Swami Sivananda's words of wisdom - Concentration and Meditation (2)

Practice concentration of the mind. Fix the mind on one object, on one idea. Withdraw the mind again and again when it runs away from Lakshya and fix it there. Do not allow the mind to create hundreds of thought-forms. Introspect and watch the mind carefully. Live alone. Avoid company. Do not mix. This is important.

训练集中意识。固定在一个物件,一种理念。当意识出离内心时,一次又一次地把它带回和维持在那里。不要让意识创造数以百计的思想形式。内省和小心看守意识。独居。避免同伴。不要混杂社交人群。这是很重要的。
