The world of many diversities doesn't belong to anyone or anything

Neither the world of many diversities and communities nor the planet earth nor anything in this infinite space belong to anyone or anything.

All land and space, the nature and natural resources, and all and everything in anywhere in the universe don't belong to anyone or anything.

All and everyone and everything are merely existing momentarily and sharing this infinite space that doesn't belong to anyone and anything.

'Discrimination', 'separateness', 'borders', 'documentation', 'emigration', 'immigration', 'nationality', 'citizenship', 'legalization', 'criminalization', 'authorization', or 'legal and illegal immigrants' don't exist, as well as all and everyone are free to be existing, living, surviving, moving, and travelling everywhere in the world that doesn't belong to anyone and anything, until different communities claimed possession, ownership, and authorization towards the land and space, the nature and natural resources, and all and everything in this world on planet earth that doesn't belong to anyone and anything, while create lots of story telling and justification (all kinds of beliefs and values) to justify and validate all that (all those egoistic practices that go against nature or the truth of everything as it is).

Unfortunately, even under the era of higher advanced science and technology, of higher education and development, most human beings are being brought up, educated, and empowered under certain beliefs and values to have strong attachment and identification, possessiveness and the sense of belonging, pride and patriotism, and the sense of separateness and discrimination towards what they were being conditioned to think and believe towards 'That is the way of the world', 'That is how things should be done', 'That is who they are', 'That is what belongs to them', 'That is where they belong to', 'That they need to be patriotic to protect what they belong to and what belongs to them', 'That they need approval and recognition and authorization to be who they are and for all and everything (to be born, to be alive, to be existing, to be what they are and not to be what they are not, to think or don't think, to believe or don't believe, to feel or don't feel, to behave or don't behave, to express or don't express, to be living, and to be stop living or to die)', 'That they are different from and more superior than all the others that are not one of them', 'That they have the rights or more rights to be existing, living, surviving, moving, and travelling in certain area of land and space', and 'All the others that are not one of them don't have the rights or have less rights to be existing, living, surviving, moving, and travelling in certain area of land and space that they think and believe that belong to them'.

How ridiculous is that, the authorities, the law makers, the armies, and the soldiers have 'the rights' to hurt and kill all and everyone and destroy all and everything, causing all kinds of unnecessary difficulties and painful suffering unto many innocent lives in the world that doesn't belong to anyone and anything, while all and everyone doesn't even have the rights or freedom to die at one's own wish, that it is illegal and criminalized and punishable for want to stop living due to the existence of all kinds of unnecessary difficulties and painful suffering that exist because of the existence of all kinds of man made greed, selfishness, possessiveness, discrimination, separateness, bullying, cruelty, violence, and madness deriving from ignorance, or because people appreciate and respect all lives and everything, and they don't want to be forced to be engaging in violence to hurt and kill and destroy all and everyone and everything? How ridiculous is that many kind people wish to stop living because they are being forced to become armies and soldiers that hurt and kill others and cause hurtful destruction unto all and everything, and they will be criticized, condemned, and punished for don't want to hurt and kill others?

The many different leaders/authorities/law makers says, "We are here to protect our people and our world," while they are doing many things to hurt the people and the world that don't belong to anyone or anything as much as possible, either intentionally (wittingly) or unintentionally (unwittingly).

The children also don't belong to the parents, not to say, the diverse communities don't belong to anyone or anything.

Certain ambitious leaders/authorities misused the meanings of oneness, non-separateness, non-discrimination, and non-borders, or 'all are one', or 'we are one big family', via the practice of unification/non-diversity/non-individualism/non-independence through manipulation/force/threat/intimidation/oppression/suppression/invasion, by disallowing and criminalizing and destroying diversities and all kinds of freedom, while being ambitious to claim possession/ownership and authorization/control over the entire world of many diversities and communities as well as land, space, and natural resources that doesn't belong to anyone or anything to be governed/controlled under their own particular leadership or authority, to be materializing, supporting, and empowering their particular ambitious vision of an unify non-diverse world under their particular way of thinking and belief, values and desires.

Complete madness.

The world doesn't have to be like this.

Inquire towards all the teachings of yoga and buddhism

All the existing teachings of yoga and buddhism, that are available under certain names and forms, regardless of authentic or contaminated, are existing for the minds to have a guidance, or a direction, or a subject to perform self inquiry to be inquiring towards the truth of everything.

There is neither right nor wrong in all kinds of authentic or contaminated teachings, where many of the teachings are contaminated by the many worldly passionate egoistic impure ideas, beliefs, values, desires, and practices.

The upmost important teaching and practice, is the engagement in the mind purification process (annihilating the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, and restlessness, a.k.a. the veil of ignorance) to be preparing the mind for performing self inquiry to be inquiring towards the truth of everything, free from the influence of worldly egoistic ideas, beliefs, values, practices, or desires, to be attaining direct self realization towards the truth of all kinds of existing teachings and practices in the world of yoga and buddhism, as well as in all kinds of existing beliefs/ideas/values/practices/desires/inspirations/aspirations in the world of passion and egoism, regardless of whether it is the truth as it is, or it is false information/incorrect understanding/misinterpretation/lies/story telling/fairy tales/myths/hypocrisy/justification/manipulation/propaganda, and etc, under a purified and calmed/quiet/focused mind, that enables the mind to see things as they are, where all and everything (true or untrue) are just what they are, neither good nor bad, neither right nor wrong, neither positive nor negative, which will allow the mind to be free, to be liberated from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance.

A calmed and quiet and focused mind (attentiveness), is also neither good nor bad, neither right nor wrong, neither positive nor negative, as even a calmed and quiet and focused mind might not be free from evil intention and generating harmful activity, under the undisturbed and focused state of mind.

There might still be the idea of 'I' and egoism in the modification of the mind being conditioned by certain worldly egoistic impure ideas, beliefs, values, practices, or desires, to behave, act and react, even though the mind can be in a momentary state of calmness, quietness, focus, or attentiveness.

There are many well-trained soldiers are performing their task or duty of engaging in violence fighting and killing and destruction unto many other lives and things, as well as selfish power greedy ambitious prideful politicians and world leaders, or even highly intelligent and knowledgeable ambitious scientists, could be passionately engaging in many creative ideas, propaganda, manipulation, activities, dealings, and affairs that involved all kinds of selfishness, cruelty, and violence, under intense attentiveness of a calmed and quiet and focused state of mind, directing the entire energy and attention onto one single object or issue.

Similarly, intense hatred is also a form of intense attentiveness towards the object of hatred. The mind is focusing fully unto something that it hates very much, as well as focusing unto the planning about how it can hurt and destroy the object of hatred, undisturbed by all the other things and happenings in the surrounding environment.

That's why the importance of the basic correct understanding (the seed of wisdom and kindness), right effort, right attitude, and right attentiveness.

That's why the importance of non-blind believing, non-blind following, non-blind practicing, non-blind agreeing/disagreeing, non-blind glorifying, non-blind admiring, and non-blind propagating.

That's why the importance of dispassion, renunciation, solitude, seclusion, silence, Satsanga (wise company) and Asanga (aloneness/devoid of company), mental and emotional independence.

That's why the importance of "I don't know and don't understand many things, and I am confused and not sure about the truth of many things," regardless of the continuous accumulation of all kinds of knowledge and experiences, and not "I know something or many things. I am highly educated and knowledgeable. I have many experiences. I did a lot of research. Needless to lecture me about what I know and don't know."

Doubt, regardless of doubting oneself or doubting others and everything, is something highly essential in yoga and buddhism, as it activates the process of self inquiry to be inquiring towards the truth of everything, to attain direct self realization towards absolute knowledge (the truth of everything as it is), and to know Thyself, be free from blind-believing, blind-following, blind-agreeing/disagreeing, blind-practicing, blind-glorifying, blind-admiring, and blind-propagating, however, it is being seen or referred as a form of badness, or wrongfulness, or weakness, or shortcoming, or failure, or low confidence/self-esteem, or lack of faith, or disobedience and disrespectfulness towards the existence of so called 'authority/superiority' which is the by-products of ignorance, or even 'sinful and punishable', under the many worldly egoistic impure beliefs, ideas, values, desires, and practices.

Similarly, to be able to step back and let go, or to not hurt others under any circumstances, is the greatest strength in yoga and buddhism, while it is being seen or referred as weakness, or humiliation, or failure, under the many worldly egoistic beliefs, ideas, values, desires, and practices.

This 'right' in the right effort, right attitude, and right attentiveness, is nothing to do with the right and wrong in the many different worldly egoistic ways of thinking, ideas, beliefs, values, and practices, or the right and the left or the center in the worldly politics and political parties.

It's about what promote wisdom (correct understanding) that gives rise to peace in oneself and in the surrounding environment, which is the highest essential or crucial supportive element for all kinds of names and forms that are selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, non-self, and momentary, to be sharing this space that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, without attachment, greed, possessiveness, separateness, or discrimination.

Just as all the different individual selfless cells/bodily structures/organs/systems/components in the selfless physical body that work together selflessly that allows the body to be existing and functioning as what it is. If each individual cell/bodily structure/organ/system/component is not selfless, but is functioning under the idea of 'I' and egoism, it will be exactly like what is going on in this world of human beings, where most minds are functioning under the idea of 'I' and egoism, and hence, the world is full of destructive hurtful activities against each other - complete man made disaster, or self destruction.

Even the most ignorant impure restless minds in the world, can also be free from ignorance.

These are the basic education for all humanity, for healthy minds, for responsible and understanding human beings, for healthy environment, for self independence, for happy parents, for happy children, for happy young people, for happy adults, for happy elders, for happy family, for happy relationships, for personal peace, for peaceful and harmonious community of diversity, for world peace. All these are inter-related to one another.

Selfishness

Most of the minds that are selfish, are not aware of themselves are being selfish, but, they would think and believe that themselves are not selfish at all, while they might be aware of and recognizing many others are being selfish. These minds are being selfish unintentionally and ignorantly.

The minds that are aware of themselves are being selfish, that is because they deliberately want to be selfish, for their own reasons, to cause disturbance, or unhappiness, or obstacle, or inconvenience, or annoyance, or pain, or injury, or failure, or damage, or destruction, or unrest, and etc, unto other people, intentionally and deliberately, out of ungratified desires, greed, dissatisfaction, disappointment, anger, hatred, jealousy, fear, unrest, the sense of self-righteousness, the sense of pride, the sense of superiority or inferiority, or any kind of impurities in their modification of the mind. These minds are being selfish intentionally and ignorantly, even more ignorant than those who are not aware of themselves are being selfish.

These minds are not peaceful being disturbed by something that they don't enjoy, don't desire, don't like, and don't agree with, and they don't want others to be peaceful as well.

Similarly, the minds that are ignorant, are not aware of themselves are being ignorant, especially the minds that might be highly educated, knowledgeable, talented, skillful, or accomplished in something or in many things.

The minds that are aware of ignorance in themselves, they might or might not have the yearning to be free from ignorance. There is neither right nor wrong. It's the freedom of all minds whether they want to be free from ignorance, or not.

The minds that are aware of ignorance in themselves, and that have the yearning towards knowledge/liberation/freedom/peace, to be free from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, are very precious in this world, as they can help themselves as well as maybe some others, to be free, to have correct understanding, to not hurt themselves and/or others.

"I don't like and don't want to be hurt by others. I don't like and don't desire others to be hurt by some others. I don't like and don't desire to hurt myself. I don't like and don't desire to hurt others. I might not be aware of myself is hurting myself and others. Now that I am aware of I have been hurting myself and others, I want to be free from hurting myself and others. I want to be free from what causing me to hurt myself and others."

That idea/thought/awareness/understanding is highly precious, as that initiates and powering the path towards self inquiry and self realization.

There is no need judgment, not to say, self punishment or repent, upon being aware of the selfishness, impurities, or ignorance in oneself. Let it go, and move on with that awareness/understanding, and keep practicing until the modification of the mind is purified, calmed, and quiet (clarity), without violence, without forcing, without judgment, without attachment, without identification, without craving, without aversion, without comparison, and without expectation, but never give up and keep going until the mind starts to see/know/realize the truth of itself under the absence of ignorance/hindrance a.k.a. under the presence of clarity.

Observe our own ceaseless actions/reactions/behaviors in everyday life, and see how much selfishness or ignorance in our actions/reactions/behaviors, either intentionally or unintentionally, out of anger, hatred, jealousy, pride, arrogance, fear, unrest, dissatisfaction, disappointment, unhappiness, frustration, irritation, bitterness, resentment, feelings of hurt/betrayed/being taken for granted/being exploited/being bullied/being insulted/being belittled/being threatened/being intimidated/being abandoned/being disapproved/being unappreciated/being unloved, the sense of low self-esteem, the sense of self-righteousness, possessiveness, self-protectiveness, and so on, that we were not aware of, until now, without judgment.

Without judgment, or non-judgment, alongside with non-attachment, non-identification, non-craving, non-aversion, non-comparison, and non-expectation, is highly important on the path of yoga and/or buddhism to be free from ignorance, to attain self realization, to transcend this selfless impermanent limited and conditional momentary life existence.

May all be free, be happy, be peaceful.

Letting go

What to be letting go?

Let go the idea of 'I' (the ego) and egoism of attachment, identification, desire of craving and aversion, possessiveness, comparison, judgment, and expectation, as well as all kinds of by-products that come along under the presence of the idea of 'I' and egoism, that give rise to all kinds worldly passionate egoistic ideas, beliefs, values, practices, activities, desires, visions, inspirations, aspirations, or ambitions, that give rise to all kinds of impurities and restlessness.

Let go the idea of 'I' and egoism doesn't mean that one doesn't love or be kind to oneself, or doesn't strive to improve and doesn't look after the well-being of oneself, while deliberately doing everything that would be damaging or hurtful unto oneself.

Let go all kinds worldly attachment and identification of family ties and connections doesn't mean that one abandons one's duty and responsibility towards those who are in some kind of ties and connections with oneself, or doesn't love and be kind to all of them, while deliberately doing everything that would be damaging or hurtful unto all of them.

Let go attachment towards the world doesn't mean that one doesn't look after the well-being of the world, while deliberately doing everything that would be damaging or hurtful unto the world.

It's about performing all one's duties and responsibilities towards looking after oneself and others and the world, without attachment, identification, desires of craving and aversion, possessiveness, comparison, judgment, and expectation.

It's about performing actions while renouncing the fruit of actions.

One is kind towards oneself, all and everyone, and everything, unconditionally, without attachment and identification or the sense of separateness, of 'myself' and 'others', of 'my family and friends' and 'not my family and friends', of 'my community' and 'not my community', of 'my belongings' and 'not my belongings'.

There is no "This is how much I give, and this is how much I deserve to receive in return."

The minds that don't understand the real meaning and practice of letting go, they would be in a state of selfishness, lovelessness, depression, loneliness, and meaninglessness, when they try to 'let go'.

The minds that understand, there is no selfishness, lovelessness, depression, loneliness, and meaninglessness, when they let go 'what I think is myself', all kinds of attachments and identifications, all kinds of ties and connections, and the world.

Inquire the truth of everything.

The world is everything, everything is the world

The world is all and everything. All and everything is the world.

The world doesn't own all and everything. All and everything don't own the world.

The world doesn't belong to anyone and anything. Everyone and everything don't belong to the world.

They are not separated from one another.

Out of ignorance and egoism, the ignorant egoistic minds claimed ownership, possession, and authorization towards the world.

The ignorant egoistic minds desire to make or control the world that they think and believe is theirs, to be and not to be in certain way in accordance to what they desire and don't desire.

All the different ignorant egoistic minds want to get rid of what they don't like, don't agree with, and don't desire from the world that doesn't belong to anyone and anything, while they don't want to be sharing this space that doesn't belong to anyone and anything with some others, and constantly fighting against one another in order to achieve their particular vision of the world that they desire it to be.

Similarly,

The selfless existence and function of a selfless physical body is made up of different selfless components that work together that enabling the selfless physical body to be existing and functioning as what it is, under the selfless support of the selfless supportive elements and energy.

Without the different selfless components, there is no selfless physical body, and vice versa.

Without the selfless supportive elements and energy, there is no selfless physical body existing and functioning as it is.

But if any of these selfless components are not selfless, but all are functioning under the influence of ignorance and egoism, where all the different components claimed ownership, possession, and authorization over the physical body, and they all want the physical body to be and not to be in certain way that is in accordance to the different desires and don't desires of all the different components, and that is exactly what is happening in this world of many diversities that doesn't belong to anyone and anything.

It's like,

The left hand doesn't agree with the right hand, and they are fighting against and hurting each other.

The feet don't like the head, and want to cause damages to the head.

The head doesn't like the hands and want to get rid of the hands.

The stomach wants to get rid of the liver.

The kidneys want to get rid of the stomach.

The liver wants to get rid of the spleen.

The spleen wants to get rid of the bladder.

The bladder wants to get rid of the lungs.

The lungs want to get rid of the heart.

The heart wants to get rid of the glands.

The glands want to get rid of the pancreas.

The muscles want to get rid of the bones.

The collar bone doesn't agree with the spine, and wants to get rid of the spine.

The spine wants to get rid of the muscles around it.

The bones want to get rid of the skin.

The skin wants to get rid of the hair.

The hair want to get rid of the ears.

The eyes want to get rid of the nose.

The nose wants to get rid of the eyes and the ears.

The tongue doesn't want to share the space of the mouth that doesn't belong to anyone and anything with the teeth. While the different senses of different flavor within the tongue are hating one another and want to get rid of each other.

The back muscles are hating the abdominal muscles for sharing the space that doesn't belong to anyone and anything.

The intestines don't want the rectum and the anus to be sharing the space that doesn't belong to anyone and anything.

The blood is being discriminating towards certain components, and only wants to supply nutrients and oxygen to certain components and not to some other components.

The upper teeth are fighting with the lower teeth, while the lower teeth are hating and fighting against each other.

The knees don't want the ankles being part of the legs that don't belong to anyone and anything.

The thumb doesn't like the fingers to be sharing the hand that doesn't belong to anyone and anything.

And so on.

Inquire the truth of everything, and be free.

Be free from selfishness, possessiveness, pride, discrimination, petty-mindedness

Selfishness, possessiveness, pride, discrimination, and petty-mindedness, or greed, is not distinctive from self-destruction. It hurts others, and it will hurt oneself.

When a mind, not to say, the minds of a group of community, is being over-powered by selfishness, possessiveness (of claiming ownership and authority towards certain space and nature that don't belong to anyone), pride (towards their particular identity and possession), discrimination (towards the others that the mind(s) perceived as 'foreigners' or 'not one of us'), and petty-mindedness (of unwilling to be sharing the space and nature that don't belong to anyone with all and everyone, or unwilling to look after the general physical and mental welfare of the others, but depriving and destroying the general physical and mental welfare of the others), and under the influence of all these names and forms, the mind(s) generate desires, thoughts, actions and expressions that project the aspiration of either unwelcoming, pushing away, chasing out, and hating towards 'the others', or charging/taxing all others for their existence and all kinds of basic needs for survival in this space that doesn't belong to anyone, it all will come back unto oneself (themselves).

How people (the minds) desire to 'build' their 'living space' that doesn't belong to them or anyone (either full of peace, openness, kindness and harmony that give rise to prosperity for everyone, or full of unrest, selfishness, unkindness and disharmony that give rise to desperation and suffering for everyone), that's the 'living space' that they will be living in.

All kinds of basic survival needs that are available for all kinds of names and forms to be existing and surviving here in this space that doesn't belong to anyone, are coming from the selfless universe or the selfless nature, absolutely available for all and everyone to be existing and surviving here in this space that doesn't belong to anyone, unconditionally and limitlessly, provided that each and everyone needs to be exerting certain effort or energy to be maintaining and looking after their own existence and survival. All and everyone still needs to find food and water, and eat the food and drink the water, which requires certain effort or energy, where the energy is also coming from the selfless support of the selfless universe or nature, unconditionally and limitlessly, until the end of the existence of any particular name and form.

However, the many ignorant selfish possessive discriminating greedy minds thought that they could just claim ownership and authority towards the space and all kinds of basic survival needs that don't belong to anyone as much as they can, keeping for their own existence and survival, while at the same time, either forbidding others from existing and surviving in this space that doesn't belong to anyone, or restricting others' existence and survival by charging/taxing others for being existing and surviving in this space that doesn't belong to anyone.

It's like the air or oxygen. It doesn't belong to anyone. Similarly, the sun, the earth, the space, the land, the water, the nature or natural resources that exist selflessly and unconditionally for the existence and life maintenance or survival of all kinds of names and forms, don't belong to anyone.

Developing correct understanding

Developing correct understanding towards the relationship between identity, separateness, possessiveness, selfishness, fear, greed, desire, anger, hatred, discrimination, unrest, and violence.

All these terms are inter-related or 'good friends' to one another.

All these names and forms are the products of ignorance, the idea of 'I', and egoism.

The presence of the idea of 'I', and egoism, gives rise to individual, family, social, community, and group identity, attaching towards certain similar qualities of names and forms to be identifying as 'I' and 'us'.

The presence of identity gives rise to separateness between 'I' or 'us' and the others that are 'not I' or 'not us'.

The presence of separateness leads to possessiveness towards names and forms that don't belong to anyone as 'my' and 'our', or to be 'mine' and 'ours'.

The presence of possessiveness gives rise to selfishness (these are mine or ours), fear (of losing the possession), and greed (towards possessing more and more possession, and there are endless desires and ambitions).

The presence of selfishness, fear, and greed gives rise to self-protectiveness, defensiveness, offensiveness, dissatisfaction, anger, hatred, intimidation, invasion, occupation, oppression, and discrimination towards ideas, values, practice, activities, affairs, or those that are detrimental to or going against 'my' or 'our' desires and ambitions.

The presence of dissatisfaction, anger, hatred, intimidation, invasion, occupation, oppression, and discrimination leads to unrest and violence, a.k.a. devoid of peace at all levels.

Devoid of peace, or the presence of unrest and disturbance feeds ignorance that fuels the idea of 'I' and egoism.

To be free from all that - Annihilate the veil of ignorance.

To annihilate the veil of ignorance - Attain self-realization, or know Thyself.

To attain self-realization - Perform self-inquiry towards what is 'I', or towards the truth of names and forms (selflessness and impermanence).

To perform self-inquiry towards what is 'I', or towards the truth of names and forms - Purifying the intellectual reasoning and understanding, calming and quieting the restless thought-wave, or thought-current, or thought activities, or annihilating the restless impure egoistic modification of the mind.

To purify, calm, quiet, and annihilate the restless impure egoistic modification of the mind - Annihilate or let go the idea of 'I' and egoism.

To annihilate or let go the idea of 'I' and egoism - Stop feeding or fueling the idea of 'I' and egoism.

To stop feeding or fueling the idea of 'I' and egoism - Freeing the mind from attachment, identification, desire of craving and aversion, comparison, judgment, and expectation, by developing non-attachment, non-identification, desirelessness, non-craving, non-aversion, non-comparison, non-judgment, and non-expectation.

To facilitate or implement all that - Observe or practice dispassion, renunciation*, seclusion, solitude, mental and emotional independence, simplicity, truthfulness, straightforwardness, contentment, gratitude, generosity, non-possessiveness, non-hoarding, non-greed, kindness, non-violence, non-blind believing/disbelieving, non-blind agreeing/disagreeing, non-blind following, non-worshiping, non-glorifying, non-blind practicing, non-blind propagating, mental strength and stamina (patience, forbearance, perseverance, determination), mental flexibility (acceptance, adaptation, adjustment, accommodation, forgiveness, cheerfulness), mental skill (openness, intentionlessness, desirelessness, correct understanding, right discrimination, right attitude, right effort, right focus, self-discipline, self-control, reasoning, inquiring the truth of everything), Yama (Restraint), Niyama (Observation), Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath control), Pratyahara (withdraw the senses from the sense objects), Dharana (concentration, or being in the present moment), Dhyana (meditation - prolonged concentration/non-grasping/non-association), Samadhi (silence/stillness/timelessness/non-separateness/devoid of 'I' or separateness), the middle path (moderation/balance), self-introspection, and self-inquiry.

Inquire the truth of everything.

*Renunciation - It's nothing to do with becoming a monk or nun living in a monk or nun community. It's about giving up, or letting go, or renouncing the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, restlessness, the fruit of action, worldly passionate egoistic way of living, identities, titles, status, desires, inspirations and aspirations, ambitions, ideas, values, beliefs, superstitions, practices, affairs, ties and connections, social interactions and activities, glory and fame, pride and arrogance, superiority and inferiority, authoritarianism, grouping, power and control, the sense of belonging, self-esteem and self-worth, guilt and regret, fear and worry, grief and sorrow, clinging and longing, meaningfulness and meaninglessness, positiveness and negativeness, goodness and badness, appropriateness and disappropriateness, accomplishment and non-accomplishment, self-righteousness, possessiveness, separateness, discrimination, prejudice, ill-will, offensiveness, defensiveness, day dreaming, building castle in the air, wild imagination, the past and the future, pleasurable enjoyments of the senses, luxurious indulgence, wealth hoarding/accumulation, extreme hardship, hypocrisy, story telling, fairy tales, lies, slandering, back-biting, gossiping, vain talk, self-glorification, boasting, attention/praise/compliment fishing, lust, jealousy, anger, hatred, feelings of hurt, dissatisfaction, disappointment, resentment, bitterness, vengeance, cruelty, violence, fighting, conflict, debate, argument, justification, selfishness, petty-mindedness, stinginess, corruption, bribery, blaming, competition, comparison, judgment, expectation, intention, interference, self-blame/self-harm/self-torture, extremity, intoxication, obsession, physical and mental addiction, under-active, over-active, over-eating, under-eating, over-sleeping, under-sleeping, mental and emotional dependence, blind faith, blind believing, blind agreeing, blind following, blind worshiping, blind practicing, blind propagating, glorification, admiration, love seeking, praise seeking, acceptance seeking, approval seeking, recognition seeking, agreement seeking, and etc.

The mind is being offended by something that promotes world peace and harmony, unselfishness, non-discrimination and unconditional love?

There are minds being offended and angered by something that promotes world peace and harmony, unselfishness, non-discrimination and unconditional love among all and everyone under different names and forms in the world of many diversities. But why?

Why does the mind is being offended and angered by as well as strongly opposing something that promotes world peace and harmony, unselfishness, non-discrimination and unconditional love among all and everyone in the world of diversity?

And if, one's belief, values, practice, behavior, desire and vision is all about promoting world peace and harmony, unselfishness, non-discrimination and unconditional love, then how come there is so much offensiveness, anger and hatred in oneself towards something that is about world peace and harmony, unselfishness, non-discrimination and unconditional love, not to say, towards something that is the opposite of all that?

Unless the existing belief, values, practice, behavior, desire and vision in the mind, is about promoting unrest and disharmony, selfishness, discrimination and hatred, that is something different from and contradicting with the teachings and practice that promotes world peace and harmony, unselfishness, non-discrimination and unconditional love, or else, why does the mind is being offended and angered, and opposing towards the similar values, teachings, practice and behavior, just because it is under a different name and form, that is coming from and representing some other form of teachings or beliefs, that is not coming from or representing one's belief under a particular name and form?

Why does the mind constantly feel being offended, intimidated, belittled, disrespected, humiliated, threatened or hurt by something that promotes liberation, independence, freedom, wisdom, compassion, peace, harmony, unselfishness, contentment, non-greed, non-possessiveness, non-discrimination and unconditional loving kindness and acceptance among all kinds of diversities, not to say, something that is opposite of all that?

It's the freedom of the mind for its thinking, belief, values, practice, desire, behavior, action and reaction. There's neither right nor wrong. The mind just needs to know and understand what is going on in itself or why does itself behaving, acting and reacting in certain way.

Inquire towards most advocacy or empowerment in the world of modernization and higher technology

There are many different types of advocacy or empowerment in the world of modernization and higher technology, such as women empowerment, youth empowerment, educational and creativity empowerment, career empowerment, entrepreneurship or business empowerment, health and fitness and beauty empowerment, organic living and eating empowerment, lifestyles empowerment, cultural and ethical empowerment, mental health empowerment, positive thinking empowerment, success and wealth empowerment, patriotism and nationalism empowerment, spiritual and religious empowerment, personal and group identity empowerment, professional image empowerment, self-esteem and confidence empowerment, and so on.

One can also say that the selfless work of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, Swami Sivananda and Ajahn Chah is sort of similar to the many existing advocacy or empowerment in the world of modernization and higher technology to be promoting certain cause and motivating the minds to be making an effort to be achieving certain goal, however, their selfless work are indeed the contrary of all those advocacy and empowerment.

Most of the advocacy and empowerment nowadays are mainly to be supporting and empowering the world of greed, possessiveness and selfishness, attachment and identification, desire of craving and aversion, birth origin/citizenship/nationality/the sense of belonging, separateness and discrimination, commercialism/capitalism/industrialization/business investment and exploitation, success and wealth accumulation/hoarding, social status and title, personal and group identity, physical appearance and body image, physical and mental ability and achievement, name/fame/glory/pride, acknowledgement and recognition, superiority and inferiority, passionate desires and pleasurable enjoyment of the senses, and so on, being empowered by ignorance and egoism and restlessness, that might give rise to certain degrees of momentary sense of pride, confidence, satisfaction, success, goodness, happiness and meaningfulness that doesn't remove ignorance and egoism, and the suffering deriving from ignorance and egoism, but then are harming the surrounding living environment to the maximum, and eventually damaging the overall well-being of all and everyone in many ways, physically and mentally, that promotes and contributes to unrest and disharmony in the world of diversity.

While the work of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, Swami Sivananda and Ajahn Chah is all about to be reversing, or renouncing, or moving away from all that.

It's about realizing the unlimited unconditional peace deriving from the effort towards the annihilation of such ignorance, egoism, impurities and restless modification of the selfless mind, powered by intense yearning towards liberation from all kinds of madness and suffering deriving from the world of ignorance and egoism.

The higher technology itself is neither good nor bad. It can be utilized for promoting wholesomeness or unwholesomeness, however, what is wholesomeness and unwholesomeness can be very different for most of the minds functioning under the influence of ignorance, egoism and restlessness. Similarly, there's neither good nor bad about education, where right education that would lead the mind to be free from ignorance and egoism, would be benefiting all and everyone in the world in many ways, however, most education in the world are under the influence of ignorance and egoism that are empowering ignorance and egoism in the minds.

There's nothing wrong and it's very good about the advocacy for looking after the physical and mental health of individual and/or the entire community, especially if without attachment and identification towards the impermanent physical conditions and the impermanent states of the mind, as well as towards the physical and mental ability/disability/limitation/achievement/non-achievement, however, most of the advocacy for looking after the physical and mental health is unwittingly empowering the ignorance and egoism in the minds, empowering passionate egoistic attachment, identification, desire of craving and aversion, comparison, judgment and expectation, attaching towards the actions and the fruit of actions in the process of looking after the physical and mental well-being, in order to attain the momentary sense of well-being, satisfaction, confidence, goodness, healthiness, positiveness, happiness and meaningfulness.

Most of the mental health treatment is more about controlling the symptoms via certain medical treatment with drugs, and through empowering the momentary sense of well-being, goodness, happiness and meaningfulness being determined by the presence and absence of certain qualities of names and forms, which doesn't really help to lessen the increasing and yet avoidable mental health problems in the world, that are very much related to the over-all physical and mental well-being in all and everyone, the general welfare of the living condition and the surrounding living environment, and the peace and harmony in the society, that are being impacted largely by the existence of many kinds of selfishness, ignorance, incorrect understanding, corrupted thinking and behavior, petite mindedness, self-righteousness, discrimination, prejudice, violence, hurtful behavior, bully, exploitation, abuse, oppression, invasion, control, anger, hatred, fear, anxiety, stress, conflict, unrest and disharmony deriving from the minds that are functioning under the influence of ignorance and egoism, in all levels, at home, in family, in personal relationship, in social interaction, in the community, at school, at work place, in the public space, in the world, and so on.

Inquire the truth of everything.

All are selfish unless the mind realized selflessness

Selfishness is part of the impermanent modifications of the mind. It's part of the survival instinct in all living beings. It's naive to be judging anyone as a selfish or unselfish person, not to say, a good or bad being, even though certain actions/reactions are being perceived as selfishness or unselfishness.

The minds that are free from ignorance and egoism, they don't judge or label anyone as good or bad being, selfish or unselfish person, even though they are aware of the existence of certain kind or unkind, selfish or unselfish actions and reactions in all and everyone, being aware of all kind of modifications of the minds or agreeable/disagreeable behaviors are impermanent and conditional.

The minds that are functioning under the influence of ignorance and egoism, and have no awareness towards the modifications of the mind, are restlessly swaying between good mood and bad mood, being conditioned by the likes and dislikes, agreements and disagreements, desires and don't desires of themselves, that are determining their behavior and interactions with the others, where they can be unselfishly easy going, kind and nice at one time, while can be selfishly difficult, unkind and hurtful at some other time depending on the states of their mind.

Those who are behaving selfishly most of the time can sometimes be unselfish under certain reasons or conditions. While those who are behaving unselfishly most of the time can also sometimes be selfish under certain reasons or conditions. Or, people can be selfish in certain things while being unselfish in some other things at the same time. Most of the time, the minds are being less selfish, good or nice to others when the minds are in good mood, upon perceiving something desirable and agreeable to them, while they are being selfish, bad or not so nice to others when the minds are in bad mood, upon perceiving something undesirable or disagreeable to them.

It's neither right nor wrong, neither good nor bad, neither positive nor negative, it's merely the behavior pattern of the minds functioning under the influence of ignorance and egoism, although selfish intention and behavior can cause certain unpleasant consequences to oneself and others, and impacting the condition and situation of the surrounding environment, either intentionally or unintentionally.

Similarly, sometimes what the minds recognized as unselfish intention and behavior might also can cause certain unpleasant consequences to oneself and others, and impacting the condition and situation of the surrounding environment in certain way, unintentionally.

Some minds are aware of selfishness, but they still want to be selfish, either wittingly or unwittingly, due to certain desire, motivation, ambition, aspiration, desperation or fear, regardless of whether they think and believe that selfishness is something bad, wrong and negative, or not.

Some minds are not aware of selfishness in themselves, and they are behaving selfishly most of the time, but they might be thinking and believing and identifying oneself as an unselfish person, while recognizing certain selfishness in some others.

Many minds might think and believe that selfishness is something bad, wrong and negative, that they don't want to be selfish, and they want to be unselfish. They want to be recognized and acknowledged and identified as unselfish people, and they don't want to be recognized, or acknowledged, or identified as selfish people. They might be performing many actions that they think are unselfish actions, and they might not perform any actions that they think are selfish actions. They think and believe that they are unselfish people, as they have been being generous, thoughtful, nice and kind to others, or they have been sacrificing their time, energy, effort and priority for some others for certain reasons, where there's expectation towards receiving acknowledgement and appreciation from others for being generous, thoughtful, nice and kind, while they would be disappointed if their generosity, thoughtfulness, nice treatment and kindness are not being acknowledged or appreciated as they expect how it should be. Such attachment and identification towards the state of selfishness and unselfishness is also part of the modifications of the mind under the influence of ignorance and egoism.

Disappointment towards other people's behavior that the mind thinks and believes as something selfish, wrongful, bad or unkind, while being determined and disturbed by that, is the responsibility of the mind itself for having expectation towards all and everyone should and shouldn't behave in certain way. The minds that understand, they won't be disappointed or determined by the selfishness, wrongfulness, badness and unkindness in the world, as they don't have expectation towards everyone should and shouldn't behave in certain way. They might not agree with certain behavior in certain people, but they understand that it's everyone's freedom for their own behavior, and it's everyone's responsibility towards their own behavior and the consequences of their behavior, may it be it's one's family members or close friends, or someone happens to be famous, powerful, knowledgeable, talented, successful, or highly respected in the world.

Selfishness that derived from survival instinct and other impurities such as desire, ambition, self-glorification, self-protection, jealousy and resentment exists everywhere, including within the same family, friendship, relationship, workplace, classroom, community, competition, not to say, in the field of politics. Out of desire, ambition, self-glorification, self-protection, resentment or jealousy among siblings, friends, partners, classmates, colleagues, communities, competitors, or politics, may it be to glorify oneself in order to gain attention, liking and support from certain people, or to protect oneself and one's desires, benefits and status, or merely to injure or weaken the others in order to achieve success or something that one desires, where siblings, or friends, or partners would hurt one another, either secretly or openly, not to say among classmates, colleagues, communities, competitors, and especially, politics. At one time, people are being nice to one another, while at another time, the same people are hurting one another, when things are not the way that they desire and agree with, or not the way that they expect it to be.

The minds that realized selflessness, are free from egoistic attachment and identification towards the impermanent modifications of the mind. There's neither "I am selfish" nor "I am unselfish." There's neither "I want to be selfish/unselfish" nor "I don't want to be selfish/unselfish."

All are selfish, under the presence of the idea of 'I' and the duality/separateness/survival instinct/attachment/identification/desire/fear that exists along with the idea of 'I', and would hurt anyone in order to achieve one's desire or ambition, or to protect oneself and one's benefits, unless the mind realized selflessness, void of ignorance and egoism, or selfish intention and desire, even though certain actions (both action and inaction) might be perceived by the ignorant egoistic minds as 'selfishness' or 'unselfishness'.

How everyone want to think, act and react, agree and disagree towards all and everything, is everyone's freedom. One can be aware of what is going on in one's mind, and have self-control over one's actions and reactions, or not, without attachment or identification, and let other minds to be aware of what is going on in their mind, and have self-control over their actions and reactions, or not.

Respecting everyone being what they are and how they are, and all are impermanent, without interfering or regulating everyone and everything to be and not to be in certain way. Let everyone be responsible for looking after their own mind and have self-control, or not, and be responsible for the consequences of their own behavior, actions and reactions, even if there's collective responsibility that is also not in the control of anyone.

Let go the thinking and belief about "This, or 'I', deserves or doesn't deserve this and that," based on particular thinking, belief, values and practice.

Realize this and be free.

Ignorance is unstoppable

Ignorance is unstoppable in this world of human beings, ceaselessly fed by growing greed and selfishness, the best friends of survival instinct, possessiveness and boundless desire.

One is considered highly fortunate, if one has certain degrees of awareness towards the modification of the mind and has certain degrees of correct understanding and self-control of not wanting to harm oneself and/or others and the surrounding environment selfishly, even if one is not completely be free from certain degrees of ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, or not free from certain degrees of egoism and desires, and there are certain inevitable limitations in this worldly life existence due to the nature of selflessness and impermanence in all kinds of names and forms, or all and everything is being restricted by time, space and causation, on top of the many unnecessary meanness, difficulties or suffering deriving from the unstoppable growing ignorance in the world.

Those who don't know, they attached onto goodness and/or badness, where some would be determined and disturbed by the presence of badness and the absence of goodness, while some would do anything to hurt all and everything in order to achieve what they think is 'goodness'/'prosperity'/'righteousness'/'power'/'survival'/'security'/'victory' for themselves.

Those who know, they don't attached towards either goodness or badness in this world, and they are not being determined or disturbed by the presence of badness or the absence of goodness, where they won't hurt anyone or anything out of the selfish desire to achieve what others think is 'goodness'/'prosperity'/'righteousness'/'power'/'survival'/'security'/'victory' for themselves, but respecting the nature of selflessness and impermanence in all and everything being limited by time, space and causation.

When it's time to go, none can stay, ignorant or not.

Somewhere in between insufficiency and abundance

Just like everything else, there's neither good nor bad about poverty and wealthiness, if the mind is void of ignorance and egoistic attachment, identification, desire of craving and aversion, comparison, judgment and expectation, being free from discontentment, greed and selfishness, where one is able to adapt to the different conditions without being determined by the different conditions, as well as making use of the different conditions to be doing something beneficial for oneself and the world.

Both conditions have their own pros and cons, and their consequences that impact the world in certain way.

Regardless of living under the condition of poverty or wealthiness, one might be performing actions under any condition that might harm oneself, the others or the environment, out of ignorance and egoism, out of desperation, discontentment, insecurity, fear, greed and selfishness. One might also be using the existing challenging poverty condition to be constantly improving oneself without attachment, identification or expectation, or using the existing wealthy condition to be doing something beneficial for looking after the well-being of the world, without attachment, identification or expectation.

Under the era of such advanced science and technology, where many people in certain areas in the world are living under extreme comfortable condition, with many conveniences and endless pleasurable enjoyments, where people are throwing out excess food that they couldn't manage to sell or eat everyday, all and everyone in the world should have enough basic needs for living, not just merely enough for survival, not to say, none should be living under the state of insufficiency, where there's no proper shelter or not enough nutritional food.

One doesn't need to be wealthy to be having that kind of enough basic needs for living, that is free from the state of insufficiency, where there should be sufficient income for accessing affordable shelter and nutritional food for all and everyone, if none is being greedy and selfish to be accumulating and hoarding unlimited wealth that empowers many corruptions in the world, that are responsible for many exploitation and destruction towards nature, natural resources, animals and human beings, that are impacting regional and global food production and supply, and contributing towards unjust distribution of income and food supply around the world.

There are many other options in between insufficiency and abundance, that doesn't need to be exploiting or harming all and everything to the maximum just because some greedy and selfish human beings are being highly ambitious to be attaining and possessing unlimited wealth or abundance.

It's good to be constantly improving oneself and one's living condition, however, one needs to be endowed with contentment and non-greediness as well, by knowing and stopping at the point of 'financially sufficient enough for living' without exploiting or harming anyone or anything in order to be accumulating more and more wealth beyond the point of 'sufficient enough for living'. That is true self-improvement. One can still be constantly improving oneself after stop accumulating wealth. Self-improvement is nothing to do with wealth accumulation. Unfortunately, many people are being empowered to put the two together on each end of the weighing scale. Those who constantly improving themselves and their wealth accumulation without a stopping point until causing harm and destruction to all and everything out of limitless discontentment and greed, might be being admired by many others as 'the most successful people/influencers in the world', but not really.

Being aware of ignorance in the world without being determined or disturbed by it

Not being determined or disturbed by the ignorance in the world doesn't mean that one is ignoring or unaware of all kinds of ignorant affairs in the surrounding environment. It also doesn't mean that one is emotionless, non-sympathetic, or non-empathetic.

It's merely the correct understanding towards the modification of the minds, towards ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, while respecting the nature of selflessness and impermanence in all and everything, and being capable to let go passionate egoism of attachment, identification, desire of craving and aversion, judgment and expectation, that enable the mind to be aware of all kinds of ignorance and suffering deriving from ignorance in the world, while being undetermined and undisturbed by the ignorance and the consequences of ignorance.

For those who have great enthusiasm to help the world to be free from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, or to have less ignorant affairs and suffering generated out of ignorant thinking, belief, values, practice, actions and reactions, they need to be aware of what is happening around the world, however, it's very important for them to also have certain degrees of non-attachment and non-identification, so that they are not being determined or disturbed so much by all kinds of heartbreaking inhumanity or cruelty that are (unfortunately still) existing in the world of higher education, science and technology, of higher comfort, convenience and enjoyments, but not free from the influence of ignorance and egoism. If so, they can contribute a lot, while looking after themselves, without loosing their own peace and sanity. The world is desperately in need of more such selfless compassionate beings to balance the off-sided equilibrium of the world, where greed and selfishness are getting heavier, unfortunately.

Some people might choose to ignore the ignorance in the world, by closing their eyes and ears, or moving away from social medias and current world/local news, not seeing and not hearing anything in the world and in one's surrounding environment that can be 'disturbing' to the state of their mind, so that they will feel better and happier. That's their freedom, and there's nothing wrong to be looking after the state of one's mind.

In fact, those who can't take in anymore disturbing or frustrating news in the world about all kinds of ignorant worldly affairs deriving from the ignorance of selfish human beings, as they might not know what is non-attachment and non-identification, then by making an initiation and effort to step back from the world, of not seeing and not hearing, or not knowing and not aware of all kinds of ignorant happenings in the world, is the best way to help the world to have more peace by helping oneself, to maintain certain degrees of peace and quietness, to be looking after one's mental health before loosing it. It's not selfish at all, as one isn't generating or contributing any harmful destructive actions and reactions into the world, which is already a great contribution to more peace and harmony.

Want to learn and practice yoga? (27)

The presence and absence of love or loving kindness among one another has no intention or quality to be something good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative, meaningful or meaningless, joyful or sorrowful, or to make someone feel happy/unhappy and loved/unloved. It's the egoistic attachment and expectation towards 'love' and 'loving kindness' among one another, as well as the desire of craving and aversion towards the presence and absence of love or loving kindness among one another, that is why the mind perceives goodness, righteousness, positivity, meaningfulness and joyfulness upon the presence of love or loving kindness among one another, and feels happy and loved. And the mind perceives badness, wrongfulness, negativity, meaninglessness and sorrow upon the absence of love or loving kindness among one another, and feels unhappy and unloved.

Similarly, whenever the mind reacts and perceives disturbance, dissatisfaction, disappointment, disrespectfulness, humiliation, intimidation, offensiveness, hurt, anger, hatred, fear, worry, painful sorrow or suffering towards the presence or absence of certain names and forms, upon coming in contact with undesirable/unpleasant/disagreeable experiences, reactions and treatments, and not coming in contact with desirable/pleasant/agreeable experiences, reactions and treatments, it's due to the egoistic attachment, identification, expectation and the desire of craving and aversion towards the different names and forms or experiences, actions, reactions and treatments.

If human beings really want to live in a world that is peaceful and harmony among all the different diversities, the minds need to be free from the egoism of attachment and identification towards the qualities of names and forms, that empowers separateness and duality, that feeds the desire of craving towards 'superiority and deserving superior treatments from others' and aversion towards 'inferiority and deserving inferior treatments from others', by letting go the worldly cultural/social/national/political/commercial/religious thinking, belief, values and practice about "Because of who and what I am and where I came from, because of my birth place, my origin, my ancestry, my race, my tribe, my gender, my sexual orientation, my religion, my belief, my values, my culture, my nationality, my status, my title, my position, my education, my knowledge, my profession, my physical and mental ability, my achievement, my contribution, my efforts, my sacrifice, my actions and fruit of my actions, my appearance, my influential power, my name and fame, and etc, and hence, I am either more or less superior or inferior than the others, and so, I  (the others) deserve superior or inferior treatments from others (I), and I or the others deserve or don't deserve respect or humiliation.

Unfortunately, most people don't really interested in living in peace and harmony with one another, but would rather enjoying or chasing after the 'superior qualities and status' that enabling them to receive certain 'superior treatments from the others', to stand out among all the others, to be more superior than the others, or be distinguished from some others who are inferior than oneself, to take pride in the attachment and identification towards 'superior qualities and status', to fit into the category of 'superiority'.

Not all, but many of those who are sort of 'possessing' and 'enjoying' certain 'superior' qualities and status will not let go such 'privilege' for being more 'superior' that the others, and they are being fearful towards losing the status of superiority and the pleasure enjoyment of receiving superior treatments from others.

Although many people would think and believe that they want to be living in a world that is peaceful and harmony among one another of different names and forms, but because most human beings are being brought up from young under the many different cultural/social/religious/racial/national/political/commercial beliefs, values and practices, where all is about enforcing a personal and group identity to either take pride or shame towards the different qualities of names and forms, towards oneself and all the others, that determining how oneself perceives, judges and treats all the others, and how oneself expects and reacts towards how the others perceive, judge and treat oneself, and either feel deserved, respected, pleased and satisfied or undeserved, disrespected, displeased and dissatisfied towards the different perceptions, judgments, treatments, actions and reactions coming from the others towards oneself, where the goal of all actions in this life existence, is directly and indirectly about admiring, chasing after, developing, achieving, possessing and enjoying superior qualities, status, enjoyments and treatments.

Instead of to be more open-minded, friendly, cheerful, tolerant, understanding and accommodating, there are more and more minds are being trained, educated, empowered and conditioned to be highly sensitive and defensive towards one's particular 'superior quality and status', and are easily be offended and angered by what the minds perceived and judged as 'offensive', 'disrespectful', 'humiliating' and 'undeserving' perceptions, judgments, comments, criticisms, treatments, actions and reactions from others, and would react with violent hurtful reactions and behaviors, causing unrest and damaging consequences in oneself and others and the surrounding environment.

The parents told the children, the teacher told the students, the religious leader told the followers, and the country leader told the nation, "This is who you (we) are. Take pride in who and what you (we) are and where you (we) came from. You (we) are different from the others. You (we) are superior than the others. You (we) deserve respect and superior treatments from others. Defend your (our) pride. Those disrespect you (us), your (our) pride and what makes you (us) who you (we) are, and those who don't give you (us) your (our) deserving superior treatments, they deserve painful punishments."

The commercial advertisements told the consumers, "You are special. You worth it. Be passionate. Be inspired. Be ambitious. You can have it if you desire. Pamper yourself. You deserve all these luxuries, new toys and pleasurable enjoyments for all your senses. Celebrate everything! Be adventurous! Fulfill your bucket list! Live without regrets! We have everything that you desire that make you feel great!"

Most people are being 'friendly', 'kind', 'calm', 'helpful' and 'nice' if everything is being the way that they expect and desire, and everyone is behaving in the way that they like and agree with, but then, instantly, they would turn into 'unfriendly', 'unkind', 'aggressive', 'hurtful' and 'not nice' once something is not being the way that they expect and desire, and someone is behaving in the way that they don't like and don't agree with. These are the minds that propagate "people should be angry and deserved to be expressing anger and violence towards something they think is bad and wrong, that is undeserving, disrespectful, offensive, humiliating and intimidating towards their particular attachment and identity towards certain names and forms," while manipulating people's anger in order to help them to achieve their aspiration and desire to create and control the world to be 'their way'.

People would think and believe that it's anger or uncontrolled anger that is causing people behaving violently and hurtfully. But, anger itself is not the problem at all. The main culprit that triggers such violent and hurtful behavior/reaction out of anger, is the corrupted ignorant egoistic thinking, belief, values and practice that is influencing and conditioning how the mind perceives, judges, desires, expects, acts and reacts towards the different names and forms, or towards all kinds of experiences, actions, reactions and treatments. Where the mind reacts/behaves violently and hurtfully out of anger towards what the mind disagrees with, doesn't like and doesn't desire, that is threatening its attachment and identity towards certain names and forms, based on those thinking, belief, values and practice.

The world of human beings is really 'sicked' being occupied by ignorant egoistic minds that are selfish and greedy. "As long as I and my people feel safe, fine, happy, comfortable, enjoying and satisfied..." It doesn't have to be like that, but that's the reality in the world of ignorance and egoism.

This world will never be free from all kinds of man made suffering of discrimination, offensiveness, anger, hatred, greed, violence, hurtful behaviors, ill treatments, prejudice, bias, bullying, corruption, intrusions, wars, painful sorrow and unrest, unless human beings be initiated to let go the egoism of attachment and identification, desire of craving and aversion, judgment and comparison, aspiration and expectation towards all kinds of impermanent and selfless qualities of names and forms.

Being aspired and determined to create or control the world to be and not to be in certain way, even if it's coming from the different thinking and beliefs about what is their own version of 'the best, good and right way', doesn't and can't lead to peace and harmony among the diversities.

It's about letting go the aspiration or desire to create or control the world to be and not to be in certain way.

Unity is not about getting rid of diversities, or making all the differences to become one same singular name and form, but it's respecting all kinds of differences as they are.

The history is already there, teaching and showing human beings about this, however, ignorance and egoism hinders the minds from realizing the ignorance and egoism in themselves, to see and learn from the teachings of the past and present consequences of ignorant and egoistic thinking, belief, values and practice in the world, where human beings keep generating actions and consequences of actions that cause more and more damages to peace and harmony, humanity and the environment, while trying to achieve and possess higher and higher superior qualities, status, treatments and enjoyments.

Higher and advance intellect, science and technology that provides higher enjoyments and conveniences to human beings is neither good nor bad, however, it didn't and doesn't remove ignorance and egoism from the minds, and couldn't stop the ignorant and egoistic minds from generating ignorant actions/reactions and consequences of ignorant actions/reactions, empowering the ignorance and egoism in oneself and the others, passing down all kinds of egoistic thinking, belief, values and practice to their next generations, where the world is occupied and run by impure minds under the influence of ignorance and egoism with specific aspiration and desire to create and control the world to be 'mine/ours' and 'my/our way', selfishly inflicting all kinds of unnecessary man made damages and suffering into the world of diversities through utilizing the higher and advance science and technology.

Performing all kinds of yoga practice regularly, and enjoying the effects/benefits of the different yoga practice, without freeing the mind from ignorance and egoism, doesn't bring peace to oneself or the world.

Inquire towards the truth of everything.

Want to learn and practice yoga? (24)

In certain social and cultural thinking, belief, values and practice, people are being taught about the benefits of making as many friends as possible, while making as less enemies as possible, in order to make life easier and less difficult.

The parents told the young children, "At home, you depend on family. Outside, at school, at work place, in career, in business, in social status and wealth, you depend on friends and connections."

The main intention and aspiration for building and expanding one's social connections and personal friends circle, is about getting as much love, care, help and support as possible, while getting as less obstacles and hardships as possible, in order to be advancing and attaining higher and higher success in one's life, career, business, status, or wealth.

People have the idea and values of "Friends are being there to be caring, loving, helping and supporting one another physically, mentally, emotionally or financially, especially during difficult times, where it will make life more easy and less difficult."

'Personal friends' or 'social connections' are being seen as one of the important assets that one should be accumulating and appreciating in order to be successful, joyful and meaningful in life.

People are being conditioned to think and believe that, "Having very few friends, or not having many friends in one's life, or not having any personal friends at all, to be playing, enjoying and sharing life with, or to be supporting and interacting with physically, mentally and emotionally, is something terrible and miserable, bad and wrong. Where one's life is doomed to be lonely, dulled, sad, joyless and meaningless, if without many or any personal friends, or life is doomed to be more hard, miserable and suffering, if without many or any social connections."

The sense of self-esteem, self-worth, confidence, success, positiveness and meaningfulness that doesn't need to be there in any human beings, is very much being determined by the quantity and quality of the personal friends circle and the social connections or social networking. Many people spend a lot of time and effort performing certain actions in order to be pleasing some others for getting the liking and acceptance, to be making friendship or building social connection with some others.

Some people who don't have spouse or children, or don't want to have spouse or children will be comforting themselves or be consoled by others, "I (You) don't have spouse or children, but at least, I (you) have many friends." Most people cannot understand that how come someone can be alone by oneself, and still be peaceful and happy, free from loneliness or self-pity.

Similarly, in certain worldly spiritual, religious and political thinking, belief, values and practice, making as many connections, members, followers, supporters and contributors as possible, in order to achieve certain selfish desire, aspiration or ambition, to be preserving, expanding, protecting and empowering one's particular spirituality, or religion, or political/national existence, identity, ideas, values and movements.

In the teachings and practice of Yoga and Buddhism, it's about letting go such thinking, belief, values and practice that is about making many personal friendships as well as social connections with the selfish intention to be benefiting oneself in certain way, to achieve one's personal desires and ambitions, or to get rid of loneliness, boredom and meaninglessness, but it's about be truly friendly, helpful and kind towards all beings without any selfish intention or expectation, out of humanity and compassion, without discrimination of 'friends' or 'not friends', 'connections' or 'non-connections', 'my people' or 'not my people'.

Be kind, friendly and helpful towards all and everyone, and provide necessary assistance particularly towards those who are 'truly' in need of certain help, within one's reach and ability, without discrimination or expectation. Being kind, friendly and helpful but ignorantly providing 'requested help' to those who don't really need help at all, but merely to be taking advantage of 'friends' and 'connections' to enjoy certain conveniences and benefits for oneself, doesn't help the world to have less ignorance and the consequences of ignorance.

Free from the idea and values of "Making as many friends as possible so that one will always have some friends to play with at anytime, because sometimes certain friends might not be available to be there for oneself, but at least there are many more other friends that might still be available to play with, or to be there for oneself whenever one needs help, or whenever one encounters any difficulties in life."

Many people might not be aware of that is what they have been learning and practicing from young, as well as passing down those selfish thinking, belief, values and practice onto their next generations, which they think is normal, and there's nothing selfish about it.

In social and cultural idea and values,

"Friends/connections are something good and positive."

"Friends/connections are there to make life easier and less difficult, more meaningful and less lonely."

"Friends/connections are there to help one's career and business to grow and be successful."

"Friends/connections are there to play with, to comfort, support and stand up for each other, and to protect one another."

"Friends/connections are there for helping one another to achieve everyone's aspirations and ambitions in life."

"You are not my friend, or you are not a good friend, because you are not there for me when I needed you, and you didn't keep in touch or stay connected with me for so long."

In certain spiritual, religious and political idea and values,

"You support me, I'll support you. You help me, I'll help you. You scratch my back, I'll scratch your back, and vice versa."

"You disagree with me and go against me, or you disrespect and disobey me, I'll punish and hurt you."

"The friends of my enemies are my enemies. The enemies of my enemies are my friends."

In the teachings and practice of Yoga and Buddhism,

Regardless of whether staying or not staying in touch/connected, with or without personal friendship/connection, agreeable or disagreeable, one just be kind and friendly to all, without discrimination, without selfish intention or expectation.

The best help to all humanity, is helping and guiding all, without discrimination, to be free from ignorance and egoism, which is the root cause of suffering arising in oneself and inflicting unto others, and not empowering the ignorance and egoism in the minds.

Mentality of certain people living in the world of corruption, discrimination and oppression

There are minds grew up being conditioned or told by their elders and the surrounding community about, "We need to keep our head down. In many occasions, we need to keep one eye opens one eye closed. As long as it doesn't affect ourselves and our livelihood directly, we shouldn't bother about the others being threatened and hurt by the existence of discrimination and oppression in our society. Even if it affects us indirectly, we must keep our head down and not getting into troubles. Be obedient, do as they told, give them what they want, and keep them happy, then our life will be a lot easier."

This is the mentality of some, or many people living in the world of corruption, discrimination and oppression.

There is fear towards the so called 'authority', where it shouldn't be. Many minds are being conditioned since very young age to be 'very fearful' towards this and that, to be obedient, and one must believe that 'this' is the truth, instead of learning to be open to inquire the truth of everything.

"The authority" is 'supposed' to be a leader, or a team of 'public servants' that supports or serves the community non-discriminatively, that empowers and supports the enhancement of the overall well-being and prosperity of everyone in the society, for personal, community and environmental growth.

An "authority" that doesn't serve or support all and everyone without discrimination, that aren't looking after and supporting the welfare of everyone equally, but instead, only looking after the welfare of themselves and/or those in their own skin, while enforcing 'force', 'fear', 'threat', 'discrimination' and 'oppression' onto the others that are different from them and disagree with them, that are being disagreeable and dislikable to them due to their particular ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, social class, financial status, educational status, culture, belief, values, practice, way of thinking, way of life, food choices, origins, or nationality, is not really an "authority". It's just a very sick mind, or an organization run by a group of 'mentally ill corrupted minds suffering from intense ignorance and egoism, that are prideful and yet, fear of losing power and control, or profit and wealth.'

Unfortunately, the mentality of "As long as it doesn't affect me personally and my livelihood, I still can enjoy my little 'goodies bag' of some limited rights and freedom given by the 'authority' because I am obedient, in which will be taken away from me if I am being disobedient, which I won't, I don't need to bother about the others being 'hurt' by the corruption, discrimination and oppression around me," would only empower such corruption.

Such like, "I'm not any of the LGBT community, I don't need to bother about the authority sanctions discrimination and oppression towards the LGBT community. Even if they are someone that I know personally. That's their problem, not my problem." or "I am privileged to be given certain rights, I am enjoying my little life. I shall not bother about the others whether they have rights and a life, or not." or "I am a man. I enjoy my privilege of being a man. I don't need to bother about women are being discriminated and oppressed by the authority in my community, even if I personally don't want to discriminate or oppress women for anything."

Needn't have any hopes about seeing a 'better' world that has less ignorance, egoism, selfishness, greed, corruption and discrimination, as none can remove the ignorance of others, but just do one's best of what is possible within one's ability, sharing the path of wisdom and compassion, in peace.

Rejecting subjugation and yearning for freedom is basic instinct in all living beings

Yearning towards all kinds of freedom and rejection towards any kind of subjugation being imposed onto oneself is part of the basic instinct in all living beings.

All living beings want total or maximum freedom for themselves, however, there are also human beings that don't mind imposing subjugation or restriction onto other beings that they disagree with or dislike, either by themselves or by others. These minds want all kinds of freedom for themselves, but they disagree with or being dissatisfied with some others having their own freedom.

In the teachings and practice of yoga and buddhism, one doesn't impose subjugation or restriction onto any others, but, only through one's own freewill, one imposes subjugation or restriction onto oneself, to discipline oneself, to have self-control, in order to annihilate ignorance, egoism and impurities in oneself, to attain the highest freedom of existence, which is free from the inevitable restless suffering of names and forms that is subject to selflessness and impermanence, of a perceived worldly life existence deriving from the modification of the mind functioning under the influence of ignorance and egoism.

Coming from the conscience of this mind itself, yearning to free itself from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, so that the existence of this body and mind, its thoughts, actions and speech wouldn't cause any painful suffering onto the others in the surrounding environment.

Many people would think and believe that 'democracy' or 'power to the people' is 'freedom from being ruled by others', or what people think and believe which will give them 'the power' that gives them 'the freedom' that they desire, where people have the power to choose and elect a group of people that represent them to form an authorization that will 'serve' them and 'give' them what they want, the way that they desire. But, 'democracy' is only 'sort of power and freedom' to a group of people who make up the majority, and not to the other groups of people who aren't the majority, because not everyone has the same interests and desires towards a world run by a particular system that they prefer and don't prefer. Meanwhile, 'the majority' with the similar interests and desires are not necessarily those who are free from the influence of ignorance, egoism, greed, possessiveness and selfishness, as well as those whom 'the majority' chosen and elected to represent them and form the authorization to serve the people, also might not necessarily be free from the influence of ignorance, egoism, greed, possessiveness and selfishness.

A 'system' that is generated and run by a group of corrupted minds that are functioning under the influence of ignorance, egoism, greed, possessiveness and selfishness would be hurting many innocent common people who just want to live a simple honest life, and hurting the surrounding living environment more than to be 'protecting' the benefits and welfare of the people indiscriminately, or to be 'looking after' the welfare of the surrounding living environment.

That's why the teachings and practice of yoga and buddhism emphasized on the attainment of self-realization through self-conscience, self-freewill, self-effort, self-discipline, self-control, self-purification and self-inquiry to free one's mind from ignorance and the by-products of ignorance, allowing a world that is self regulating under the law of nature, where all beings are self-initiated to free oneself from the influence of ignorance and the by-products of ignorance, where all beings don't need to be regulated under a humans generated 'system' to be or not to be in certain way, or 'be so called protected' under the 'system', where liberation from ignorance and egoism in the beings will efficiently contribute to peace and harmony among all beings in the world of diversities. Then, either with or without a 'humans generated system' in the world, it's neither good nor bad, if the world (the people and the authority that serves the people) is free from ignorance and the by-products of ignorance.

Liberation from ignorance and egoism can never be achieved by the discrimination, regulation, oppression, disciplinary, control, and threat imposed by others, or by receiving so called 'blessing' from 'someone or somewhere', but only through self-initiation and persevered self-effort to discipline, purify and silent one's mind.

It's never about out of self-righteousness based on a particular thinking, belief, practice, values, interests and desires to teach, judge, oppress, control, discipline, change, prosecute, and punish the others that are different from oneself, that one disagrees with and dislikes.

It's not about achieving a world that is preferable to a particular group of people of a particular thinking, belief, practice, values, interests and desires, by running the world under a particular humans generated 'system of law and order' to regulate all and everyone to be and not to be in certain way according to a particular thinking, belief, practice, values, interests and desires.

Under the so called 'democratic system regulated under specific law and order' to be regulating and controlling the people in the world to be and not to be in certain way, some really good leaders with good intentions and great ideas that would benefit the overall welfare of the world also can't do much to free the world from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, due to being 'restricted' by the 'system of democracy' itself. It's not that 'democracy' is not good, it's just that real freedom for all and everyone without discrimination doesn't come from 'democracy'.

Above all, 'positive thinking' and 'optimism' also couldn't remove the ignorance and the consequences of ignorance in the world.

Selflessness is not 'unselfishness'

Self-inquiry is the core of all kinds of yoga and meditation practice to inquire into the truth of "who am I", or what the mind think and believe is 'myself', and to attain self-realization of knowing who/what is 'I'.

Selflessness is the realization derived from the inquiry of who/what is this 'I'. It's what all and everything are.

'I' is the ignorance of an identification of an individual being whom attached onto certain qualities of names and forms (the physical body, the thinking mind, the knowledge, the thinking and belief, the physical and mental ability and limitation, the action and the result of the action, the achievements, the possessions, the relationships with other beings and objects, the family/ethnicity/cultural/nationality/community/spirituality/educational/political background, the living environment and condition, the lifestyle and all the life experiences, and so on) to be identified as "This is who/what I am". And yet, the existence and the function and all the impermanent changes of the body and the mind is not in the control of 'I', or 'anyone', but all and everything are ceaselessly changing under the nature law of cause and effect, arising and passing away.

Selflessness is the realization of 'I' doesn't exist. There is no 'I' in anything and everything of different names and forms that are subject to impermanence, the law of nature. And hence, there is no 'my' and 'mine'. And this realization leads to no 'separateness', no 'discrimination', no 'clinging', no 'connections', no 'relationships', no 'family', no 'ethnicity', no 'friends', no 'enemies', no 'pride', no 'humiliation', no 'hurts', no 'fear', no 'worry', no 'gain', no 'loss', no 'loneliness', no 'suffering', no 'end of suffering'.

Selflessness is not the opposite of selfishness. Selflessness is not unselfishness.

Selflessness is nothing to do with being unselfish or being free from selfishness.

There is no 'I' existing to be identified as selfish being, or "I am selfish".

There is no 'I' existing to be identified as unselfish being, or "I am not selfish".

Upon the realization of selflessness, there is no selfishness or unselfishness.

There's no "I want/don't want to be selfish".

The one who is being selfish or unselfish is just the mind that hasn't realized selflessness, that is functioning under the influence of ignorance and egoism, that give rise to separateness, discrimination, connection, relationship, superiority, inferiority, selfishness, greed, pride, shame, hurts, unrest, fear, worry, offensiveness, defensiveness, and etc, while acting and reacting under the influence of egoism being determined by all these defilement, either wittingly or unwittingly.

Be free.

Real love is free from bitterness, dissatisfaction, disappointment, anger and hatred

It’s very common to see unhappiness, bitterness, dissatisfaction, disappointment, anger and hatred exist in many of the love relationships. That is because people don’t really love the person who is in the relationship with them, but they only love what they like and want from the relationship, or from the person who are in a relationship with them. These people don’t even love themselves. They expect the ‘appropriate’ treatment and behavior from the person in the relationship with them to give them the love, the attention, the commitment, the companionship, the treatment, the satisfaction and the happiness exactly the way that how they like it to be, or the way that they think it should be, to make them feel good and happy, to feel that they are well-loved and well-deserved. If they are not getting what they like and want from the person in the relationship with them, or they are not getting what they want and what they think they deserved from the relationship, and they are getting something that they don’t like and don’t want, or are getting something that they think they don’t deserve to be getting, they feel unhappy, bitter, dissatisfied, disappointed and angry. They think that their relationship is not good. They think that the person in the relationship with them is not good enough, or is bad. Or some would think that it’s because themselves are not good enough, or are bad, that they don’t deserve to love and be loved, or to be treated in the ‘right’ way that they think they should be treated.

Most of the time, we think we love someone, but actually, we don’t. We only love what we like and want. We love certain qualities that we perceive about that person and the ‘good’ image that we project onto that person which we like very much. We love what we like and want that we could receive from that person. We love what we like and want that is available to us from being in a relationship with that person.

And hence, we would get very angry and unhappy, or feel hurt, bitter, dissatisfied and disappointed, when the qualities or the image that we like about that person has changed into something else that we don’t like and don’t want, or when we are not getting what we like and want from that person anymore, or when the relationship with that person and the companionship of that person that we love very much is no longer available to us.

Out of feelings of hurt, bitterness, dissatisfaction, disappointment, anger and unhappiness, we would do things and say things that would hurt ourselves and hurt the person whom we want to love, or whom we think we love very much and those whom he or she loves. Where is love? There’s no love. Only bitterness, dissatisfaction, disappointment, anger and hatred when we are losing what we like and want, when we don’t get what we like and want, and are getting what we don’t like and don’t want.

Real love is unconditional, being free from bitterness, dissatisfaction, disappointment, anger and hatred. We love the person as he is, as she is. We only wish him or her will have peace and happiness, even though he or she doesn’t love us (anymore), or doesn’t want to be in a relationship with us (anymore). We don’t have to allow ourselves to be abused or taken for granted, but, we could allow other people to love us, or not; to be nice to us, or not; want to be in a relationship with us, or not. Other people have the freedom to treat us the way that how they want to treat us. Other people have the freedom to behave the way that how they want to behave. We have the freedom to choose how we want to react towards other people's behavior, actions and reactions.

It is our own responsibility if we want to react with ill-thinking, ill-feelings, ill-will, and we want to feel hurt, or bitter, or dissatisfied, or disappointed, or angry. It is not because other people's behavior is bad or wrong.

How could we say "I love you" and "Since I love you so much, why don't you appreciate my love for you and why do you disappoint me and betray my love for you?" and "Why don't you love me the way that I like it to be, or how I deserve to be loved?" when we would do things and say things that would hurt him or her out of bitterness, dissatisfaction, disappointment, anger and hatred when we are not getting what we like and want from him or her, or from the relationship we have with him or her? Or we would have ill-will for the person whom we 'love' very much, we wish him or her should be punished or suffered for being 'bad' to us, when he or she doesn't want to love us, or doesn't want to be in a relationship with us (anymore)? Because we don't really love them at all if we would react with ill-will, bitterness, dissatisfaction, disappointment, anger and hatred in a relationship.

We expect that "I love you, you should also love me in return." and "I am very good to you, you should also be good to me." and "I uphold my commitment, duties and responsibilities towards you in our relationship, you should also uphold your commitment, duties and responsibilities towards me in our relationship."

It is not other people or the relationship we have with them is bad and wrong that disappoints us. We are disappointed by our own expectation towards other people or the relationships we have with them. We don't know what is love or how to love. We are being conditioned or brain-washed by our family cultural practice, or religious teachings, or social medias about how people should behave, about give and take, about relationships, and about code of conducts. We expect everyone should follow the same orders and code of conducts. That is what making us so unhappy and dissatisfied in any relationships, as we expect people should behave in certain ways and all relationships should be in certain ways, and if they don't turn out to be the way that how we expect them to be, or how we think they should be, we are unhappy and dissatisfied.

We have the right and freedom on how we want to react and feel. There's nothing wrong if we want to feel hurt, bitter and angry. But know that it's coming from our own reactions towards something that we don't like, don't want and don't agree with. It's not coming from other people being bad and wrong.

Most people don't like to hear all these. They just want to blame everything and everyone to be responsible for their reactions of unhappiness, dissatisfaction, disappointment, bitterness, feelings of hurt, anger and hatred towards something that they don't like and don't want. There's no freedom and there's so much tension in oneself or in all our relationships with anyone, when we want to love others, or be loved by others.

And thus, those who know what is love and how to love, there’s no complaint, or criticism, or talk bad about their partners that they are not good enough, or are bad, even if they are really not good, or are really bad. Only those who don’t really love their partner would want to complain, criticize and talk bad about their partners out of dissatisfaction, disappointment, bitterness, unhappiness, anger and hatred because they are not getting what they like and want, but they are getting what they don’t like and don’t want. And they want to get agreement and support from other people by complaining to other people about their disappointment and unhappiness, to prove to themselves and other people that “I am good enough to deserve to be treated in a better way or in the right way, and it’s because my partner is not good, or is bad, and he or she doesn’t appreciate ‘my love’ and ‘what I’ve done’ for him or her, that is giving me problems and unhappiness, that is hurting me, or making me angry and miserable.”

Democracy?

Democracy is neither something good nor bad. It depends on the states of the minds of the majority of the population of the nations in the world.

If the majority of the population are free from ignorance and egoism, they will have clear understanding about life existence, and can make the appropriate decisions and choices for the welfare and well-being of the people, the nation and the world, without being influenced by any conditioned thinking and beliefs, self-interests or selfish desires, then the world will be heading towards prosperity, peace and harmony under the system of democracy.

If the majority of the population are influenced by ignorance and egoism, they don't have clear understanding about life existence, and can't make the appropriate decisions and choices for the welfare and well-being of the people, the nation and the world, as they are under the influence of conditioned thinking and beliefs, self-interests or selfish desires, and they are easily being manipulated by other people who want to be in power and who also have their own selfish interests and greedy desires, then the situation of the world will be heading towards deeper ignorance, unrest and problematic.

It's a fact that there are not many people are free from ignorance and egoism, and there are too many people are influenced by ignorance and egoism in the present time. Even when many people think that they are good and righteous people based on what they believe is good and right, and some people think that they are somehow better and smarter human beings than many others, it's not necessarily that what they think and believe, and what they want, is the best for upkeeping the welfare and well-being of the people of the nations in the world, if they are not free from ignorance, egoism, attachment, identification, desires, craving and aversion.

Everyone has to somehow get along with what democracy brings to the world whether they agree or disagree with the good and bad decisions, right and wrong choices made by the majority of the population. They have to respect the decisions and choices made by the majority of the population even though they can't accept or agree with these choices.

If people are influenced by ignorance and egoism, they will attach strongly onto their specific thinking and beliefs, and over-powering by self-interests and desires of craving and aversion influenced by their likes and dislikes, agreements and disagreements based on what they believe what things are, and they are easily being influenced and manipulated by other people, they will fall into the game of manipulation of those who want to be in power. Those who want to be in power will give the people whatever they like and want, which are not necessarily good for their welfare or well-being, but then these people will be supporting those who will give them what they want, to be in power to be the leaders of the nations in the world.

Just like the children will be happy and satisfy if we give them sweets whenever they request for sweets, and they will say that we are good people and are nice to them. And the children will do things for us whenever they want us to give them sweets. But, that will ruin the children's well-being in long term. But people who are influenced by ignorance and egoism don't care about the welfare of others.

For example, if majority of the people like and want drugs, those who want to be in power will give them drugs, it doesn't matter when by doing so, they know that it will ruin the welfare and well-being of the people and the nation in long term. They are only interested in using the power given to them to gratify their own selfish desires while they still have the power. They don't care if the people or the nation and the world will fall apart afterwards. They let the drugs numb and dull the people's minds. When people's minds are numbed and dulled, and don't have the clarity of mind to think properly, it will be good for those who want to be in power, as they will continue to get the support and liking from the majority of these people by giving them what they like and want, and there will be less people stand against them because majority of the people's minds are already numbed and dulled and clouded by the effects of the drugs, as well as being addicted to drugs. When people are addicted to drugs, they will do anything for the people who will give them drugs. And those who get in power can do whatever they want to do with the power being given by these majority people who support them to be in power through the system of democracy. This is how the world comes to destruction because of the democracy system is being supported and influenced by the mass of the world population being over-powered by ignorance and egoism, while being manipulated by a group of selfish and greedy people.

Democracy – power to the people and the power of the people. But, are the majority of the people all wise and selfless, or are they being over-powered by ignorance and egoism?
