Renounce worldly passionate egoistic thinking and behavior

The teachings and practice of yoga and buddhism are for the minds that are interested to learn and practice and realize the universal teachings or dhamma of yoga and/or buddhism through direct self-realization via purifying and quieting the restless egoistic impure modification of the mind.

The minds that are not interested in learning, or practicing, or realizing yoga and/or buddhism, they don't need to practice yoga or buddhism, not to say, to practice yoga or buddhism as it is.

The core of the teachings and practice of yoga and/or buddhism is about activating the mind purification process to be modifying/changing the limited and conditional passionate egoistic impure restless mind thinking and behavior pattern, a.k.a. engaging in the mind quieting process to be free from the influence of the veil of ignorance a.k.a. the idea of 'I', or the ego, or the conscious/semi-conscious self acknowledgement and the sense of separateness, egoism, impurities, and restlessness, effectively and practically, by renouncing, or letting go, or moving away from the worldly passionate egoistic minds, ties and connections, relationships, affairs, activities, interactions, habits, or the passionate egoistic way of living, thinking, and behavior.

What is normal way of thinking, meaningful way of living, and appropriate behavior for the passionate egoistic minds, is exactly what needed to be renounced or letting go in the teachings and practice of yoga and/or buddhism.

There are different worldly egoistic cultures (different ways of living, thinking, belief and disbelief, evaluation, desire and don't desire, practice, and behavior), while regardless of from the one same cultural background or from the different cultural backgrounds, all and everyone have the freedom of their own particular way of living, thinking, belief and disbelief, evaluation, desire and don't desire, practice, and behavior.

Meanwhile, all kinds of different cultures have some similar common egoistic ideas, values, and practice that they all share in common, that is exactly what needed to be renounced or letting go during the mind purification and quieting process. Or else, even after years and years of practicing yoga and/or buddhism, the mind is still being conditioned by the worldly passionate egoistic mind thinking and behavior pattern to think, to evaluate, to desire, to act and react, or to live life and behave in certain way or not in certain way. The mind is still being restless swaying in between satisfaction and dissatisfaction, elevation and depression, meaningfulness and meaninglessness, happiness and unhappiness, joyfulness and joylessness, togetherness and separateness/loneliness/missingness, goodness and badness, pleased and displeased, enjoyment and suffering, and etc. Even so, there is neither good nor bad, neither right nor wrong about that.

For the minds that sincerely want to practice and realize yoga or buddhism as it is, then they can contemplate upon this, if they want.

The commonly shared among the different worldly passionate egoistic ideas, beliefs, values, practices, inspirations, aspirations, desires, visions, or ways of living, thinking, and behavior is about -

- "We all need to have family and friends, and we all need to have our particular community mental and emotional support."

or, "Aloneness, being by oneself, living by oneself, eating by oneself, enjoying life by oneself, navigating life existence in the world of impermanence and uncertainty by oneself, dealing with all kinds of challenging condition and situation by oneself, and performing beneficial action to be looking after the well-being of oneself and others and the surrounding environment, without family and friends or community mental and emotional support and interaction, is lonely and unhealthy, is bad and wrong, and is joyless and meaningless."

There is nothing wrong with having the companionship of family and friends or community mingling and interaction and support, but for the minds that want to practice and realize yoga or buddhism, it is about - "We can have family and friends or engaging in community activity and interaction to be giving and receiving mental and emotional support among one another, but we don't need to must have family and friends, or engaging in community activity and interaction to attain mental and emotional support among one another. It is absolutely okay and there is nothing bad, or wrong, or meaningless, or joyless, or unhealthy, if we are being alone and living alone by ourselves without being surrounded by family and friends or mingling and interacting with any particular community. Mental and emotional independence is one of the essential criteria and precious element to be developed and empowered in yoga and/or buddhism. All kinds of worldly passionate egoistic cultural/spiritual/religious/political/commercial/national/communal ideas, beliefs, values, and practices are all about developing and empowering mental and emotional dependence, that is a huge hindrance towards attaining direct self realization towards the truth of names and forms - Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self, that is crucial for promoting and maintaining world peace and harmony among the countless diversities in the world of diverse names and forms that doesn't belong to anyone or anything."

- "As human beings, we should behave like this and we shouldn't behave like that."

Which also being brought into the path of yoga and/or buddhism - "As a yogi or a buddhist, we should behave like this and we shouldn't behave like that."

There is nothing wrong with we ourselves want to be behaving in the way that we think and believe as 'good and appropriate', and don't want to be behaving in the way that we think and believe as 'bad and inappropriate' in accordance to our own particular cultural belief, values, and practice, but for the minds that want to practice and realize yoga or buddhism, it is about - "Our own particular cultural belief, values, and practice is only limited to ourselves. Others have their own freedom of their own particular cultural belief, values, and practice. What we think and believe and how we want to behave is our own freedom of thinking, belief, and behavior. What others think and believe and how others want to behave is their own freedom of thinking, belief, and behavior, including our particular immediate family members, parents, siblings, children, relatives, friends, and particular community, not to say all the others that are not our immediate family members, parents, siblings, children, relatives, friends, and particular community. Even the minds that are practicing yoga and/or buddhism, they are not necessarily practicing yoga and/or buddhism as it is, and they have the freedom for what they want or don't want to practice, and how they want to practice."

- "Life like this is joyful and meaningful, and life like that is joyless and meaningless."

There is nothing wrong that we have our own interpretation towards what is meaningful and meaningless, and what is joyful or joyless, but for the minds that want to practice and realize yoga or buddhism, it is about - "Our own interpretation towards what is meaningful and meaningless or joyful and joyless, is only limited to ourselves. All the others, including our family members, parents, siblings, children, friends, relatives, our particular community, and the many other diverse individuals and communities, they all have their own interpretation towards what is meaningful and meaningless, that can be completely different from one another."

Apply this inquiry towards all and everything about ourselves and all the others that are different from us.

The minds that have this understanding, will not be disturbed or offended by the other yoga and buddhism practitioners being what they are, not to say, all the others (non-yoga and buddhism practitioners) that have their own particular worldly egoistic cultural belief, values, and practice that influences their own particular way of living, thinking, belief and disbelief, reasoning and evaluation, desire and don't desire, practice, and behavior, while respecting all and everyone as they are.

If there is intense disagreement or discomfort towards some others' cultural belief, values, and practice or way of living, thinking, and behavior, then one can distance oneself away from such minds, environment, condition, and situation, to minimize coming in contact with anyone and anything that oneself strongly dislikes and disagrees with, as much as possible, while not expecting or bullying the others to change their cultural belief, values, and practice or way of living, thinking, and behavior, that oneself doesn't like and doesn't agree with, or expecting the others to go somewhere else to move away from oneself.

There is a room full of many different people. One person that doesn't like some others or all the others can leave the room, and everyone will have peace. But out of ignorance and possessiveness, this person expects the others that oneself doesn't like to leave the room - "I have the rights and freedom to be here, all these people that I don't like shouldn't be here."

Meanwhile, under certain passionate egoistic cultural practice, the one that wish to leave the room and let all the others to be what they are and have peace, would be stopped by the minds that are being conditioned by the cultural practice about, "No. You cannot leave the room. It is rude and inappropriate to leave the room. You need to stay here and interacting with all the others even if you don't like all the others, and you need to behave yourself as a well brought-up good and civilized human being (which means being a hypocrite that tell all kinds of lies to please all the others)."

So many minds are developing certain degrees of mental illness/blockage because of being conditioned and limited by such cultural practice from young, where it affects their relationship with all and everyone, and many of them who have became parents themselves also conditioning and limiting their own children in such way, to be well-trained professional hypocrite that please all and everyone, while being told that they should either keep all the dissatisfaction, complaints, and unhappiness suppressing within, or there is nothing wrong to be doing and saying everything bad behind people's back (back-stabbing their parents, their siblings, their children, their spouse, their friends, their colleagues, or the members of their particular community, behind their back, while being super nice and loving and hugging and saying all kinds of nice things towards one another all the time in front of them.)

That is not what kindness, compassion, accommodation, acceptance, and respect is about. Real kindness, compassion, accommodation, acceptance, and respect is free from any kind of ill will or resentment towards anyone or anything.

Hypocrisy is merely a hurtful values and practice and behavior that hurt oneself and others. It is indeed a form of hidden abusive behavior that begins in oneself that might grow into the surrounding environment that hurt all and everyone and the surrounding environment, where the accumulated intense disagreement, dissatisfaction, frustration, unhappiness, anger, and resentment towards someone or something are being directed to all the others and objects that are innocent, that are nothing to do with the accumulated intense disagreement, dissatisfaction, frustration, unhappiness, anger, and resentment towards someone or something.

All and everyone have the freedom to be what they are and where they are. All the others have the freedom to be what they are and where they are. We ourselves also have the freedom to be what we are and where we are, but we all need to know and understand that we all are co-existing and sharing the space that doesn't belong to anyone or anything with the many diversities, where there are many things or affairs are not necessarily pleasant, desirable, or agreeable. The infinite space in anywhere and everywhere doesn't belong to 'I', or 'my family', or 'my community', or 'my country', or 'my ancestors', or 'my spirituality/religion', or 'my almighty creator and authority and judge of the universe', or anyone and anything.

It has to come from ourselves to accommodate and respect towards all kinds of diversities that are co-existing in this space and sharing this space, under the presence of correct understanding, without any ill will, frustration, resentment, or bitterness. If we can't accommodate or tolerate this or that, we are the ones that can leave and go somewhere else, and let all the others to have peace and freedom being what they are and where they are.

The minds that don't have this understanding, will easily be disturbed or offended by all the others that have their own particular cultural belief, values, and practice that influences their own particular way of living, thinking, belief and disbelief, reasoning and evaluation, desire and don't desire, practice, and behavior. They expect and insist all the others to also think and behave like themselves. They want to interfere with and change the others either by temptation, reward, conversion, and manipulation, or by force, threat, intimidation, bullying, oppression, suppression, restriction, and/or painful disciplinary and punishment, if not, they want to chase away and eliminate anyone that are different from them. They gather power of control and bullying by encouraging and empowering financial and mental and emotional dependence among their own particular family, friends, or community in order to achieve their aspiration, vision, and ambition of to be possessing the power of control towards everyone to think and behave and desire in certain way and not in certain way, to gratify all their desires of what they want and don't want, as well as to be coveting and hoarding unlimited wealth and possessions, or land and space and natural resources that doesn't belong to anyone or anything.

And hence, the highly importance of the observation of dispassion and renunciation, solitude and seclusion, and silence (Mauna), in the path of yoga and/or buddhism, to move the body and mind away from continuously being conditioned and influenced by such worldly passionate egoistic selfish, possessive, prideful, and hurtful ideas, beliefs, values, and practices, while respecting and non-interference towards all the others to be what they are, as they are.

As long as the mind still has the conscious and semi-conscious attachment and identification towards "This is 'I', this is who and what I am, I am this and I am not that, and this is my body, my mind, my ideas/thoughts/thinking, my feelings and emotions, my knowledge, my experience, my qualification, my identity, my self-esteem and self-worth, my confidence, my family, my friends, my relatives, my father, my mother, my siblings, my husband, my wife, my children, my community, my tribe, my village, my birth place, my origin, my country, my nationality, my belief, my culture, my spirituality, my religion, my land, my space, my rights, my deserving privilege, my pride, my belongings, my achievements, my lineage, my teacher, my guru, my yoga, my buddhism, my practice, my fruit of practice, my action, my fruit of action, my peace, my happiness, my realization, my liberation, my freedom, and so on," the mind is not free.

The mind that realized the truth of Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self will understand that -

The idea of 'I' and 'my' or 'mine', is mere ignorance.

The body and mind doesn't even belong to the body and mind itself, or to one another. The body and mind cannot exist or function as what they are, if without energy and all kinds of elements come together selflessly and ego-lessly that enabling the body and mind to be existing and functioning as what they are.

The parents might give birth to the children, but the children don't belong to the parents, and vice versa.

The fruits, the flowers, the leaves, or the structure of the tree don't belong to themselves or one another.

The same as all and everything don't belong to themselves, or anyone, or anything.

There is nothing belong to anyone or anything. The existence/function/mechanism/state of mind doesn't even belong to the mind itself, what is there that is belonging to who or what? All and everything are selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self. None or nothing can exist as what they are if without all the other names and forms are existing to be inter-supporting and inter-influencing one another selflessly and ego-lessly to be manifesting/existing/changing/decaying/disintegrating/ceased existing as they are. None and nothing belong to anyone or anything.

There is neither good nor bad, neither right nor wrong if the mind is not free.

However, the mind that is not free might be keep hurting oneself and/or others and the surrounding environment ceaselessly, either wittingly or unwittingly, out of ignorance, under the presence and influence of the idea of 'I' and everything that belong to 'I' (a.k.a. possessiveness and hoarding, or greed and discontentment, or fear, or the urge to control all and everything to be or not to be in certain way, and the sense of belonging, pride, and self-righteousness), impurities, and restlessness.

Inquire the truth of everything.

The point of focus

Some minds focus a lot onto thinking about, or remembering the past memories of some pleasant and unpleasant, desirable and undesirable, agreeable and disagreeable, or enjoyable and non-enjoyable experiences.

Some minds focus a lot onto remembering the pleasant memories of some desirable and agreeable and enjoyable experiences, that were soothing to the mind.

Some minds focus a lot onto remembering the unpleasant memories of some undesirable and disagreeable and non-enjoyable experiences, that were hurting and painful to the mind.

Some minds focus a lot onto thinking about, or anticipating and projecting into the future of what could be happening, maybe something wishful/hopeful or fearful, maybe something pleasant or unpleasant, maybe something desirable or undesirable, maybe something agreeable or disagreeable, and maybe something enjoyable or non-enjoyable.

The adept yogic minds only focusing onto what is happening here in the present moment NOW, while being aware of all and everything are selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, without grasping onto what is here in NOW, internally and externally, of all kinds of experiences/conditions/situations/relationships/activities/affairs/causes and effects, that are all selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, regardless of constructive or destructive, pleasant or unpleasant, desirable or undesirable, agreeable or disagreeable, enjoyable or non-enjoyable, and soothing or painful.

In the beginning on the path of yoga and/or buddhism, it's common and natural that it is quite challenging for the mind to keep the entire focus onto the present moment NOW without grasping.

The egoistic and restless selfless mind has been being conditioned by the habitual mind behavior pattern that is restless, egoistic, impure, impatient, and inattentive, and that keeps running out everywhere to be chasing after the objects of the senses, to be busy gratifying the boundless desires of craving and aversion of what it likes and doesn't likes, as well as keeps going back and forth between past memories and future anticipations/imaginations/projections, while there is the presence of grasping, where there is clinging/association/attachment/identification towards all these selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self perceived names and forms (objects of the senses) as well as phenomena/manifestation in the restless modification of the mind, of random ceaseless thoughts/ideas/sensations/feelings/emotions/desires/urges/inspirations/aspirations/reactions/wild imaginations/flashing of past memories/the current internal and external impermanent conditions and situations, that keep arising, changing, and passing away.

And hence, the mind is autonomously being occupied by the selfless manifestation of endless and boundless ideas, desires (waiting to be fulfilled), inspirations, aspirations, visions, anticipations, projections, imaginations, fear, worry, clinging/attachment, longing/craving, aversion, likes and dislikes, agreements and disagreements, pleased and displeased, offensiveness and defensiveness, fleeting satisfaction, dissatisfaction, disappointment, discontentment, greed, missingness, envy, jealousy, hurt, frustration, irritation, bitterness, resentment, anger, hatred, guilt, regret, pride, shame, boredom, emptiness, loneliness, attention and affection seeking, scheming, planning, plotting, manipulating, politicking, interfering, justifying, story making and telling, commenting, creating, destroying, criticizing, condemning, slandering, back-biting, shaming, glorifying, blaming, achieving, possessing, hoarding, identifying, associating, connecting, interacting, communicating, doubting, enjoying, suffering, or unrest, that are truly unnecessary.

In this beginning stage of activating the conscious mind evolution by engaging in certain genuine yoga and/or buddhism observations and practices, the mind can begin with diverting its focus or attention onto what is constructive, elevating, easy, achievable within one's capability, pleasant, desirable, agreeable, and enjoyable or soothing to the mind (Rajastic), instead of focusing onto what is destructive, depressing, difficult, non-achievable beyond one's capability, unpleasant, undesirable, disagreeable, and non-enjoyable or painful to the mind (Tamasic), while developing and empowering non-grasping towards the internal natural phenomena/manifestation of the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self modification of the mind, as well as towards the external surrounding environment of all kinds of experiences/affairs/activities/ties and connections/relationships/interactions/communications/conditions/situations being perceived through the senses via the organs of the senses. This process might take as much effort and practice as it needs.

After that, the mind needs to move forward by developing focus or attentiveness onto what is here in the present moment NOW, internally and externally, that are all impermanent, by focusing onto where one is and what one is doing, without grasping onto what is happening or the actions and fruit of actions, whether it's some form of yoga and/or buddhism practice or it's some form of daily affair/activity/duty/responsibility that are wholesome and beneficial to all and everyone and everything (Sattvic), that are all impermanent, that are constantly changing, regardless of easy or difficult, possible or impossible, pleasant or unpleasant, desirable or undesirable, agreeable or disagreeable, enjoyable or non-enjoyable, and soothing or painful, while not wasting life existence and function or energy onto wandering into the past memories or getting lost in the future projections/imaginations/anticipations/building castle in the air/day dreaming, that don't exist, but only exist in the form of thinking.

This process would take as much continuous effort and practice/perseverance/determination/patience/forbearance/adjustment/adaptation/accommodation that it needs to take, without expecting/anticipating the result to be or not to be in certain way, allowing and respecting the fruit/outcome/effect/side-effects/changes to be there as it is.

Naturally and eventually, under the presence of such understanding and non-grasping, the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self restless impure egoistic thought process/modification/state of the mind will be rendered quiet and resting at peace unconditionally (going beyond Rajasic, Tamasic, and Sattvic, or transcending the Gunas/attributes/qualities/dualities/energy fields/states of mind), effortlessly.

Countering Tamasic state of mind (negative thinking/idleness/depression/low energy) by rendering the mind Rajasic (positive thinking/activeness/elevation/high energy).

Countering Rajasic state of mind by rendering the mind Sattvic (calmness).

Under the Sattvic state of mind that is also impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, and under the absence of grasping/clinging/association/attachment/identification towards the momentary pleasant/desirable/agreeable/soothing Sattvic state of mind, then eventually and naturally, devoid of expectation/anticipation, the selfless perceptive/cognitive mind under the presence of conscious/semi-conscious awareness transcends all three impermanent states of mind effortlessly, as it is, resting upon the timeless changeless unconditional peace that doesn't appear or disappear, that doesn't increase or decrease, that is undetermined/uncontaminated/unaffected by all kinds of impermanent qualities of names and forms that are pleasant/unpleasant, desirable/undesirable, agreeable/disagreeable, enjoyable/non-enjoyable, or soothing/painful to the mind, but was/is unknown by the selfless perceptive/cognitive mind when it was/is functioning under the veil of ignorance.

Unconditional peace is always there in all and everyone and everything, never increase nor decrease, even in the most evil/ignorant/violent/restless/destructive/disturbed mind.

It's not something manifested under certain cause, or can be developed, attained, and possessed, or tradable and exchangeable, or can be empowered and weakened. It is timeless and attributeless (changeless) beyond time, space, and causation.

It doesn't belong to anyone or anything that are all selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, but it is always there in all and everything, within and without, before/during/after the manifestation of all kinds of names and forms that come and go, that exist and ceaselessly changing and ceased existing under respective cause and pace, but it is unknown to the mind that is functioning under the influence of the veil of ignorance.

Just as the truth of Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self exists timelessly and changelessly in all kinds of names and forms (living organisms and non-living objects). It is what all and everything are. It is not an idea, or a belief, or a philosophy, or a theory, or a wishful thinking, or a set of values.

The truth of Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self doesn't change, and is always there in all and everything, as it is, regardless of what and how all and everything are (good or bad/right or wrong/kind or unkind/happy or unhappy/peaceful or peaceless/useful or useless/constructive or destructive/meaningful or meaningless/long-lived or short-lived/functional or dysfunctional), regardless of whether the mind knows or doesn't know, agrees or disagrees, likes and doesn't like, desires or doesn't desire, praises or condemns, or understands/doesn't understand/misunderstands towards the truth of itself and all and everything that it perceives internally (self awareness/the perceiver/the experiencer/the thinker/the enjoyer and sufferer) and externally (being aware of the surrounding environment within and without/the perceived/the experience/the thinking/the object of enjoyment and suffering).

To know the truth of everything means to know Thyself, and vice versa.

To be free from ignorance, is by studying and inquiring towards the existence and function of oneself (the existence and function of the physical body operating under different bodily systems with the perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty under different states of consciousness), and vice versa.

This is nothing super extraordinary, spiritual, religious, mystical, miracle, magical, or unreachable.

All genuine highly enthusiastic, attentive, intelligent, and knowledgeable scientists or biologists 'should' know this, unless the mind is still being conditioned by certain worldly egoistic ancestral/family/cultural/social/spiritual/religious/educational/philosophical/political/commercial/personal/communal/tribal/regional/national/traditional/new age ideas, beliefs, values, visions, and practices.

It is merely the science of the selfless mind and the selfless modification of the mind, and the conquest of the restless impure egoistic ignorant turbulent disturbed/elevated/depressed suffering impermanent states of mind, by the mind itself.

The highly enthusiastic, attentive, intelligent, and knowledgeable minds that are free from the influence of the veil of ignorance can truly benefit the world of many diversities that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, effectively, in many ways, especially the highly inspired ambitious minds that are holding or will be holding certain duty/responsibility/position/power of parenting/educating/teaching/coaching/influencing/empowering/acting/working/researching/investigating/inventing/engineering/managing/organizing/town planning/country developing/law making/law enforcing/governing/leadership of any kind.

One stops hurting oneself and others and the surrounding environment.

Such mind is not being determined, influenced, manipulated, pleased, displeased, promoted, demoted, motivated, demotivated, intimidated, offended, belittled, humiliated, or hurt by anyone or anything.

It's okay, if the mind is not free/happy/peaceful in this present moment NOW. This is also impermanent.

Keep practicing.

No judgment. No comparison. No expectation.

Inquire the truth of everything.

Self control or self restraint served as momentary control towards by-products of ignorance

The veil of ignorance is a natural phenomena that manifests and exists in the selfless minds upon the activation of conscious and semi-conscious awareness/perception/cognition under the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness.

It is neither something bad, nor evil, nor negative, nor bad karma, nor sinful, nor low intelligence, nor low education, nor lack of knowledge, nor shame, humiliation, condemn, punishment, or painful suffering deserving.

However, the minds that are functioning under the influence of the veil of ignorance, might be ignorantly performing actions/reactions/activities that would be hurting oneself and others and the surrounding environment under the influence of ignorance and its by-products.

It is highly important for all the selfless minds under the presence of conscious and semi-conscious awareness/perception/cognition to be engaging in the conscious active process of eradicating the veil of ignorance from the selfless modification of the mind, by the mind itself, out of its own conscious freewill, effort, perseverance, and determination, under the presence of intense yearning towards attaining liberation from ignorance a.k.a. attaining absolute knowledge of knowing the truth of things as it is, without being contaminated or influenced and conditioned by the existing inherited and/or adopted worldly passionate egoistic ideas, beliefs, values, desires, and practices in the mind.

Although whether the mind will attain direct realization towards the truth of the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self existence and function of all kinds of names and forms, or not, after engaging in persevered engagement in the process of eradicating the veil of ignorance, a.k.a. quieting the restless impure egoistic thought process/modification of the mind, is not important at all, however, the absence of the veil of ignorance in the mind under the presence of conscious and semi-conscious awareness/perception/cognition will definitely be benefiting all and everyone and everything in the world of many diversities that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, especially when the mind is still existing and functioning selflessly, impermanently, limitedly, and conditionally, even when the selfless impermanent limited and conditional momentary existence and function of the mind that is existing and functioning under the momentary existence and function of the specific physical body, doesn't even belong to the body and mind itself.

The highly useful/functional presence of self control or self restraint, that can be presence or absence, that can be developed and empowered, that can be weak or strong, it served as or played the role of the powerful momentary treatment or control that can hinder or minimize the mind from performing hurtful actions/reactions/activities through the selfless organs of action via the selfless physical body, that would be hurting oneself and others and the surrounding environment under the presence of the veil of ignorance, a.k.a. the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, and restlessness, as well as the conscious and semi-conscious awareness/perception/cognition towards all kinds of inevitable painful suffering of the physical body - inevitable restless maintenance of ceaseless hunger and thirst, or inevitable process of growth, ceased growing, decay, and disintegration, and all kinds of evitable unnecessary suffering deriving from being ignorant towards the truth of Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self.

Self control, means NOT at all by external force/intimidation/threat/bully/discipline of being forced/intimidated/threatened/bullied/disciplined by some others, but coming from the conscious freewill and initiation of the mind itself, willingly and wittingly to be restraining itself from engaging in any kind of harmful actions/reactions/activities that would be harming oneself and others and the surrounding environment, under the presence of some basic correct understanding, or universal common sense, or conscience (not necessary the presence of complete correct understanding or absolute knowledge), as there are still some kind of impurities or hurtful destructive thoughts/ideas/desires ceaselessly arising and passing away in the thought process. All these hurtful destructive thoughts/ideas/desires don't turn into physical actions/reactions/activities under the presence of self control or self restraint, not being over-powered or determined by all those impurities or hurtful thoughts/ideas/desires that are all selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

The more the presence of external interference by force, the more turbulent is the thought process, or the restless disturbed agitated modification/state of the mind. The veil of ignorance is becoming even more intense. It is the complete opposite direction towards calming and quieting the restless thought process/modification/state of mind.

Even if there is some 'forcing'/'pushing beyond certain existing limitation' coming from the mind itself during the process of quieting the restless impure egoistic thought current/modification/state of mind, it doesn't help to calm down the restless thought current but would agitate the restless state of mind even more. Or, the mind depends/relies on taking certain substances that will give momentary effect of calming the state of mind, but the mind will no longer be calmed if without taking substances with such calming effect, or when the momentary effect disappears, this is not what liberation is about, although, it does help the mind that is completely lost to stop hurting oneself and others or the surrounding environment, under the momentary control of certain substances/medical treatments.

Even the many different types of yoga and concentration/meditation observations and practices are also giving certain momentary effects of calming the state of mind, that are also impermanent, limited, and conditional. It is not the goal, or the objective, or the end of the practice. The mind needs to be able to go beyond even that momentary induced calmness deriving from engaging regularly in certain observations and practices, under the presence of non-grasping and the development of correct understanding, by inquiring towards the truth of everything (knowing Thyself) under that momentary state of calmness/focus/attentiveness that will also change and pass away.

The difference between undertaking the influential substances/drugs/medical treatments and the engagement in different types of yoga observations and practices, is that, there is the absence of conscious/semi-conscious self effort/control while being under the control/influence of some influential substances/drugs/medical treatments, just as under the state of unconsciousness/deep sleep/coma, which doesn't lead towards the annihilation of the veil of ignorance that manifests naturally during the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness, but there is the presence of certain degrees of conscious/semi-conscious self effort/control/inquiry/realization while observing and performing certain yoga observations and practices which will be empowering the degrees of self control under the presence of conscious freewill and effort, that will lead towards the annihilation of the veil of ignorance under the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness, without the need/addiction/dependence of depending on the momentary calming effects induced by certain influential substances/drugs/medical treatments, even if the decision and action of undertaking certain influential substances/drugs/medical treatments is out of the conscious/semi-conscious freewill and effort of oneself, and not being forced by some others without one's conscious consent or awareness.

The attainment of the momentary calmness state of mind that derives from or depends on the limited and conditional availability of certain substances/drugs/medical treatments or performing certain yoga and/or buddhism observations and practices, is not liberation.

The direct realization towards the unconditional peace that is timeless and attributeless that is always there as it is, unchanging beyond time, space, and causation, not being determined by the limited and conditional availability of certain substances/drugs/medical treatments or performing certain yoga and/or buddhism observations and practices, but is known/realized by the selfless mind under the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness, but under the absence of the veil of ignorance, under the presence of the absolute knowledge arising from seeing everything as they are, or under the presence of the correct understanding arising from self inquiry inquiring towards the truth of everything, under the conscious/semi-conscious state of clarity, is liberation.

That is why there was/is the advice from the past and present awakened buddhas and gurus about the importance of refraining from undertaking any kind of influential addictive intoxicants/drugs unless the mind is completely lost and that keeps hurting oneself and others and the surrounding environment, and hence, it needs to be controlled under the momentary effect/control/influence of certain substances/drugs/medical treatments, in order to stop hurting oneself and others and the surrounding environment.

That is why the highly importance of looking after the well-being of the mind by the mind itself, before it becomes too late to do anything (irreversible) upon the mind is completely lost and keeps hurting itself and others and the surrounding environment voluntarily/involuntarily and ignorantly, where it is highly important to rely solely on the development and empowerment of conscious/semi-conscious self control, self effort, and self inquiry to attain direct self realization towards the truth of everything, and realize the unconditional peace that is beyond the impermanent states of mind, including the momentary Sattvic/calmness state of mind, that can be induced by undertaking certain influential substances/drugs/medical treatments (not recommended unless the mind is completely lost), or via the active engagement in certain conscious/semi-conscious physical and mental observations and practices.

The mind needs to develop and have some basic correct understanding towards non-grasping, non-attachment, non-identification, non-craving, non-aversion, non-judgment, non-comparison, and non-expectation in the process of quieting the restless modification of the mind.

There is needless of self control or self restraint under the absence of the veil of ignorance (devoid of the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, and restlessness, or the disturbed painful suffering state of mind), a.k.a. under the presence of clarity, or complete correct understanding, or absolute knowledge.

The presence of self control is highly useful and important when the veil of ignorance is still present and existing in the selfless modification of the mind, but it doesn't eradicate the veil of ignorance, if the idea of 'I' and egoism continuously gives rise to and empowers all kinds of impurities and restlessness.

The ignorant minds think and argue that, "If there is no I or self, who is there to be self controlled, or controlling oneself? Who or what is there to be accountable for all kinds of actions/reactions/activities and their consequences?"

Selflessness, as well as the absence of the ego, or 'I'lessness, doesn't mean that the selfless body and mind doesn't exist, or all these selfless names and forms don't exist.

It is the selfless impermanent limited and conditional momentary existence and function of the conscious/semi-conscious egoistic mind that is the one being aware of the restless impure egoistic modification of itself, and have the conscious initiation and effort to be modifying and rendering its own state of mind as well as controlling its own egoistic impure hurtful behaviors/actions/reactions/activities, consciously and semi-consciously, under the presence of conscious and semi-conscious awareness/perception/cognition.

All minds are selfless. While the selfless minds can be functioning either under the presence or absence of the ego and egoism.

Such as the partial or complete autistic minds are being born under the partial or complete absence of the ego (conscious/semi-conscious self acknowledgement, or the sense of separateness) and egoism (egoistic activities/actions/reactions/behaviors), biologically, naturally, and effortlessly.

Being autistic, is not at all a form of painful suffering to the autistic mind itself, but the surrounding others that are functioning under the presence and influence of the ego and egoism might be confused and disturbed by the quietness, non-talkative, non-sociable, non-interaction, non-communication, and the high sensitivity towards the over-whelming random inputs of the senses from the surrounding environment of the autistic mind, and hence, the surrounding egoistic minds might be in a state of disturbance or painful suffering, due to non-understanding towards the autistic mind doesn't behave 'normally' like all the others.

There is absence of egoistic conscious/semi-conscious good or bad intention/desire in the ego-less autistic mind, but only instinctive autonomous non-conscious urges to react instinctively towards certain condition and situation under the presence of the survival instinct, that also exists in the non-sentient living organisms, such as plants and in the sentient living organisms that haven't developed the idea of 'I' a.k.a. conscious/semi-conscious self awareness/acknowledgement, or the sense of separateness. It is not a bad thing at all, for the minds that are being born autistic. There is absence of conscious/semi-conscious perception of pleasurable enjoyment (clinging/craving) and painful suffering (aversion).

Meanwhile, an egoistic selfless mind can be functioning under the presence or absence of self control, and whether there's initiation and effort to minimize or avoid generating hurtful behaviors/actions/reactions/activities that would be hurting oneself and others and the surrounding environment that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, or not.

An ego-less selfless mind doesn't need the presence of self control to be functioning as what it is, as there is absence of egoism, impurities, and restlessness, or disturbance, desperation, and painful suffering.

Inquire the truth of everything.

Ignorance is natural common mental manifestation in many minds but it is absolutely removable

The veil of ignorance that is formed naturally upon the presence of conscious and semi-conscious awareness under the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness, upon the activation of the conscious function of the mind perception/cognition perceiving, knowing, remembering, and recognizing the existence and function of the body and mind itself and the external surrounding environment, where there is the thinking process of self acknowledgement, or the idea of 'I', or the ego, arise in the form of a continuous stream of thought/idea/thinking in the selfless impermanent limited and conditional modification of the mind that is non-self, that doesn't even belong to the selfless mind itself, that is existing and functioning being part of the many selfless mechanisms of the selfless physical structure of the conscious sentient living organisms that are all selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

The presence of conscious self acknowledgement, or the idea of 'I', or the ego, gives rise to egoistic action and reaction (egoism), of grasping/clinging, that gives rise to all kinds of attachment, ties and connection, relationship, identification, desire of craving and aversion, judgment, comparison, and expectation towards all kinds of names and forms being perceived through the senses via the sense organs, that gives rise to all kinds of evitable impurities and the sense of subject and object, or dualities/separateness/discrimination/selfishness/possessiveness/ties and connections/relationships/interactive activities/communications, that give rise to boundless inspirations and aspirations, or discontentment and greed, or fear and worry, or dissatisfaction and disappointment, or offensiveness and defensiveness, or intimidation and hurt, or anger and hatred, or resentment and bitterness, or jealousy and envy, and etc, which formed the disturbed agitated stimulated egoistic impure restless state of mind, that hinders the mind to perceive, know, reason, or understand all and everything as it is, which is what the veil of ignorance is about.

There is neither bad, nor wrong, nor sinful, nor bad karma, nor punishment deserving, nor suffering deserving, about all those selfless conscious and semi-conscious egoistic activities in the selfless perceptive/cognitive/intellectual/emotional/thinking/acting mind/faculty/mechanism of the selfless conscious sentient living organisms.

The veil of ignorance is merely a natural formation/manifestation/phenomena that comes along with the presence of conscious and semi-conscious awareness, upon the activation of the conscious and semi-conscious thought process/modification of the mind in the state of consciousness/wakefulness and semi-consciousness/semi-awake/semi-sleep/dreaming, while there is absence of such egoistic activities in the state of unconsciousness/deep sleep/coma, or in the autistic minds, where the selfless impermanent limited and conditional physical and mental activities for life maintenance are running/operating/functioning selflessly and ego-lessly under the mechanisms of different autonomous bodily systems that perform their own respective duty as it is, while inter-responding/communicating among each other, selflessly, ego-lessly, and intentionlessly.

Even though the presence of the veil of ignorance is neither good nor bad, however, out of ignorance, or under the influence of the veil of ignorance, the selfless egoistic mind habitually and ignorantly generates boundless egoistic actions and reactions that would be hurting itself and others and the surrounding environment, even if under the presence of 'good and righteous' intention/aspiration of what the mind thinks and believes as 'good, righteous, positive, constructive, and meaningful' based on the existing particular inherited/adopted/developed way of thinking, ideas, beliefs, values, and practices in the mind about what is good and bad, what is right and wrong, what is positive and negative, what is constructive and destructive, or what is meaningful and meaningless, which is NOT the truth of what things are.

Upon the direct realization towards the truth of Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self, the mind might or might not be performing activities/actions that would be beneficial to all and everyone and everything in the surrounding environment that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, selflessly, ego-lessly, intentionlessly, indiscriminately, and unconditionally.

The only 'challenge' is that, it has to come from each mind itself to be aware of while acknowledging the presence of ignorance in itself, without being over-powered by it, without the sense of inferiority, or shame, or humiliation, or animosity, or self-blame, or self-punish, without association or identification with the presence of the veil of ignorance in the thought process/modification of the mind as, "I am ignorant, or I am bad and wrong, or I am evil and terrible, or I am stupid and useless," while replacing such thinking and understanding with, "I am not ignorance. Ignorance is not I. I am like the mirror and the ignorance is like the dust and stains on the mirror. The dust and stains on the mirror can be removed under certain effort and method, so is the ignorance can be removed under certain effort and method," and has the initiation and intense yearning to do something about it, to free itself from ignorance, via its own effort and determination, out of its own limited conscious freewill and partial incomplete understanding, to attain absolute knowledge and complete correct understanding, or wisdom.

Because under the influence of ignorance and egoism, most minds would perceive, or judge, or understand, or recognize, or label the presence of the veil of ignorance in its thought process/modification of the mind, is something bad, wrongful, evilness, sinful, negative, inferior, weakness, shortcoming, failure, laziness, condemn/punishment/suffering/shame/humiliation deserving, genetically inherited, inevitable that it couldn't be removed no matter what and how, and etc. Some minds would become even more motivated to get out of such condition desperately, while most minds would become highly demotivated by the presence of such thinking and understanding in the mind, thinking and believing that, "I am ignorant and I can't do anything about it, and I wouldn't be able to be free from ignorance no matter how much I want and try, because ignorance is so deep rooted in me. I am born like that, and I can't change that," which is incorrect thinking and understanding.

"All are impermanent, limited, and conditional (modifiable/changeable under the presence or absence of certain limited condition)."

It is not about instilling hope for the hopeless, but it is a factual information/knowledge that,

"Even the most evil and most ignorant mind in the world, can also be free from ignorance, if there is the intense yearning towards liberation from ignorance a.k.a. intense yearning towards absolute knowledge, under the presence of intense determination and perseverance."

One doesn't need to be super extraordinary, or super intelligent, or super knowledgeable, or highly educated, or highly virtuous and meritorious, in order to free the mind from the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, and restlessness, or to annihilate the veil of ignorance, or to become quiet and at peace unconditionally, as long as there is the conscious perception/cognition towards all these.

The mind that is unconscious or unaware under the absence of conscious/semi-conscious awareness/perception/cognition towards all these (neither enjoying nor suffering), or the conscious/semi-conscious mind that is conscious and aware, but it is indulging in the impermanent limited conditional process of enjoying this or that, and hence, there is absence of desperation or yearning towards liberation from ignorance, or suffering.

There is neither good nor bad, neither right nor wrong, about the presence and absence of conscious/semi-conscious awareness and the desperation/yearning towards liberation from ignorance, or suffering.

One just needs to keep practicing and keep going undertaking the middle path, and be able to make necessary adjustment, adaptation, and accommodation towards any unforeseen and challenging conditions and situations that are all impermanent, limited, and conditional, and go beyond all kinds of worldly passionate egoistic traditional and non-traditional (ancient or new age) ideas, beliefs, values, and practices about all and everything.

Quiet the mind, and inquire the truth of everything, and be free.

The persistent regular practice highly matters but the result doesn't matter at all

Why is the active continuous engagement in the yoga and meditation practice regularly highly mattered, but the many different impermanent by-products/side-effects/consequences that come along with the regular practice, as well as the final fruit/outcome/result of the entire total accumulated persevered practice (whether the mind successfully attains direct realization towards the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self, or not) at the end of life existence doesn't matter at all?

Just as the existence of all kinds of fruit trees that produce different kinds of fruits respectively might be important and beneficial to the survival of many others, but whether all the fruits on the trees are being consumed, or not, and are being consumed in certain way or not in certain way, is not the responsibility of the fruit trees and the fruits, and it doesn't matter.

Just as performing all actions/duties/responsibilities under the presence of correct understanding is highly mattered, but the fruit of actions/duties/responsibilities, or how others respond and react towards one's actions and fruit of actions, doesn't matter at all.

Just as the effort, or willpower, or resilience of keep going in the journey of a selfless impermanent limited and conditional momentary life existence until it comes to an end under respective cause and pace, is what mattered, but what is there, or not there, in the end of the journey, it doesn't matter at all.

*Such as there are many different wishful and hopeful or fearful and threatening stories telling about 'what happens upon and after death', or the common worldly belief about the existence of a timeless beginningless and endless infinite immortal existence of a permanent independent infinite individual self identity/soul/spirit/consciousness undergoing either several or countless separate births and deaths (limited and unlimited reincarnations/rebirths) ignorantly, reluctantly, and unwittingly, where either the cycle of births and deaths has a beginning that will come to an end, or it is a beginningless and endless loop/wheel of endless births and deaths, where the minds are not being in the present but are being busy building, accumulating, projecting, and anticipating what after now. Or, upon attaining the direct realization towards the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self in the finite momentary existence in all kinds of names and forms - regardless of whether living organisms or non-living objects, where there isn't any past different separate existence or future different separate existence beyond this existence, or there aren't continuous past/present/future different separate existences that belong to a permanent independent infinite individual identity/soul/spirit/consciousness that doesn't exist, where the only existence is what is here in NOW, and it is selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

Just as the selfless impermanent limited and conditional momentary life existence and function that is still existing and functioning in NOW is highly mattered, but when (long-lived/short-lived) and how (the cause of death) is the life existence and function comes to an end, doesn't matter at all.

Just as whether the minds believe or disbelieve in 'the creator and the judge of all and everything' or 'God'/'gods'/'soul'/'spirit'/'individual consciousness'/'heaven, earth, and hell'/'different realms'/'ceaseless reincarnations in endless loop of births and deaths undergoing countless different separate life existences transitioning among different realms of a permanent independent individual consciousness or soul or spirit', and etc, doesn't matter at all, but to be engaging in the mind purification and silencing process, or the silence of the restless impure egoistic modification of the mind, or the annihilation/subjugation/stillness of the restless thought current, that gives rise to clarity of thinking and reasoning, that gives rise to correct understanding/wisdom/absolute knowledge, that gives rise to unconditional peace in oneself that contribute peace into the surrounding environment, regardless of whether the mind believes or disbelieves in 'all that', where the mind stops hurting or doesn't hurt itself and others and the surrounding environment under the influence of ignorance and the by-products of ignorance, either wittingly or unwittingly, consciously or unconsciously, intentionally or unintentionally, voluntarily or involuntarily, is what matters.

*The mind doesn't hurt itself and others and the surrounding environment is not because of fear towards painful punishment, but out of conscious freewill under the absence of fear under the presence of correct understanding.

Just as it doesn't matter even when there are many minds believe in the many imaginative wishful thinking, or comforting mystical stories telling, or desirable justifications about 'what happens or what is there after death', that are non-factual, but more importantly, is how the conscious perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting mind making good use of the selfless impermanent limited and conditional life existence and function of the body and mind that doesn't even belong to the body and mind itself, that is still existing and functioning under the selfless support of the selfless energy and the many different selfless elements in NOW, under the existing available physical and mental good condition and functionality, knowledge, understanding, experience, talent, skill, and opportunity, to be performing selfless actions/physical and mental activities that can benefit all and everyone and everything unconditionally and indiscriminately, out of generosity, kindness, and wisdom (correct understanding or absolute knowledge).

Just as all human beings, regardless of young or old, energetic or non-energetic, healthy or unhealthy, fit or unfit, knowledgeable or non-knowledgeable, intelligent or non-intelligent, talented or non-talented, skillful or non-skillful, happy or unhappy, ambitious or non-ambitious, wise or ignorant, understanding or non-understanding, introvert or extrovert, selfish or unselfish, good or bad behavior, short-lived or long-lived, need to have or develop a specific point of focus/attentiveness/direction/goal throughout the entire momentary duration of the selfless impermanent limited and conditional life existence and function, to be diverting the entire attention and energy onto the physical and mental engagement in something that is beneficial to oneself and others and the surrounding environment, where there is no extra room/time/space, attention, or energy left for some other physical and mental activities that are harmful to oneself and others and the surrounding environment, during the momentary selfless impermanent limited and conditional existence and function of the body and mind, is what matters.

The minds that have attained direct self realization towards the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self, will naturally understand why it doesn't matter about 'the existence of the many different comforting and/or threatening stories telling or justifications towards the unknown, or painful suffering, or certain behavior and phenomena that the minds couldn't understand', or 'what is there, or not there, upon/after the death of this physical body or the end of this life existence', while making good use or full use of this fleeting momentary 'precious' existence of the body and mind when it is still available and possible, to be doing something beneficial to oneself and others and the surrounding environment, indiscriminately and unconditionally.

Such minds won't waste any effort, or energy, or life (what most mind referred as time) into useless common mingling, socializing, bonding, connecting, interacting, big talk, small talk, vain talk, chit-chatting, gossiping, slandering, condemning, criticizing, shaming, blaming, boasting, glorifying, worshiping, day dreaming, building castle in the air, regret, guilt, celebrating, mourning, grieving, plotting, scheming, politicking, conflict, argument, debate, envying, admiring, imitating, intimidating, interfering, fighting, hoarding, and so on.

The minds that haven't attained direct realization towards the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self, they might or might not be conditioned by certain belief and values to behave and desire in certain way and not in certain way, as well as what they 'want to' believe about 'what is there upon/after death', that they think and believe and evaluate as what highly mattered and meaningful. There is neither right nor wrong. Under such projection and anticipation towards the unknown or 'what is there upon and after death', some minds would refrain themselves from causing any harm unto anyone or anything, while some minds would cause harm unto themselves and others, due to the different degrees of understanding/non-understanding/misunderstanding, even under the similar common belief and values and practice, not to say, under the many different beliefs and values and practices.

That is why there is the highly practical and essential observation or practice of silence (Mauna), solitude, seclusion, being/living/focusing in the present, dispassion, desirelessness, non-grasping, non-association, non-craving, non-aversion, non-building castle in the air/day dreaming/wild imagination, withdrawing the outgoing tendency of the mind chasing after the objects of the senses, renunciation (non-engagement in worldly egoistic activities/affairs/relationships/connections/interactions/communications/aspirations), self-introspection, self-inquiry, concentration and meditation, to gather the passionate restless outgoing tendency/curiosity/random thoughts and desires/discontentment/inattentiveness/constant longing towards receiving attention, acknowledgement, agreement, consent, approval, recognition, understanding, friendship, companionship, interaction, or communication from others/power of influence and control seeking and gathering/possession hoarding and wealth accumulation, a.k.a. the restless thought current, to be concentrating at one particular point of focus/attentiveness/concentration for a prolonged duration, that will eventually and effortlessly turn into meditation (silence/clarity of mind/stillness of the mind or thought current).

The engagement in all kinds of regular persistent physical and mental practice are useful and highly mattered, until the mind attains direct self realization towards the truth of everything under clarity or quiet state of mind, where the conscious mind under the absence of the idea of 'I'/the ego, is resting in peace upon the selfless timeless attributeless universal consciousness that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, where the mind can be attending or engaging in some activities, or not, and spending energy or effort onto doing/creating/constructing/sowing/learning/teaching/sharing something, or not, but there is needless to have any form of interaction, or connectivity, or communication, or mutual understanding, or response and reaction with any others.

This is similar to the minds that are being referred as autistic.

They can be learning and performing all kinds of activities/actions selflessly and egolessly, without the need of responding or reacting to anyone, or to be interacting and communicating with anyone, or to gain attention, reaction, appreciation, understanding, agreement, recognition, acknowledgement, liking, love, support, respect, approval, praise and compliment, encouragement, friendship, relationship, companionship, connection, power of influence or control, and etc.

They don't need any encouragement or praise from anyone to motivate them for anything and for being what they are, as they are. They don't respond or react to the presence and absence of encouragement or discouragement/praise or criticism/likes and dislikes/agreements and disagreements about anything from anyone.

They don't interfere with (judge/discriminate/expect) all and everything being what they are, as they are. They don't intentionally go around disturbing any others, but the others are greatly 'disturbed' by their silence and aloneness, or non-sociable, non-interaction, and non-communication.

They are naturally turning inward, instinctively self-introspecting, self-investigating, self-inquiring, or self-learning, which is the highest power of learning, knowing, reasoning, and understanding.

They can be highly intelligent and creative and talented and skillful in certain things or many things, but they are not seeking success/name and fame/power of influence and control, or response and reaction, attention, acknowledgment, recognition, praise, understanding, approval, consent, opinion, appreciation, liking, support, friendship, or anything, from anyone.

They are dispassionate but not emotionless, and they perceive or feel or recognize the different sensations of pleasantness and unpleasantness/comfort and discomfort, and they might express feelings and emotions as they are, while not necessarily in the way that most minds would express the different feelings and emotions in certain way respectively.

They don't have the 'common' and 'normal' tendency to interfere with/influence/control/manipulate all the others being what they are, as they don't need to digest/understand/react/respond towards any unnecessary inputs, or the different random and fleeting thoughts/feelings/emotions/actions/reactions/behaviors/understanding and non-understanding/agreements and disagreements/likes and dislikes of anyone.

Just as all the selfless cells in the physical body are performing their respective activity/duty/function selflessly and egolessly for being what they are, as they are.

* Selflessness - The truth of everything, where there is no existence of a permanent independent infinite immortal individual self existence of a unique individual identity/soul/spirit/consciousness that exists in any names and forms, regardless of living organisms or non-living objects, that are all selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self

* Egolessness or 'I'lessness - The absence of the idea of 'I', or the ego, or the conscious individual self acknowledgement in the selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting mind or the thinking faculty of the selfless living organisms

'Normal' minds referred autistic minds as 'abnormal', or 'unhealthy', or 'something wrong' because the autistic minds are basically and naturally functioning under the absence of the ego/the idea of 'I'/the conscious individual self acknowledgement and egoism, or the absence of the sense of separateness between 'I' and 'others' or 'not I', and hence, the autistic minds don't behave 'normally' the same as the minds that are functioning 'normally' under the presence and influence of conscious individual self acknowledgment (the ego or the idea of 'I') that gives rise to the sense of separateness between 'I' and 'others' or 'not I', that gives rise to 'relationship', or 'connection', or 'bonding', or 'interaction and communication', or 'corresponding', or 'mingling', or 'socializing', under the influence of the ego/the idea of 'I'/the conscious individual self acknowledgement and egoism of grasping, attachment, identification, craving and aversion, judgment, comparison, and expectation/anticipation/projection, where the many 'normal functioning' passionate egoistic minds, including enthusiastic scientists or biologists, cannot understand what is going on in the minds that are functioning under the absence of the ego and egoism, that are naturally and effortlessly resting within, or internalized, or focused within.

They think and understand and say that the autistic minds cannot pick up, or learn, or develop, or understand certain things like all the other 'normal functioning' minds, but actually it is the 'normal' individual self acknowledging egoistic impure restless minds that are the ones that cannot understand or comprehend the minds that are functioning under the absence of the ego and egoism, that are devoid of the sense of separateness and possessiveness, egoistic grasping, attachment, identification, association, connection, relationship, desire of craving and aversion, judgment, comparison, expectation, and all kinds of unnecessary evitable impurities and restlessness, of what the 'normal functioning' minds referred as 'normal' and 'healthy' function, activity, action/reaction, and behavior.

The autistic minds are indeed showing the world of passionate egoistic outgoing restless human minds about the truth of selflessness in all kinds of names and forms, where living organisms can be existing and functioning selflessly as well as egolessly under the absence of the ego/the idea of 'I' or the conscious individual self acknowledgement and egoism.

The world of many diversities will definitely have more peace and harmony and have less unnecessary unrest and conflicts if most minds are being born autistic genetically and biologically, or devoid of the ego and egoism naturally and effortlessly. Similarly, if more and more 'normal' egoistic impure restless passionate minds practice yoga and meditation diligently, and render the selfless impermanent limited and conditional egoistic impure restless modification of the mind to become quiet or silent, devoid of the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, and restlessness, the world of diverse individuals and diverse communities will definitely and naturally have more peace and harmony.

There is the absence of the ego and egoism in the autistic minds 'genetically', 'biologically', 'physically', 'mentally', 'naturally', and 'effortlessly', which is exactly the ultimate goal of all kinds of yoga and/or buddhism practice under different lineages/styles/schools/paths/gurus/teachings/practices, but with the one same goal of to be consciously and diligently quieting and purifying the restless thought current, by eradicating restlessness and all kinds of impurities via the annihilation of the idea of 'I' and egoism from the selfless impermanent limited and conditional modification of the mind, a.k.a. the annihilation of the veil of ignorance and the consequences/by-products of ignorance.

However, that (the absence of the ego and egoism) is being referred as a form of 'mental deformity', or 'abnormality', or 'unhealthiness', or 'madness', or 'negativity', in the world of ignorance and egoism, where the many passionate egoistic impure restless minds are 'naturally' functioning 'normally' under the presence and influence of the idea of 'I, egoism, impurities, and restlessness, where there are so much unnecessary evitable violence, discrimination, dissatisfaction, discontentment, distraction, disappointment, hurt, offensiveness, defensiveness, argument, conflict, fighting, unrest, resentment, selfishness, possessiveness, greed, aspiration, ambition, self-righteousness, anger, hatred, jealousy, envy, self-esteem and self-worth, pride and shame, guilt, regret, fear, worry, loneliness, boredom, lies, hypocrisy, justification, dishonesty, prejudice, discrimination, self blame, blaming others, slandering, back-biting, politicking, exploitation, plotting, all kinds of corruption, invasion, intrusion, interference, oppression, self harm, harming others and the surrounding environment, and so on, in the passionate egoistic impure restless minds that also contributing unrest, disturbance, and conflicts into the surrounding environment. Completely peaceless within and without.

And the 'normal' minds referred such ignorance and common ignorant behaviors, actions, reactions, interactions, relationships, connections, affairs, or activities of the 'normal' minds, as something 'normal' and 'healthy'.

The rare and precious minds, either being born autistic (absence of the ego and egoism as well as internalized/focused within) biologically, naturally, and effortlessly as it is, or not being born autistic but are functioning under the presence and influence of the ego or the idea of 'I', while out of conscious awareness being aware of the restless/ignorant/distracted/disturbed suffering peaceless state of mind, and having intense yearning to be free from all that, to be consciously making effort to be silent and quiet, by turning inward or internalized/focused within through conscious freewill and self effort via certain practices and observations to be eradicating the idea of 'I' and egoism that gives rise to all kinds of impurities and restlessness/distraction that feeds and empowers the veil of ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, these minds don't need to have any particular direction or goal, or hanging onto any kind of faith or belief and values, in order to keep them busy focusing onto working and reaching that particular direction or goal, in order to avoid engaging in many other activities that could be harmful to oneself and others and the surrounding environment.

All these self internalized minds won't be engaging in any form of activities that are deliberately or intentionally to be harming oneself and others and the surrounding environment, under the presence of one-pointedness or stillness or quietness, that gives rise to clarity of thinking and reasoning, correct understanding, wisdom, absolute knowledge, and unconditional peace, in silence, a.k.a. under the absence of the veil of ignorance, a.k.a. the idea of 'I'/the ego, egoism, impurities, and restlessness.

That is why the autistic minds are being in the most comfortable state when they are being alone by themselves, not being 'disturbed' or 'stimulated' by any kind of unnecessary boundless inputs that are being ceaselessly generated by the many 'normal' minds that are so restless/puzzled/ignorant/egoistic/impure/passionate/discontented/control freak. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Meanwhile, the 'normal' egoistic restless passionate minds desire to 'change' or 'heal' the autistic minds, that are naturally quiet, peaceful, at ease, or comfortable being alone by themselves, while being 'anxious', 'disturbed', or 'unease' when they are being 'force feed' or 'disturbed' by so much ongoing unnecessary inputs or actions and reactions of the surrounding 'normal' egoistic impure restless minds, especially when there are many 'normal' minds around them aspired to force/change/heal/rehabilitate them to become 'normal', or to behave 'normally' like them.

The 'normal' minds want to interfere with and change the quiet and internalized minds because they don't like the reality of they can't understand the quiet minds where they can't control/influence/manipulate the minds that are quiet/internalized, and that don't interact/communicate with them or don't respond/react/acknowledge towards them and their desire of desiring/controlling/influencing/manipulating all and everything to be the way that they desire.

The selfless mind is fully focusing on doing its own thing quietly and attentively, alone, by oneself, in peace.

But the 'normal' minds/parents/friends/teachers/doctors/scientists in the surrounding environment that are extremely clueless, puzzled, and confused, "Look at me here. I am talking to you. I care for you. I love you. I want to help you. Please say and express something. Tell me what are you thinking and how are you feeling. Why don't you respond or communicate with me at all? I can't understand, and I can't help you, if you don't respond to me or don't communicate with me. It is not good and unhealthy if you cannot and don't mingle and socialize, interact and communicate with some others."

If the mind can be opened, it will start to see and understand all that. If the mind wants to see and understand the mind that is silence and internalized, that doesn't respond towards or interact/communicate with the others in the surrounding environment, the mind can learn about Vipassana practice by attending Vipassana silent meditation retreat, and it will know that there is nothing wrong, or abnormal, or unhealthy about the precious silence, quietness, solitude, seclusion, dispassion, internalization, inputs cut-off, non-eye contacting, non-expressing, non-communicating, non-mingling, non-socializing, and non-interacting, but it is absolutely highly beneficial to the over-all well-being of oneself and others and the surrounding environment.

Inquire the truth of everything, and be free.

The countless individual minds are many and different, the timeless universal consciousness is one and same

Just as the paths/lineages of yoga and buddhism are many and different, but the self inquiry and self realization is one and same, similarly, there had been, and there are many different individual selfless physical structures (all sentient living organisms, not just limited to human beings) with their own respective individual selfless modification of the mind, that had been or are existing and functioning under many different conditions, qualities, traits, personalities, states, desires, behaviors, actions and reactions, manifested under different time (timing), space (location), and causation (cause and effect), are many and uniquely different from one another, but the selfless consciousness that gives rise to different states of consciousness and conscious awareness to all the countless different individual minds that had ceased existing/functioning and/or are existing/functioning, in NOW, is the one same timeless attributeless selfless consciousness.

There had been, and there are countless individual minds existing and functioning under each of the countless individual physical structures ceaselessly arising, changing, and passing away at their own respective cause and pace under different time, space, and causation, while the timeless selfless consciousness that pervades all and everything within and without throughout the infinite space, doesn't come and go, or change.

The selfless existence and function of the many different individual selfless minds are non-independent (depending on the selfless support of the selfless energy and elements to be existing and functioning), impermanent (ceaselessly changing), limited, and conditional.

They are non-self (their impermanent dependent limited and conditional existence and function doesn't even belong to themselves, not to say, all and everything that the minds think and believe that belong to them).

They have a beginning of existence and an end of existence, they are limited and conditioned by time, space, and causation, and it is limited and conditioned by discriminative and assertive or subjective functions/modifications of the limited and conditional perception/cognition/memory/intellect/thinking/feeling/emotion/action and reaction/desire/self-identification or self-acknowledgement (the idea of 'I' or the ego, that gives rise to separateness and egoism, that give rise to all kinds of impurities and restlessness - The veil of ignorance).

The selfless universal consciousness is independent, changeless, unlimited, and unconditional. It is beginningless and endless (unlimited by time or impermanent changes and activities), it is all pervading (unlimited by the limitation of space that exists in all kinds of names and forms), and it is unborn (non-manifested), nameless, formless, attributeless, or substanceless (unlimited by causation - cause and effect).

Just like the infinite space is timeless, attributeless, and unborn/non-manifested, the selfless universal consciousness is infinite, timeless, attributeless, and unborn/non-manifested.

Everything that are manifested in the infinite space under specific qualities of names and forms (matters/molecules/cells/atoms/protons/neutrons/neurons/electrons/elements/light/heat/gas/energy/air/water/minerals/living organisms/objects/planets/stars/suns/galaxies/universe/world/atmospheres/environments/conditions) are all limited and conditioned by time, space, and causation. But the infinite space is untouched, uncontaminated, undamaged, unhurt, or undetermined by all kinds of manifestations that come and go. The space doesn't increase or decrease regardless of all kinds of names and forms arising and passing away.

The selfless universal consciousness is the timeless selfless silent witness towards (the indiscriminate/non-judgmental/non-interfering imprint of) all kinds of selfless manifestations. It is untouched, uncontaminated, undamaged, unhurt, or undetermined by the selfless manifestations of all kinds of names and forms that are limited and conditioned by time, space, and causation, that existed/exist, ceaselessly changing, and had/will be ceased existing, in NOW.

Just as the function of memory itself is uncontaminated or undetermined by the contents of memory, and it is indiscriminate/non-judgmental/non-interference towards the contents of the memory.

The countless different individual selfless minds of the countless different individual physical structures functioning under the many different impermanent qualities/conditions/states/limitations might be pure or impure, might be kind or unkind, might be good or evil, might be constructive or destructive, might be intelligent or non-intelligent, might be knowledgeable or non-knowledgeable, might be enjoying or suffering, and so on, and ceaselessly changing, but the selfless universal consciousness that pervades all kinds of names and forms and gives rise to the different states of consciousness in all minds to be unconscious (complete resting/deep sleep/coma), semi-conscious, and fully conscious towards themselves and the surrounding environment, enabling all the countless different individual minds to perceive/experience/know/think/reason/understand/remember/desire/behave/act/react in their own particular way at their own particular cause and effect (unconsciously/semi-consciously/consciously), is untouched, undetermined, uncontaminated, undamaged, unhurt, or unchanged by all that.

All the countless different individual selfless minds have their own each and particular personal imprint (limited and conditional individual memory storage) of their own particular personal and collective existence/function/impermanent changes/causes and effects/experiences during their limited and conditional momentary existence and function under different time, space, and causation, while the timeless selfless universal consciousness that pervades all and everyone and everything, is the timeless selfless silent witness towards the all time manifestations of all kinds of names and forms ceaselessly arising, changing, and passing away, or the all time endless sum total imprints of the all time momentary existence/function/impermanent changes/causes and effects/experiences of all and everyone and everything (all kinds of sentient/non-sentient living beings and non-living objects) in the infinite space.

The selfless universal consciousness is selfless, neither self nor non-self.

It doesn't belong to anyone or anything.

It's not 'my consciousness', 'your consciousness', 'our consciousness', 'their consciousness', 'its consciousness'.

The body is not 'I'. The 'I' is not the body.

The mind is not 'I'. The 'I' is not the mind.

All and everything that are manifesting in the body and mind, are not 'I'.

There is no 'I' in anything (All and everything are selfless).

The 'I' (the ego) is merely an idea or thought that manifests in the mind in a continuous stream of ceaseless ideas/thoughts of 'I' or self acknowledgement/conscious self awareness, ceaselessly arising, changing, and passing away, manifesting/transitioning under different states.

The momentary selfless impermanent limited and conditional existence and function of the body and mind and the ideas/thoughts/modifications/the ego/the intellect/the cognition/the memory of the mind, are not 'I'.

All are selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, that only existing and functioning/manifesting while ceaselessly changing/decaying/disintegrating under the selfless support/influence of the selfless energy and elements for a momentary limited duration.

The minds are not the selfless universal consciousness. The selfless universal consciousness is not the minds.

Regardless of what or who the minds think and identify as they are and are not, regardless of what the minds think or don't think, believe or disbelieve, behave or don't behave, understand or don't understand, all and everything will change and pass away.

The selfless universal consciousness that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, is always there as it is.

Just by reading or knowing this knowledge doesn't liberate the mind from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance.

Quiet the mind.

Eliminate the idea of 'I' and egoism.

Purify. Meditate.

Inquire the truth of everything.

Attain direct self realization, and be free.

The corrupted impure egoistic restless selfless intentionless modification of the mind

The corrupted impure egoistic restless selfless intentionless modification of the mind, is the IGNORANCE that is being mentioned in the teachings of yoga and/or buddhism, that hinders the selfless thinking and acting mind to know itself, of what it is, as it is.

This IGNORANCE is not about non-intelligent or low intelligence, non-educated or low education, non-knowledgeable or low knowledge, stupidity, or laziness, as being translated literary under the worldly knowledge and understanding.

This IGNORANCE exists in all minds, including the minds that are highly intelligent, highly educated, highly knowledgeable, extremely smart, and extremely hardworking, except the minds that are free from the veil or the influence of IGNORANCE, that know Thyself.

This IGNORANCE is the root cause of why the mind perceives all kinds of evitable and inevitable suffering, being determined or over-powered by the mind perception towards a momentary mortal worldly life existence that is selfless, impermanent, limited, and conditional, of experiencing all kinds of selfless impermanent limited and conditional ties and connections, relationships, affairs, objects, activities, interactions, conditions, and situations, that are pleasant or unpleasant, desirable or undesirable, agreeable or disagreeable, enjoyable or painful suffering, that are non-self, that are not in the control of the mind to be or not to be in certain way.

Ignorance is neither good nor bad. There is nothing wrong, bad, negative, weak, shortcoming, or to be shameful, humiliating, condemning, or criticizing towards the presence of ignorance in the modification of the mind. However, under the influence of ignorance, the idea of 'I', egoism, and impurities, the minds would perceive or interpret that as something wrong, bad, negative, weakness, shortcoming, shameful, humiliating, or condemn and criticism deserving.

Upon the annihilation of ignorance, upon the mind knows itself, upon the knower knows the knowledge of Thyself, upon the experiencer knows the experiences, the mind transcends all kinds of evitable and inevitable suffering, even if the life existence is still what it is, selfless, impermanent, limited, and conditional, and all and everything are non-self, not in the control of the mind to be or not to be in certain way, where all and everything are governed by the nature's law of cause and effect.

The liberated mind under the presence of conscious awareness, devoid of the veil of ignorance, can be performing or not performing certain action that would give rise to the respective consequences of action/inaction, under the presence of correct understanding and self control (under the presence of conscious freewill, not being over-powered by the selfless intentionless mind stuff).

To annihilate the corruption in the modification of the mind, a.k.a. the corrupted thinking and behavior pattern, impurities, egoism, the idea of 'I', and restlessness (the veil of ignorance) from the selfless intentionless modification of the mind, is to know and uproot the root cause that gives rise to the corruption, or the corrupted thinking and behavior pattern, impurities, egoism, the idea of 'I', and restlessness.

What is the root cause that gives rise to the veil of ignorance that arises/appears/exists in the selfless intentionless modification of the mind?

The limited and conditional inherited genetic traits, personality, characteristics under the influence of the selfless intentionless survival instinct, as well as the limited and conditional inherited and adopted worldly passionate impure egoistic beliefs, ideas, values, and practices, that are influencing the thinking and behavior pattern to be and not to be in certain way. Both inherited and adopted influences are limited and conditional, selfless and impermanent, that is constantly evolving either unconsciously (absence of freewill) or consciously (presence of freewill), as well as both consciously and unconsciously.

The unconscious evolution might be more or less dominant than the conscious evolution, and vice versa, and can be reversible.

The liberated mind transcends (not being determined by) what is inevitable under the truth of selflessness, impermanence, non-self, and limitation of being limited by the presence and absence of condition, of the selfless impermanent limited and conditional momentary mortal life existence that is not in its control, of forming, decaying and disintegrating, of existing, decaying, and ceased existing.

The liberated mind also can transcend (not being over-powered by) the limited and conditional inherited genetic qualities, personality, and characteristics under the influence of the selfless intentionless survival instinct, that is being what it is, and evolves as it is.

Not to say,

The liberated mind also can transcend or not being determined by the limited and conditional inherited and/or adopted worldly passionate impure egoistic beliefs, ideas, values, and practices, and hence, not being over-powered by the limited and conditional thinking and behavior pattern, but having the conscious freewill, correct understanding, and self-control, to be performing or not performing certain action that would give rise to the respective consequences of action/inaction, that would be benefiting oneself and others and the surrounding environment, that would help other minds to have a starting point or direction to be reflecting/inquiring upon, to be engaging in the process of eliminating the idea of 'I' and egoism and impurities, purifying the intellectual reasoning power and understanding, modifying the thinking and behavior pattern, and quieting the restless modification of the mind, without desire, intention, or expectation to change or control anything or anyone to be or not to be in certain way.

The minds, including the minds that are highly intelligent, highly educated, highly knowledgeable, extremely smart, and extremely hardworking, that think and believe, and conclude that, "There is absolutely/completely no freewill to be transcending all these," that is because they still haven't attained the direct self realization towards the absolute knowledge that is always there, of knowing Thyself. They might have some partial understanding towards selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditioning, and non-self, but they need to attain direct self realization towards all that, to know Thyself.

That is due to the thinking and acting faculty is identifying and associating with the subjects that it is inquiring. The thinking and acting faculty is unwittingly identifying and associating with the cognition/the existing knowledge, information, ideas, beliefs, values, and practices, the intellect/the reasoning/the understanding, the thoughts/the thinking, the sensations, the feelings and emotions, and the action of inquiring. Just like the investigator is investigating towards all and everyone and everything, except itself.

The mind is reasoning/inquiring towards the truth of all and everything, but it didn't inquire towards the truth of the existing accumulated knowledge and understanding in itself, of what it thinks it knows and understands that is influencing the intellectual reasoning power to be reasoning/inquiring towards all and everything in certain way.

That is why the highly essential of self inquiry to be inquiring towards the truth of 'I', or "Who am I?", or "What is the self identity of 'I' that the thinking in the mind thinks and believes and identifies as 'I'?"

That is why the highly importance of engaging in the observation of renunciation, dispassion, solitude, seclusion, and silence. To move the mind away from the continuous influence of the worldly passionate egoistic ideas, habits, affairs, activities, connections, communications, and interactions (inputs and outputs), that ceaselessly empower the idea of 'I' and egoism, impurities and restlessness, that hinders the mind from performing self inquiry to be inquiring towards everything about itself, towards its selfless, impermanent, limited, and conditional existence and function being part of the selfless bodily functions/mechanisms of the selfless, impermanent, limited, and conditional physical body, of having a momentary mortal selfless, impermanent, limited, and conditional life existence perceiving and experiencing all kinds of names and forms, that are non-self, that are not in its control or desire to be or not to be in certain way.

There is no permanent independent self existence of 'I' existing to be undergoing selfless impermanent changes, or to be identifying with the selfless impermanent limited and conditional body and mind as 'I', and there are ceaseless non-conscious selfless impermanent physical and mental activity happening throughout the selfless body and mind, it doesn't mean that the selfless thinking and acting mind doesn't have freewill to make conscious choices and perform actions that can influence the conscious and unconscious evolution of the body and mind. But this knowledge and understanding has to come from the mind itself to attain direct self-realization towards the truth of selflessness and what 'selfless action' is, as well as what is 'the mind perception of a selfless impermanent limited and conditional worldly life existence' and what is 'ignorance'?

Under the influence of ignorance and under the absence of correct understanding, the mind perceives the perception of 'being not free', as it is being determined and disturbed by the selfless impermanent changes that are not necessarily pleasant, desirable, agreeable, or enjoyable, and it is being bound by the actions and consequences of actions governed by the nature's law of cause and effect.

There is neither right nor wrong. The minds just need to keep inquiring under a pure, calm, and quiet state of mind, devoid of the idea of 'I'/grasping/attachment/identification/craving/aversion/comparison/judgment/expectation, not being influenced by the existing understanding and accumulated knowledge and information in the mind stuff to reason and judge, or to analyze and conclude. But, just to see/witness/observe things as they are, under the presence of the selfless intentionless conscious awareness.

Only upon the silence of the modification of the mind, where there is the absence of mental actions/reactions even just for a few moments (the selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty paused functioning momentary) under the presence of the selfless intentionless conscious awareness, but merely being aware of/witnessing/observing the object of awareness as it is, that gives rise to the precious glimpse towards the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditioning, and non-self, in all and everything, including the mind that perceives suffering, that has the intense yearning towards knowledge/liberation/freedom/peace, that is performing the yoga and/or buddhism practice, that is purifying and quieting the modification of the mind, that is inquiring the truth of everything, that attains direct self-realization towards the truth of everything, and that transcends the evitable and inevitable mind stuff or suffering.

The selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty of the selfless physical body is impermanent, limited, and conditional, that will decay and disintegrate, that will ceased functioning and existing.

Without the presence of the selfless intentionless conscious awareness, there is no conscious perceiving, knowing, recognizing, intellectual reasoning, discriminating, experiencing, learning, understanding, thinking, feeling, desiring, acting, reacting, enjoying, or suffering. Under the presence of the selfless intentionless conscious awareness, the selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty of the selfless physical body is consciously perceiving, knowing, recognizing, intellectual reasoning, discriminating, experiencing, learning, understanding, thinking, feeling, desiring, acting, reacting, enjoying, or suffering, through the organs of the senses and the organs of actions, of the physical body.

Under the presence or absence of the conscious awareness, the selfless mind perceives/experiences or doesn't perceive/experience pleasurable enjoyment or painful suffering, but the selfless conscious awareness doesn't enjoy or suffer.

All are selfless. All are just what they are. All are neither good nor bad, neither right nor wrong, neither positive nor negative.

There is no good or evil, no right or wrong, no positive or negative in the selfless intentionless thoughtless actionless changeless timeless causeless attributeless conscious awareness. The conscious awareness deriving from the selfless universal consciousness (the timeless selfless silent witness) is just what it is. It is not being contaminated, or determined, or disturbed, or damaged, or destroyed by the ceaseless changes (the limitation of time, space, and causation/the restlessness of births and deaths of ceaseless thoughts arising, changing, and passing away transitioning in different realms/states of mind) in the names and forms that are selfless, impermanent, limited, and conditional, that are just being what they are, neither good nor bad, neither right nor wrong, neither positive nor negative.

The different qualities in the names and forms are just what they are, neither good nor bad, neither right nor wrong, neither positive nor negative. These qualities appeared to be having the quality/attribute of good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative, are being projected by the selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty unto all kinds of names and forms, as well as being perceived/recognized by the selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty as something good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative, based on the existing inherited and/or adopted beliefs, ideas, values, and practices in the selfless intentionless modification of the mind, under the presence of the selfless intentionless conscious awareness.

Similarly, there is no good or evil, no right or wrong, no positive or negative in the selfless impermanent existence and function of the body and mind, even though the selfless existence and function of the body and mind is limited, conditional, impermanent, and momentary, where it can be functioning efficiently or inefficiently, consciously or instinctively/unconsciously, and it is constantly changing, and eventually stops functioning.

However, under the presence and influence of ignorance in the selfless intentionless modification of the mind, the selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty and its selfless intentionless modification of the mind, give rise to all kinds of impure egoistic mental ideas, desires, actions, and reactions under the influence of instinctive/unconscious urges and/or conscious choices, that turn into physical activities/actions/reactions/behaviors, that give rise to the respective consequences, and hence, the body and mind and its ideas, desires, actions, reactions, activities, and behaviors, appeared to be having the quality/attribute of good or evil, right or wrong, positive or negative.

The selfless intentionless conscious awareness is not being contaminated, or determined, or changed, or damaged, or destroyed by the objects of awareness, or the presence and absence of what the mind perceives, recognizes, reasons, discriminates, thinks, believes, and judges as the quality/attribute of good or evil, right or wrong, positive or negative, even though it exists being part of the selfless functions of the selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting faculty.

Similarly, the selfless function or mechanism of the mind is also neither good nor bad, but it appears to be something good or bad, under the absence or presence of the veil of ignorance.
