Let go possessiveness and pride to realize the universal dhamma, or the universal teachings and practice of yoga and buddhism

All minds have the freedom to think, believe, reason, understand, behave, act, react, and express as they are. There is neither right nor wrong, neither good nor bad, even if the different minds have their own particular way of thinking, belief, reasoning, understanding, behavior, action, reaction, desire, and expression that are different from one another, that could be constructive or destructive, beneficial or harmful.

This doesn't mean that constructive and beneficial activities should not be encouraged and empowered, or destructive and harmful activities should be encouraged and empowered.

For the minds that truly want to practice and realize yoga vedanta and/or buddhism, to be free from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, then the teachings here, regardless of agreeable or disagreeable to the different minds, can serve as a reflective object or subject for them to reflect upon.

It is a common and normal trait or behavior of the selfless minds that are functioning under the presence and influence of the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, and restlessness, to develop, possess, and empower the sense of belonging/origin as well as possessiveness/ownership and pride towards many things that the minds think and believe are who they are, where they come from, and what belonged to them, in oneself and among a community, such as their particular personal, family, and communal identity, their origin and background, their ancestry heritage, their culture, their spirituality, their religion, their ethnicity, their belief, their birth place, their nationality, their country, their history, as well as all and everyone and everything that were and are somehow connected or related to what they think and believe is who they are, where they come from, and what belonged to them.

Such as the dhamma, or the teachings and practice of yoga vedanta, or the teachings and practice of buddhism, or the minds that had/have attained direct self realization towards the dhamma, such as Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, or Ajahn Chah, or Swami Sivananda, or some other saints and sages.

The egoistic minds, including the enthusiasts of yoga vedanta and/or buddhism, would think and believe that the dhamma, or yoga vedanta, or buddhism, or Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, or Ajahn Chah, or Swami Sivananda, or certain enlightened buddhas/yogis/gurus/saints and sages who had/have attained direct self realization towards the dhamma or the truth of all and everything, were/are originated from a particular area/location/place/country/region under particular cultural/spiritual/religious background, and that also simultaneously belonged to that particular area/location/place/region/country/nationality/community/ethnicity/culture/spirituality/religion, or the people from that particular area/location/place/country/nationality/community/ethnicity/culture/spirituality/religion would think and believe that yoga vedanta, or buddhism, or the dhamma, or the direct self realization towards the dhamma being realized by certain minds from that particular area and background, should autonomously belong to them and their particular area/location/place/region/country/nationality/community/ethnicity/culture/spirituality/religion.

That is their freedom of thinking, belief, reasoning, understanding, action, reaction, desire, and expression.

For the minds that truly want to practice and realize the dhamma, or yoga vedanta, or buddhism, they need to open their mind, to reflect upon the truth of such thinking, belief, reasoning, understanding, action, reaction, desire, and expression that is based on the egoistic sense of belonging/origin (what and where they come from and belong to) as well as possessiveness/ownership (what and where belonged to them) and pride or shame towards all THAT that they think and believe as good or bad, or pride deserving, or shame deserving.

Just as the planet earth, the livable atmosphere, the nature, the natural resources, the air, the water, the minerals, the nutrients, the plants, all kinds of living organisms, all kinds of non-living objects, the other planets, the sun, the moon, the stars, the universe, the galaxy, all kinds of elements and energy, or the infinite space that hosts all and everything, don't belong to anyone or anything, similarly -

The universal teachings and practice of yoga and buddhism, the universal dhamma/the universal truth of everything, as well as the direct self realization towards the universal dhamma, or the universal truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self in all kinds of names and forms, that was/is being realized by the different selfless minds from different eras in different areas/locations under many different backgrounds, including Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, Swami Sivananda, Ajahn Chah, and many other buddhas, yogis, gurus, saints and sages, where the minds had been or are existing and functioning momentarily under different eras in different areas in the world of many diversities that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, undertaking similar and/or different path(s) and practice(s) under the different names such as yoga vedanta, or buddhism, or some other names, or without any names, but the universal truth, or the universal dhamma, or the universal path of yoga vedanta, or the universal path of buddhism (the names are different, but they all are the same realization towards the truth of all kinds of names and forms), doesn't belong to anyone, or anything, or the minds that had/have attained direct self realization towards the universal truth/dhamma/yoga vedanta/buddhism, not to say, all THAT doesn't belong to any particular area, or region, or country under the particular community/ethnicity/culture/spirituality/religion background where the many different enlightened minds/buddhas/yogis/gurus/saints and sages were/are born, or lived/live in, or had/have attained enlightenment.

The self realized liberated minds/buddhas/yogis/gurus were/are the selfless minds that had/have attained direct self realization towards the universal truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self, that exists along with the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self existence and function of all and everyone and everything, that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, upon the annihilation/silence of the restless impure egoistic modification of the mind under the presence of conscious and semi-conscious awareness upon the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness, a.k.a. the absence of the idea of 'I' (the ego/self acknowledgement/sense of separateness between 'I' and 'not I' or 'others'), egoism, impurities, and restlessness, a.k.a. the natural veil of ignorance, not only effortlessly and naturally in the state of unconsciousness, but more importantly and particularly, upon the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness.

Upon the state of consciousness/semi-consciousness, there is the natural conscious/semi-conscious continuous stream of countless idea/thought of 'I' (the ego/self acknowledgement/sense of separateness) arising and passing away, that gives rise to egoism and the by-products of countless and various impurities, that gives rise to the restless conscious/semi-conscious thought activities/actions/reactions/desires/state of mind, which is what restlessness or the veil of ignorance is about, where the veil of ignorance doesn't exist in the state of unconsciousness/deep sleep/coma, but only manifests naturally as it is, upon the states of consciousness/wakefulness and semi-consciousness/semi-awake/semi-sleep/dream, except for the minds that are born autistic, where there is absence/non-development of the ego/the idea of 'I'/self acknowledgement/sense of separateness biologically, effortlessly, and naturally, even in the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness.

It doesn't mean that the other egoistic impure restless minds that didn't realize or haven't realized the universal truth, are not selfless minds/buddhas/yogis/gurus.

All minds are buddhas/yogis/dhamma. All and everything are dhamma/the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self. All and everything are the teachings and the teachers, or the gurus of dhamma.

The selfless minds that didn't attain/haven't attained the direct self realization towards the universal truth/dhamma/yoga vedanta/buddhism, are merely the buddhas/yogis/dhamma that are veiled and yet to be realized by the minds themselves, that was/is unknown to the selfless minds that were/are functioning under the presence and influence of the veil of ignorance upon the states of consciousness and semi-consciousness.

The universal dhamma or the universal truth of everything and both the self realized ego-less quiet selfless minds and the non-realized/haven't yet-realized egoistic impure restless selfless minds, are untouched/uncontaminated/unaffected/undetermined/unchanged/undamaged/unhurt by the presence and absence of the veil of ignorance in the restless impure egoistic modification of the minds, although activities being generated under the influence of the veil of ignorance can cause unnecessary impactful damages/suffering unto all and everyone and everything.

Regardless of realized or non-realized/haven't yet realized, liberated or non-liberated/haven't yet liberated, pure or impure, kind or unkind, selfish or unselfish, wise or ignorant, constructive or destructive, peaceful or peaceless, enjoying or suffering, all selfless minds are the dhamma/the truth itself, and the minds are still what they are, as they are, or the dhamma/the truth is still what it is, as it is. All minds are selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

The universal truth of all kinds of names and forms are selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, doesn't change and is permanent and timeless before/during/after the manifestation of all kinds of names and forms manifesting and changing, arising and passing away, under respective cause and pace.

All minds are buddhas/yogis/dhamma, but there is no permanent independent infinite immortal individual self existence in the minds to be identifying as buddhas/yogis/dhamma.

All minds are selfless. The minds don't evolve and become selfless. All kinds of names and forms, regardless of living organisms or non-living objects, are all selfless, as well as impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

To know Thyself, or the self-inquiry inquiring towards "Who/What am I?" is about the realization towards the mind, the body, and all and everything that the mind perceives through the senses via the sense organs, are all selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self, where there is no existence of a permanent independent infinite immortal individual self existence of an unique individual identity/soul/spirit/consciousness that has been ignorantly and reluctantly undergoing endless rounds of different separate mortal life existences of different body and mind under different momentary identities, transitioning between many different realms/worlds/spheres endlessly due to the ceaseless generation and accumulation of boundless 'good/bad/neutral karma' or 'merits and virtues or sins'.

However, under the influence of the veil of ignorance, especially in the beginning of the path of yoga and/or buddhism, it is normal and nothing wrong that most minds would naturally non-understand or even misunderstand about the essential self-inquiry towards "Who/What am I?" is about finding, recognizing, knowing, reconnecting with, re-identifying with, regaining, recovering, or returning to our original true identity of who/what we really are.

The minds are naturally being ignorant towards the truth of itself/Thyself, due to the presence and influence of the veil of ignorance, which is a natural phenomena or manifestation in the selfless impermanent limited and conditional modification of the perceptive cognitive intellectual emotional thinking and acting mind/faculty upon the presence of conscious and semi-conscious awareness under the state of consciousness and semi-consciousness, that hinders the mind from seeing the truth of itself, which is the same truth in all kinds of names and forms that the mind perceives through the senses via the organs of the senses, where all and everything, regardless of sentient and non-sentient/mobile and immobile living organisms or non-living objects, are all selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

All the genuine and highly determined, attentive, intelligent, and knowledgeable scientists or biologists who have been studying and researching enthusiastically and one-pointedly towards the science of the human body and mind as well as the science of all and everything in the surrounding environment 'should' know this, especially under the help of many innovative tools being invented under advance science and technology, unless the mind is still being conditioned by certain existing inherited/adopted/developed/empowered worldly egoistic cultural/spiritual/religious/personal/family/communal/regional/national/political/commercial/philosophical/traditional/non-traditional new age ideas/beliefs/values/practices/aspirations in the mind, to reason and understand everything in certain way and not in certain way.

Not only the minds of the highly intelligent and knowledgeable scientists and biologists, but all minds, regardless of where they were/are and what type of background they come from or have, they can realize the truth of the selfless impermanent limited conditional momentary life existence and function of the mortal body and mind that is non-self, that doesn't even belong to the body and mind itself, if there is the conscious/semi-conscious perception towards endless painful suffering and fleeting pleasurable enjoyment that are all impermanent, limited, and conditional, and have the intense yearning towards attaining liberation from ignorance and the by-products of all kinds of painful suffering that are unnecessary, via the direct self realization towards the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self, under the conscious/semi-conscious state of mind that is rendered quiet/silent/clear/absence of the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, or restless thought current/activities/state of mind.

There is absence of pleasurable enjoyment or painful suffering in the minds that are either functioning under the absence of conscious and semi-conscious awareness under the state of unconsciousness/deep sleep/coma, or are functioning under the absence of the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, and restlessness not only in the state of unconsciousness/deep sleep/coma, but even under the presence of conscious/semi-conscious awareness under the state of consciousness/semi-consciousness, either effortlessly and naturally being born autistic biologically or via the persistent engagement in conscious effort/practice/observation to render the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self modification of the mind quiet/silent/clear/one-pointed/focused within/desireless via ceaseless conscious effort/perseverance/determination of thinning-out/weakening/annihilating the ego and egoism, as well as their by-products of various impurities and restless thought current/process/activities, or state of mind, that both fed by and feeding the idea of 'I' and egoism, that forms and empowers the veil of ignorance.

That is why the dhamma/the truth/yoga vedanta/buddhism is universal. It is what all and everyone and everything are, that are manifested and come under different qualities of names and forms that are impermanent, limited, and conditional, that don't even belong to the names and forms themselves, but that also don't belong to anyone or anything, and it is unlimited, unconditional, timeless, and changeless, being unaffected, unchanged, uncontaminated, undamaged, or unlimited and unconditioned by any qualities of names and forms that come and go, that arise, change, and pass away under respective cause and pace.

The minds that have attained direct self realization towards the universal truth/dhamma/yoga vedanta/buddhism, there is naturally the correct understanding/absolute knowledge/wisdom of all and everyone and everything don't belong to oneself, or anyone, or anything, where there is no grasping, attachment, identification, sense of belonging, possessiveness/ownership, or pride/shame towards the momentary impermanent existence and function of the body and mind, or anyone, or anything.

The minds also understand that the knower and the knowledge are non-separated (oneness/non-duality/non-separateness). The knower is the knowledge itself. The knower knows Thyself. Without the knower, there is no knowledge, and vice versa. Similarly, the perceiver and the perceived, the thinker and the thinking, the experiencer and the experience, the projector and the projection, the awareness and the objects of awareness, the enjoyer and the objects of enjoyment, or the sufferer and the objects of suffering.

Under the influence of the veil of ignorance, the restless impure egoistic minds think and believe and desire that the truth/dhamma/yoga/buddhism belong to them, as they were/are born and/or lived/live in the same area/region/country as the self realized or enlightened buddhas/yogis/gurus, that should also simultaneously belong to that (their) particular country under that (their) particular nationality/community/ethnicity/culture/spirituality/religion/belief.

The egoistic minds of the human beings from different areas/regions/countries of the similar or different cultures/spiritualities/religions/beliefs would have the sense of possessiveness/ownership and pride towards the dhamma/yoga vedanta/buddhism, while claiming that the dhamma/yoga vedanta/buddhism originated from and belonged to their particular area/region/country/nationality/community/culture/spirituality/religion/belief.

The possessive prideful minds argue with the others who also claimed possessiveness/ownership/pride towards the dhamma/yoga vedanta/buddhism, and are being offensive/defensive about the dhamma, or yoga vedanta, or buddhism was/is originated from and belonged to their particular area/country/nationality/community/ethnicity/culture/spirituality/religion/belief, where the people/the minds would get over-whelmed by the ongoing heated arguments and become highly disturbed/offended/dissatisfied/disappointed/upset/angry/violent towards each other in the process to prove/convince that the dhamma, or yoga vedanta, or buddhism was/is originated from and belonged to them and their particular area/region/country/nationality/community/ethnicity/culture/spirituality/religion/belief.

The presence of such idea/thinking/belief/behavior/action/reaction in the minds/people only indicates that such minds/people don't know/haven't realized towards the dhamma, or yoga vedanta, or buddhism, which is ONE under different names, which is universal, which doesn't belong to anyone or anything (not even belongs to 'all of us'), which is centered in the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self, where the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self momentary existence and function of the body and mind existing and functioning under different states of consciousness doesn't even belong to the body and mind itself, or the momentary existence and function of all kinds of names and forms doesn't even belong to the names and forms themselves, as well as the core teachings and practice is about the annihilation/absence of ignorance, the ego, egoism, and restless boundless impurities of the egoistic sense of belonging/possessiveness/ownership/separateness, grasping, clinging, attachment, identification, selfishness, self-esteem and self-worth, pride and shame, superiority and inferiority, craving and aversion, comparison, competition, judgment, expectation, discontentment, greed, dissatisfaction, disappointment, offensiveness, defensiveness, envy, jealousy, irritation, frustration, anger, hatred, violence, intimidation, argument, fighting, back-biting, slandering, shaming, blaming, and etc.

Even though Siddhartha Gautama Buddha was born in the area that is named Lumbini in the country of Nepal, and he had been travelling around different areas and attained self realization in the area that is named Bodhgaya in the country of India, buddhism and the dhamma/the truth of everything don't come from or belong to Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, or Lumbini (the birth place of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha), or Bodhgaya (The place where the direct self realization of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha took place), or any other minds that knew/know Thyself via conscious self-initiation, self-effort, self-inquiry, and self realization from any particular era, in any particular area.

There is no 'our' dhamma, 'our' buddhas, 'our' yogis, 'our' yoga vedanta, 'our' buddhism, 'our' Swami Sivananda, 'our' Ajahn Chah, 'our' Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, or 'our' saints and sages, if the minds are free from the presence and influence of the veil of ignorance.

Although there is absolutely nothing wrong and it is highly beneficial to all and everything in this world of many diversities that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, for certain people/individuals/community/organization/government/country actively and enthusiastically promoting buddhism or yoga vedanta in those particular areas/locations/places/countries or any where under the name of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, or Swami Sivananda, or Ajahn Chah, or any other enlightened saints and sages that were/are born in those areas or anywhere, that had lived and moved around/have been living and moving around in those areas or anywhere, that had/have attained enlightenment in those areas or anywhere, even if it is under the intention of promoting tourism for economic growth in those areas/places/countries/people/community, with the correct understanding of "The universal dhamma, the teachings and practice of buddhism and/or yoga vedanta, Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, Swami Sivananda, Ajahn Chah, or any other self realized buddhas/yogis/minds/saints and sages from any eras and areas, don't belong to anyone or anything. And all minds, regardless of all kinds of differences, from any eras and areas, can practice and realize the universal dhamma, or buddhism, or yoga vedanta."

Similarly, yoga vedanta has the background of Hinduism, where many great buddhas, yogis, and gurus were/are from Hinduism background, but it doesn't mean that yoga vedanta came from and belonged to Hinduism or Hindus, or all Hindus are practicing yoga vedanta, or only Hindus can practice and realize yoga vedanta, where the realization of the dhamma or the truth of all kinds of names and forms is the same in both yoga vedanta and buddhsim - Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, Non-self.

Where the teachings/observation/practice are the same - Non-grasping/Non-dualism/Non-separateness/Oneness/Silence/Unconditional peace/Wisdom/Kindness/Non-violence/The middle path/Renunciation/Dispassion/Desirelessness/Non-craving and Non-aversion/Simplicity/Non-greed/Non-possessiveness, and etc.

Where the subject and object is non-separated and both the same selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

Where it is all about - The mind and The conquest/silent of the restless egoistic impure modification of the mind by the mind itself.

The minds that claimed that yoga or buddhism originated from and that belonged to particular being(s)/person(people)/mind(s)/community/ethnicity/spirituality/religion/belief/culture/era/area/region/country/nationality/organization/authority, they didn't/don't know or understand about the existence and function of the teachings and practices of yoga vedanta and/or buddhism, as well as the universal dhamma, or the truth of selflessness, impermanence, limitation, conditional, and non-self being realized by the minds either under the name of 'yoga vedanta', or 'buddhism', or 'some other names and forms', or nameless and formless, are universal, that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, that is unlimited by or in any particular name and form, but it exists along within all and everyone and everything of any qualities of names and forms, in any eras, and anywhere in this space that doesn't belong to anyone or anything.

If without the selfless impermanent limited conditional and non-self momentary existence and function of all kinds of names and forms existing and functioning as what they are, what is the truth of names and forms, and vice versa?

And there is neither right nor wrong, and it is the freedom of all minds for their particular thinking, belief, reasoning, understanding, behavior, action, reaction, desire, and expression about anything and everything.

The minds that are open, will start to see the dhamma, or yoga vedanta, or buddhism as it is, devoid of grasping, identification, possessiveness/ownership, or pride, not to say, the egoistic reaction of being offended, disturbed, upset, angry, hating, or violent towards something disagreeable/undesirable deriving from the presence of grasping, identification, possessiveness, or pride.

The minds that are not open, will naturally react and feel offended, disturbed, upset, angry, hating, and violent towards anything or anyone that is contradicting or different from their particular thinking, belief, reasoning, and understanding, and the presence of such reaction only indicates that they don't know/understand or haven't realized the universal dhamma, or yoga vedanta, or buddhism as it is.

Such minds are being conditioned to think and believe, "There is only one truth, and that is our truth deriving from and belonged to our people, our community, our ethnicity, our country, our nationality, our culture, our spirituality, our religion, our ancestors, our gurus, our teachers, our saints and sages, or our enlightened buddhas/yogis. Our truth is the one and only truth," while be disturbed, dissatisfied, upset, angry, hating, and violent by thinking and believing that their truth is somehow being disrespected, offended, contaminated, damaged, or hurt by something or someone that is different from or contradicting to their truth.

If it is really the universal truth, it is universal, it doesn't belong to anyone or anything, and it cannot be determined, affected, contaminated, offended, disrespected, humiliated, damaged, hurt, altered, or changed by anything or anyone.

If it is the universal truth, it is not limited to or constrained by any particular era, area, location, position, quality, name and form, region, country, nationality, community, individual, culture, spirituality, religion, belief, or anything.
