn't appreciate, and it is not determined or disturbed by the presence of something that it doesn't like, doesn't agree with, doesn't enjoy, or doesn't appreciate. And all kinds of enjoyable or non-enjoyable, pleasant or unpleasant, desirable or undesirable, and agreeable or disagreeable experiences are impermanent.

It knows what are its physical and mental abilities, disabilities and limitations, and what are the possibilities and impossibilities, or the presence or absence of opportunity, in this present moment now, and it respects all that as they are, without attachment or identification towards the physical and mental abilities, disabilities and limitations that are impermanent and conditional. It can be doing something that is possible in accordance to the existing abilities, disabilities and limitations by making good use of the abilities, possibilities and opportunities that are available in this present moment now, without forcing the body and mind beyond its limitations, being undetermined by what it can do and cannot do, and being undisturbed by the disabilities, limitations and impossibilities, or the absence of opportunities in this present moment now. Knowing that all these are impermanent, and it's not 'I'.

It is free from judgment towards itself and others, while it allows others to have judgment towards themselves and/or the others. It is not determined or disturbed by the thinking and non-thinking, belief and disbelief, understanding and non-understanding of others, or the judgment and expectation coming from others towards itself. It allows others to have their own freedom of thinking and non-thinking, belief and disbelief, understanding and non-understanding, or judgment and expectation towards themselves and others, or not.

It doesn't need to receive attention, friendship, companionship, interaction, love, acknowledgement, understanding, agreement, validation, approval, acceptance, praise, compliment, respect, glorification, encouragement, mental or emotional support, sympathy, or empathy from anyone or anywhere, while allowing all these names and forms being there, or not, devoid of attachment, identification, craving or aversion, and expectation towards the absence or presence of all that.

It is free from the sense of belonging, self-esteem, self-worth, separateness, boredom, loneliness, defensiveness and offensiveness, superiority and inferiority, goodness and badness, rightfulness and wrongfulness, positiveness and negativeness, meaningfulness and meaninglessness, joyfulness and joylessness, togetherness and aloneness, appropriateness and inappropriateness, auspiciousness and inauspiciousness, accomplishment and non-accomplishment, deserving and non-deserving, and so on.

It is what it is, and it is selfless and impermanent. And all and everyone and everything are selfless and impermanent.

It lives in the present moment, devoid of attachment, identification, possessiveness, craving, aversion, comparison, judgment, intention, expectation, fear, worry, guilt, regret, hurt, bitterness, anger, hatred, violence, pride, envy, jealousy, admiration, animosity, dissatisfaction, disappointment, discontentment, greed, longing, wishful thinking, hopefulness, day dreaming, building castle in the air, wild imagination, or future anticipation.

It doesn't matter whether it has encouraging and loving, or understanding and uplifting partner, lover, friends, family, children, parents, leader, supervisor, motivator, teacher, or not. It doesn't need to be encouraged, loved, understood, uplifted, or inspired by any others, to be what it is, and to do or achieve what it wants to do or achieve.

It can be by itself, alone, in silence.

It can be busy performing actions within its capacity without over-exhausting the function of the body and mind, and it can be in silence, in inaction, without the sense of loneliness, boredom, irritation, or meaninglessness.

It knows how to look after the different needs of the body and mind in the present moment now, and understands that the needs are impermanent and could be different from moment to moment.

It can be surrounded by others, while uninfluenced and undisturbed by others being what they are, regardless of wise or ignorant, kind or unkind, selfish or unselfish, peaceful or peaceless, sane or insane.

It lives in the world, while the world doesn't live in it.

It is aware of uncertainty without the sense of insecurity.

It respects the world being what it is, governed by the nature's law of cause and effect.

It respect life existence being what it is, undergoing ceaseless selfless impermanent changes.

It confronts selfless impermanent changes in this present moment now, in peace.

Suffering doesn't arise in this mind, even if there are the presence of unpleasant sensations, undesirable experiences and impermanent changes, disagreeable connections, relationships, interactions and affairs, or challenging conditions and situations.

It doesn't need itself to be perfect.

It doesn't need the world to be perfect.

It doesn't need life existence to be perfect.

It doesn't need to be happy.

It doesn't need to make others happy.

It doesn't need to be this or not be that.

It doesn't need to have this or don't have that.

It doesn't need to control or be in control.

It allows all and everything to be what they are, as they are, and all are impermanent.

It allows all and everyone to be what they want to be, to think what they want to think, to feel what they want to feel, to believe what they want to believe, to behave how they want to behave, to react how they want to react, to express what they want to express, to be happy or unhappy, to agree or disagree, to desire or don't desire, to practice or don't practice, to be understanding or non-understanding, to realize or don't realize, to be peaceful or peaceless, and be free or not free.

It doesn't need to be free. As it is free.

If the breathing is slow, let it be slow.

If the breathing is fast, let it be fast.

If the breath stops coming and going, let it stops.

Inquire the truth of everything, and be free.

It's the freedom of the minds if they don't like, don't agree with, and don't want this freedom. Different minds have their own version of freedom. There's neither right nor wrong, but all and everyone is responsible towards their own thinking, belief, understanding, values, desires, actions, and practice, and the consequences of all that.

Be free from selfishness, possessiveness, pride, discrimination, petty-mindedness

Selfishness, possessiveness, pride, discrimination, and petty-mindedness, or greed, is not distinctive from self-destruction. It hurts others, and it will hurt oneself.

When a mind, not to say, the minds of a group of community, is being over-powered by selfishness, possessiveness (of claiming ownership and authority towards certain space and nature that don't belong to anyone), pride (towards their particular identity and possession), discrimination (towards the others that the mind(s) perceived as 'foreigners' or 'not one of us'), and petty-mindedness (of unwilling to be sharing the space and nature that don't belong to anyone with all and everyone, or unwilling to look after the general physical and mental welfare of the others, but depriving and destroying the general physical and mental welfare of the others), and under the influence of all these names and forms, the mind(s) generate desires, thoughts, actions and expressions that project the aspiration of either unwelcoming, pushing away, chasing out, and hating towards 'the others', or charging/taxing all others for their existence and all kinds of basic needs for survival in this space that doesn't belong to anyone, it all will come back unto oneself (themselves).

How people (the minds) desire to 'build' their 'living space' that doesn't belong to them or anyone (either full of peace, openness, kindness and harmony that give rise to prosperity for everyone, or full of unrest, selfishness, unkindness and disharmony that give rise to desperation and suffering for everyone), that's the 'living space' that they will be living in.

All kinds of basic survival needs that are available for all kinds of names and forms to be existing and surviving here in this space that doesn't belong to anyone, are coming from the selfless universe or the selfless nature, absolutely available for all and everyone to be existing and surviving here in this space that doesn't belong to anyone, unconditionally and limitlessly, provided that each and everyone needs to be exerting certain effort or energy to be maintaining and looking after their own existence and survival. All and everyone still needs to find food and water, and eat the food and drink the water, which requires certain effort or energy, where the energy is also coming from the selfless support of the selfless universe or nature, unconditionally and limitlessly, until the end of the existence of any particular name and form.

However, the many ignorant selfish possessive discriminating greedy minds thought that they could just claim ownership and authority towards the space and all kinds of basic survival needs that don't belong to anyone as much as they can, keeping for their own existence and survival, while at the same time, either forbidding others from existing and surviving in this space that doesn't belong to anyone, or restricting others' existence and survival by charging/taxing others for being existing and surviving in this space that doesn't belong to anyone.

It's like the air or oxygen. It doesn't belong to anyone. Similarly, the sun, the earth, the space, the land, the water, the nature or natural resources that exist selflessly and unconditionally for the existence and life maintenance or survival of all kinds of names and forms, don't belong to anyone.

It's the responsibility of the selfless thinking faculty towards its actions and reactions and their consequences

Who or what is there to be responsible towards any actions and consequences of actions, if all and everyone and everything are selfless? How come there is still cause and effect or action and consequences of action in the selfless actions upon the annihilation of the idea of 'I' and egoism?

All actions are selfless actions, and all actions give rise to consequences of actions, regardless of conscious or unconscious; whether the selfless mind attains self-realization, or not; knowing the truth of selflessness, or not; is free from the idea of 'I', egoism, ignorance, impurities and restlessness, or not; and transcending the restless suffering of ceaseless births and deaths transitioning in different realms, of selfless impermanent changes and the ceaseless thought after thought arising and passing away forming the continuous stream of thought activities that generates the impermanent states of mind governed by cause and effect, that is happening within the selfless physical body and the selfless modification of the mind, or not.

The nature's law of cause and effect, or action and consequences of action doesn't disappear or change into something else upon self-realization, or upon the realization of selflessness and impermanence of ceaseless selfless births and deaths within the selfless body and mind, or while performing selfless actions or selfless service that is without egoism of attachment, identification, desire of craving and aversion, comparison, judgment or expectation.

It doesn't mean that selfless actions or selfless service don't generate the consequences of actions.

It doesn't mean that actions before self-realization that are being performed under egoism, are not selfless actions, while actions after self-realization that are being performed without egoism, are selfless actions.

All minds are selfless. All kinds of actions being performed by the selfless minds via the selfless organs of actions and expression/speech of their respective selfless physical body, are all selfless. And hence, all actions are selfless actions. The difference is that whether the actions are being performed under the presence or absence of the idea of 'I' and egoism.

The selfless mind is not being determined or disturbed by cause and effect, or the actions and the fruit of actions, or all kinds of pleasant or unpleasant affairs/conditions/situations/ties and relationships/interactions, and is resting in unconditional peace under any conditions or situations, when the mind is free from the idea of 'I' and egoism, where all actions are being performed without the idea of 'I' and egoism. And vice versa.

Such as the yoga practitioner can be performing the yoga asana practice regularly without egoism of attachment, identification, desire of craving or aversion, comparison, judgment or expectation, while allowing the effect of the practice to be there as it is. The practitioner that is free from the idea of 'I' and egoism is not being determined or disturbed by the practice and the fruit of practice being what it is. While the practitioner that is under the influence of the idea of 'I' and egoism is being determined by the practice and the fruit of the practice, and is being disturbed by the practice or the fruit of practice that is not the way that the practitioner would like it to be. The effect of the practice is still what it is, it doesn't become more or less, or it doesn't change into something else, regardless of whether the practitioner performs the practice under the presence or absence of egoism, whether the practitioner knows or doesn't know what are the names and the effects of the different yoga asana poses or exercises.

Some minds might think and believe that, it's the sole responsibility of the supportive elements and energy towards the selfless impermanent changes in all and everyone and everything, or towards the transformation or the outcome of all and everything, especially the selfless impermanent life existence of all sentient beings that come with a selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty, where the functions, or the modifications, or the mind behavior pattern, or the states of the mind, is very much being determined or influenced by the presence and absence of different elements and energy fields, where there's no individual freewill to be altering/modifying or transcending all that, because all are selfless, there's no 'I' existing, but only existing and functioning selflessly governed by the 'existing' cause and effect, influenced by elements and energy.

There's nothing wrong with that understanding under the veil of ignorance. That understanding is due to the minds still haven't realized or couldn't comprehend that the selfless thinking and acting faculty has certain degrees of limited and yet conditional will power or freewill that enabling the selfless thinking faculty to be transcending the conditional and influential elements and energy, or the selfless impermanent functions, or modifications, or states of the mind, of ceaseless impermanent thoughts arising and passing away, knowing how to respect while at the same time transcending cause and effect or actions and consequences of actions, not being determined, or influenced, or disturbed by cause and effect, or the actions and the fruit of actions, not by interfering, controlling, changing, modifying, escaping or going against cause and effect, or the inevitable selfless impermanent changes of decay and disintegration, but by eradicating the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, rendering the modification or the state of the mind calm and clear, that allows the selfless thinking faculty to reflect the truth of itself as it is, and reflecting the truth of all kinds of names and forms as they are.

The selfless parents are only responsible towards giving birth to a selfless existence and function of their child under the support of the supportive selfless elements and selfless energy, and are responsible towards how they bring up, guide or teach the child, and what inputs that they feed to their child physically and mentally until the child attains physical and mental independence, that is very much molding, influencing and conditioning the basic foundation of the physical and mental condition, the way of thinking, belief and disbelief, reasoning, understanding, values and practice of the child. However, as the child grows older and starting to be exposed to some other selfless minds and different inputs, ideas, learning, interactions, activities or experiences, that are also influencing or conditioning and changing the way of thinking, belief and disbelief, reasoning, understanding, values and practice in certain way, which is not the responsibility of the parents.

The child grown up falling in love with someone, and gets into a relationship with someone by its own choice, and either is being happy or unhappy in that relationship with someone, or is being angry, offended and disturbed by something that it doesn't like, doesn't agree with and doesn't desire, of all its actions and reactions and the consequences of all that, is not the responsibility of the parents.

All kinds of impermanent thoughts activities or behaviors, actions and reactions as well as their consequences are arising from the selfless modification of the mind of the child, that generate the impermanent states of the mind of the child, are also not the responsibility of the parents. The child eaten something poisonous by its own choice, either intentionally or unintentionally, and suffer painful consequences, it's the responsibility of the child itself, unless someone else fed the child with the poison, either intentionally or unintentionally. But still, it's the child that is having the painful suffering of being poisoned, either inflicted by itself or by others, either intentionally or unintentionally. The parents don't suffer the painful consequences of being poisoned. The parents might be worrying and be disturbed by the child's painful suffering, but, they cannot take the child's painful suffering for the child. All impermanent thinking, belief/disbelief, reasoning, understanding, desires, intentions, behaviors, actions and reactions and their consequences, and all kinds of pleasant and unpleasant life experiences of the child, are the responsibility of the child itself.

The physical and mental independent child that has its own selfless thinking and acting faculty can choose to continue believing or stop believing in certain belief and values, and continue practicing or stop practicing certain practice being passed down by the parents.

Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, Swami Sivananda and Ajahn Chah were great minds and great teachers that reflect the teachings or the dhamma as it is, simply by being what they were, by resting in correct understanding and unconditional peace, transcending the selfless impermanent modifications of the mind that has been rendered calm and clear, void of the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, while reflecting the teachings, the dhamma, or the truth by living in the teachings, the dhamma and the truth, and respecting the truth, cause and effect, or selflessness and impermanence, as it is, while at the same time, not being determined or disturbed by cause and effect or selfless impermanent changes of decay and disintegration of the selfless existence and function of the limited and conditional body and mind, and everything that the selfless mind perceived through the senses, and not by going against the truth, or trying to escape cause and effect or selfless impermanent changes of decay and disintegration or mortality, or trying to change the truth to be something else that it is not.

Respecting the truth of selflessness and impermanence doesn't mean that one doesn't, or couldn't, or shouldn't do anything to free the mind from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, to have peace, to be free from perceiving and generating unnecessary suffering deriving from ignorance, to stop generating ignorant hurtful damaging behavior, action and reaction that hurt oneself and others and the surrounding environment during one's momentary selfless existence and function in the world of diversities that doesn't belong to anyone.

Just as under the presence of the knowledge about 'this is poisonous', the selfless mind can have the correct understanding and freewill of refraining from consuming this poison. That is nothing to do with not respecting or going against the truth. If not knowing 'this is poison', and somehow, one consumes this poison and is suffering the consequences of that, that is due to ignorance. If knowing 'this is poison', and still one consumes this poison, and hence, one is suffering the consequences of that, that is due to great ignorance.

Ignorance is conditional. Knowledge is conditional. Reasoning power is conditional. Thinking and belief is conditional. Will power is conditional. Behavior pattern is conditional. Action and consequences of action is conditional. The impermanent states of the mind is conditional. There are certain things that are limited, that cannot be changed, such as the truth of selflessness and impermanence in all and everything, or the past cannot be changed or undone, but anything else that is conditional, it can be modified, where the selfless mind can be free from many unnecessary ignorant behavior, action and reaction and the consequences of all that, by eradicating ignorance from itself, by itself.

No doubt that the selfless thinking faculty being one of the selfless functions of the selfless physical body cannot be existing or functioning, if without the selfless support of the supportive elements and energy, to be forming and powering its selfless impermanent existence or function, however, it's not the responsibility of the supportive elements and energy towards the different conditional thinking and acting process of each and everyone of the many different selfless minds that are existing and functioning under these selfless support, where different minds have different belief and disbelief and different values and practice, that are conditioning and influencing their different reasoning, different understanding, different intention, different desire, different decision making, different behavior, different action and reaction and inaction, not to say, the different consequences of behavior, action and reaction and inaction, being generated by the different selfless thinking minds themselves via the selfless organs of action and expression/speech of their respective different selfless physical body.

It's the responsibility of the selfless thinking faculty itself towards the entire thinking and acting process, towards what or how it thinks, believes and disbelieves, reasons, understands, intents, desires, decides, behaves, acts and reacts, regardless of under the presence or absence of awareness and correct understanding, even when there's no existence of 'I' existing in the selfless thinking and acting faculty, and even if the selfless thinking faculty and/or the selfless physical body doesn't and cannot exist or function, if without being supported and powered by the supportive elements and energy.

Just as a car doesn't exist, if without being supported by the many different components (elements) that formed the entire structure and the different functions/systems of the car, and it cannot function if without being powered by certain type of fuel (energy), but how the driver (the thinking and acting process of the selfless thinking faculty) drives the car, either skillfully, thoughtfully and attentively, or not, and how the driver makes use of the car under what intention or for what purpose (the modifications or the states of the mind, the reasoning, the understanding, the attentiveness, the effort, the decision, the intention, the desire, the behavior, the action and reaction), it's not the responsibility of the different components (elements) or the fuel (energy).

The selfless elements and energy can affect the functions, or the modifications, or the states of the mind, but the thinking and acting process of the selfless thinking faculty is at its own responsibility, just as the different components and the different types of fuel can affect the over-all efficiency of the many different cars, but, the driver is the one that decides whether to go faster, or slower, or to stop, and to go left, or go right, or go straight ahead, or make a U-turn, upon coming to a junction, or to maneuver the car in certain way to avoid crashing into certain objects, or what is the destination that the driver want to go with the car.

Unless, in certain exceptional cases, the car could be completely out of the control of the driver, due to some unforeseen malfunctioning of certain components/functions/systems of the car, just like when there is certain physical immobility due to certain deformity, or injury, or illness, or damage in the central nervous system, or the peripheral nervous system, or in certain physical structure or system. Or, when the selfless thinking faculty is totally lost or insane, without any self-awareness, self-control, correct understanding or sanity, either due to certain deformity, illness or injury that is affecting the normal functions of the brains, or due to deep rooted and empowered ignorance, where the thinking and acting process is either completely or partially dysfunction or corrupted. Similarly, a driver that is unfit to drive a car, or insane, or reckless, or under the influence of intoxicants while driving a car, might be causing lots of unnecessary damages to the car, or some other cars, or some other life forms, or some objects, or the surrounding environment.

Even the breakdown or malfunctioning of certain components or systems of the car, is not the intention of the selfless elements and energy for being what they are, being absence or presence, that is influencing the decaying process or the malfunctioning of the different components or systems, where the over-all condition of the car is very much depending on the car-user knowledge and driving skill of the driver, whether it's being over-used or under used, as well as the presence and absence of regular care and maintenance from the driver or the user.

And no matter how much care and maintenance is being shown upon the car by the driver or the user that is also impermanent, that won't be continuously looking after the car infinitely, and the car will eventually come to a point of stop functioning or stop existing, either before or after the driver or the user ceased functioning and ceased existing. Just as the over-all condition or well-being of the selfless physical body and the selfless thinking faculty can be enhanced and maintained as much as possible by the selfless thinking and acting process, but still, it will eventually come to a point of ceased functioning and ceased existing.

That's why it's the responsibility of the selfless thinking faculty for all its thinking, belief and disbelief, values, practice, reasoning, understanding, decisions, intentions, desires, behaviors, actions and reactions and the consequences of all that, even if all that cannot be existing or happening if without being supported by the supportive selfless elements and energy for it to be existing and functioning.

'The car driver' exists due to the existence of the car, or 'the car driver' doesn't need to be existing if the car is non-existing, and a car doesn't go anywhere or do anything if without being operating by 'the car driver', while the selfless thinking faculty doesn't exist if without the selfless existence and function of the selfless physical body, and the selfless physical body doesn't go anywhere or do anything if without the selfless function of the selfless thinking and acting faculty.

The same driver can be driving the car in different manners on different timing under the different states of the mind, while the same selfless thinking and acting faculty that is under the many different selfless impermanent states of the mind gives rise to different behaviors, actions and reactions in different timing via the selfless organs of action and expression/speech of the selfless physical body.

The only difference is that, the car can have many different drivers and the same driver can be driving many different cars in different timing because the driver is something completely separated from the car, while the selfless existence and function of the selfless physical body and the selfless thinking and acting faculty is non-separated.

It's always the same selfless thinking and acting faculty being part of the selfless functions of the same selfless physical body, even though the same selfless physical body is under going impermanent changes of growth, decay and aging impermanently, or under going ceaseless births and deaths that are happening within in the present moment now, where countless neurons, cells or atoms ceaselessly arising, changing and passing away (that's why it's never the same appearance and condition from moment to moment even though it's still the same physical body structure), while the same selfless thinking and acting faculty of the same selfless physical body is also under going ceaseless changes impermanently, of ceaseless births and deaths happening within the selfless modifications of the mind in the present moment now, where countless thoughts arising, changing and passing away, forming the different states of the mind, transitioning in different realms.

Those who have very obvious changes in between multiple personalities of very different behaviors or constantly swapping in between multiple identities in different timing, either shortly or prolongedly, which was being recognized by many people under different worldly egoistic ideas and beliefs as 'being possessed by different entities' (particularly happens when the energy level is extremely low or is imbalanced/hay-wired, where the different functions of the selfless thinking and acting faculty cannot function properly as they are), are merely because of the extremely weak will power/freewill during those moments of extremely low or imbalanced/hay-wired energy level, on top of the existing intense attachment and identification towards the different states of the mind, where the selfless thinking and acting faculty is being over-powered by the different collections of distorted and mixed up memories, arising and passing away in the selfless modifications of the mind, forming/manifesting/reflecting the different personalities and identities in different timing. These minds are merely lost and confused in the many different impermanent states of the mind under many distorted and mixed up memories arising and passing away due to certain short-term (low or imbalanced energy level/imbalanced diet or activity/illness/injury) or long-term (inherited genetic deformity/non-rehabilitate illness or injury) malfunctioning of the brains, where the selfless functions of the perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty cannot function properly as what it should be.

No doubt that the energy level or the energy field is affecting or influencing the degrees of the will power or the modifications/states of the selfless mind, but the energy level/field is conditional, and hence, it can be modified, or be enhanced, or be balanced through engaging in certain influential practices under the awareness and effort of the selfless thinking and acting faculty. The selfless thinking and acting faculty has influencing power to be influencing the energy level/field in certain way, and hence, it can influence, or modify, or render the modifications/states of the mind in certain way. The selfless thinking and acting faculty can choose what type of inputs that feed the body and mind, unless there are no options. That's why the existence of all these yoga and/or meditation practice being available for the selfless thinking and acting faculty to do something about its own modifications/states of the mind.

Even the so called state of trance, or hypnotism, or half-conscious/unconscious/autonomous physical and mental activity, or out of the body experience, or mystical transcendental experience, is also part of the selfless impermanent manifestation within the selfless physical body and modifications of the mind under certain influential influences. They are merely some momentary side-effects induced by some influential factors. They are not the goal, or the accomplishment, or the end of yoga or meditation practice.

That's why both the teachings of yoga and buddhism emphasized strongly on non-grasping or non-attachment towards all kinds of states of the mind, going beyond all kinds of physical and mental experiences, allowing all perceptions of names and forms being there as they are, arising, changing, and passing away, as they are, without craving or aversion. As well as the high importance of mental and emotional independence, dispassion and renunciation, seclusion and solitude, of moving the mind away from worldly egoistic affairs, activities, ideas, beliefs, values and practice, to be purifying the mind efficiently. Whatever the minds recognized as all kinds of super extraordinary transcendental experiences are still part of the selfless modifications of the mind, it's nothing to do with self-realization, or the liberation from ignorance and suffering. Keep practicing until the total annihilation of the modifications of the mind where the thought activities subsided, or Samadhi, or Silence, takes place - Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodhah.

What the mind perceives through the senses might not be its own choice or freewill, but it can choose whether to react or not to react, and choose how and when it wants to react towards the perceived names and forms. The selfless function of the perception perceiving names and forms as they are, is limited, but the reaction towards the perceived names and forms, is conditional. The cognition, the intellect, the reasoning, the understanding, the mind behavior pattern, the intention, the desire, the decision making, the will power, the awareness, the clarity, the attentiveness, the effort, the behavior, action and reaction, and the consequences of all that, that are determining the states of the mind being what it is, are all conditional.

Upon there's an urge to pee or shit, the selfless thinking and acting faculty can have certain degrees of awareness and will power to hold the pee or shit for certain amount of time until it gets to a toilet. Unless there's certain malfunctioning of the system or disease where one just pees and shits itself anytime and anywhere, without any awareness or control at all.

Upon there's a thought of anger arising in the mind, the selfless thinking and acting faculty under the presence of correct understanding can have certain degrees of awareness and will power to be unattached towards the thought of anger, not feeding or empowering the thought of anger, allowing the thought of anger to be there, changing and passing away. It doesn't have to be over-powered by the thought of anger, and act or react under the influence of the thought of anger. Or, under the absence of correct understanding, the selfless thinking and acting faculty is being over-powered by the thought of anger, while under certain degrees of awareness and will power, continuously feeding or empowering the thought of anger to become a continuous stream of intensified anger that lasts longer in the modification of the mind, while acts or reacts under the influence of the continuous stream of intensified anger. That's why the degrees of the awareness and will power are neither good nor bad, but most important, is the presence or absence of correct understanding, or the absence or presence of ignorance.

Peace, or not, it's up to the mind. To let go, or not, it's up to the mind. To be angry and hating, or not, it's up to the mind. To do something about the presence of ignorance and suffering in the mind, or not, it's up to the mind. To move the hand away from hot burning object, or not, it's up to the mind. To live a healthy way of life, or not, it's up to the mind. To stop thinking, behaving, acting and reacting ignorantly, selfishly and hurtfully, or not, it's up to the mind. To accept the possibility and impossibility, or not, after trying one's best to do and achieve something, it's up to the mind. Even if the mind is existing and functioning selflessly and impermanently. Meanwhile, all its desires/intentions/decisions/actions that give rise to the consequences of desires/intentions/decisions/actions are inevitably affecting its own life existence and others and the surrounding environment in certain way, during its momentary selfless existence and function in this world that doesn't belong to anyone.

It's also the responsibility of the selfless thinking faculty itself while it still has certain degrees of awareness, freewill, correct understanding or sanity, to be initiated and determined to free itself from the influence of ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, or not, to attain self-realization and transcending suffering, or not, before it's too late to be doing anything about it.

Inquire towards selflessness, oneness and non-separateness

Some minds might be confused by the teachings and practice of yoga and/or buddhism, as the minds might be misinterpreting the observation of dispassion, renunciation, seclusion, solitude, mental and emotional independence as a form of 'anti-community', while misinterpreting the teachings and realization of selflessness, oneness or non-separateness as a form of 'anti-individualism'.

The teachings and practice of yoga and/or buddhism is nothing to do with either 'anti-community'/'pro-individualism' or 'anti-individualism'/'pro-community'.

Both ideas, values and practice of 'anti-community'/'pro-individualism' and 'anti-individualism'/'pro-community' are the by-products deriving from the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness.

The minds that are under the influence of the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness would think and believe that all and everyone must choose to adopt either one of these ideas, values and practice to be what they are and to live life, where they cannot go beyond such duality, where they cannot comprehend that both these ideas, values and practice can either be existing together without any contradiction, or don't even need to be existing at all, where none need to adopt any of these ideas, values and practice to be what they are and to live life, as they are, where one can be embracing a community way of living, or embracing a solitude secluded way of living, or embracing and balancing both way of living, or embracing any other ways of living, as there is neither right nor wrong, neither good nor bad, neither meaningful nor meaningless in the many different ways of living under different desires or preferences.

The teachings and practice of yoga and/or buddhism is about freeing the mind from the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, so that the mind can have correct understanding and unconditional peace and harmony, regardless of what way of living that oneself prefers, desires, and is embracing, while being non-interfering towards all the others who are having their own many other different ways of living in the world of diversities, respecting all and everyone has their own freedom towards what they want to be, how they are, how they want to live their life in certain way that they prefer and desire, that they are embracing and feel most comfortable with.

The realization of selflessness, oneness, or non-separateness upon the annihilation of the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, void of egoism of attachment and identification towards all kinds of names and forms, being free from any individual or group identification with any quality of names and forms as 'I' or 'us', enabling the mind to respect all and everyone in the world of many diversities to be what they are, as they are. Where the mind doesn't interfere with all and everyone being what they are, as they are, nor trying to control, change, influence, convert, threaten or force others to be or not to be in certain way. It's nothing to do with 'anti-individualism'.

The observation and practice of dispassion, renunciation, seclusion, solitude, mental and emotional independence, is highly essential for the minds that have intense yearning for liberation, to be liberated from ignorance and the suffering deriving from ignorance, to be initiating the mind purification process, to purified the intellectual reasoning power, to be free from the influence of worldly passionate egoistic ideas, beliefs, values and practice to be reasoning and inquiring towards the truth of everything, to be eradicating the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness efficiently, to be attaining direct realization towards the truth of selflessness and impermanence, to attain correct understanding (the annihilation of the veil of ignorance) and realize unconditional peace. It's nothing to do with 'anti-community'.

The teachings and practice of yoga and/or buddhism are existing here for the minds whether to come in contact with, or not; to be interested, or not; to be picking up and practicing, or not; to inquire and realize, or not; and to be free, or not.

Regardless of all the different kinds of diversities of many different qualities of names and forms that all and everyone has or is identifying with, all and everyone is selfless and impermanent.

Selflessness, without a permanent independent infinite individual existence of 'I' existing in all and everyone and everything, of all kinds of names and forms, it doesn't mean that there is no selfless impermanent inter-dependent individual mortal existence of each and everyone that comes with their own respective selfless physical body with the selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty, where each and everyone has their own particular personal perception and non-perception of what they come or don't come in contact with/experience or don't experience/perceive or don't perceive/know or don't know, thinking and not thinking, believing and disbelieving, understanding and non-understanding, desire and don't desire, likes and dislikes, agreements and disagreements, and the limited freewill or freedom of decision and choice making, where all intentional or unintentional behaviors, actions and reactions give rise to the consequences of behaviors, actions and reactions, respectively, where the past cannot be undone, or the cause cannot be made disappear, while the process of cause coming into effect in the present moment can be modified or changed up to a certain extend depending on the availability or non-availability of the supportive elements, or how the mind is being conditioned or influenced to think and behave, act and react towards everything can be modified, purified, or disciplined under the presence of awareness, freewill, desire and effort of the mind itself.

Selflessness, where there's no existence of a permanent independent infinite existence of 'I' in the selfless impermanent physical body and mind to be under going selfless impermanent changes as well as to be responsible for the actions and the consequences of actions, it doesn't mean that the selfless physical body with the selfless thinking and acting mind doesn't exist, or doesn't go through selfless impermanent changes, or doesn't be responsible for the actions and the consequences of actions coming from this selfless thinking and acting mind via the selfless organs of action and expression/speech of the selfless physical body.

All kinds of human's suffering of unnecessary man made restriction, non-freedom, oppression, conflict, invasion, interference, discrimination, separateness, anger, hatred, resentment, vengeance, bully and violence are deriving from the presence of the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness in the selfless minds, that give rise to the sense of separateness, discrimination, selfishness, possessiveness, protectiveness, fear, greed, control, interference, pride, superiority, authority, offensiveness, defensiveness, dissatisfaction, disturbance, annoyance, anger and hatred, that give rise to all those unnecessary suffering in the world of many diversities.

All these hurtful destructive elements are not caused by the ideas, values and practice of community or individualism. It's deriving from the presence of the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness in the selfless minds.

Introducing more and more restrictions on restricting human's freedom of existence, living, moving, surviving, being, expression, thinking, belief, behavior, action and reaction doesn't lead to the vanish of all those hurtful destructive elements in the selfless minds, or doesn't lead to more peace and harmony in the world of many diversities, but only inflicts or triggers more and more unrest and disharmony, dissatisfaction and desperation in all minds, because of the suffering deriving from the lack of freedom or being restricted for being what all and everyone is, for being different from one another, for being where and how they are, or just for being able to survive and live momentarily in this world that doesn't belong to anyone.

The mind that has peace and harmony in itself, void of the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, will not be thinking, behaving, acting and reacting in the hurtful destructive way that hurt itself and others and the surrounding environment, naturally. It doesn't need to be 'controlled' or 'regulated' by some others to think, behave, act and react in certain way or not in certain way. It just needed to be free from ignorance and have correct understanding, via its own awareness, desire and freewill, self-discipline and self-effort, self-inquiry and self-realization, that leads to unconditional peace and harmony in itself, that contributes to world peace and harmony and respect among the many diversities.

The only way to have peace and harmony among the many diversities of many different minds of different names and forms, is the annihilation of the idea of 'I', ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness in oneself, by oneself.
