Inquire towards reincarnation

Inquire the truth of everything, including all kinds of teachings coming from anyone and anywhere, including all that is here.

The main teachings and practice of Buddhism and/or Yoga, is about performing self-inquiry to be inquiring towards "Who am 'I', or more precisely, what is the 'I' that the thinking in the mind thinks and believes, or acknowledges and identifies as 'I'?

The mind needs to be engaging in diligent and persevered mind purification process to eliminate the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, and restlessness, that enables the mind to perform self inquiry and attain self realization towards the truth of "Who am I?", or what is the self identity of 'I' that exists in all selfless minds, without the influence of worldly egoistic ideas, attachments, identifications, beliefs, values, desires, aspirations, ambitions, visions, and practices, that also leads to the inquiry and direct realization towards the truth of all and everything that are selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

The annihilation of the ego, or the absence of the idea of an illusive finite 'I' from the selfless modification of the mind, will also lead the minds towards the direct self realization towards the truth of Selflessness, that there is NO immortal infinite existence of any particular permanent independent unchanging individual identity of an unique infinite I existing in all kinds of names and forms, including all kinds of sentient and non-sentient living organisms or beings, not to say, in all other kinds of non-living objects. Upon the realization towards the truth of Selflessness, who or what is there that is infinite and immortal to be undergoing 'the endless loop of ceaseless births and deaths or reincarnations'?

The direct self realization towards the truth of Selflessness, will also lead to the realization towards Impermanence, which will also lead to the realization towards the truth of Timelessness, where time doesn't exist. There is only the illusive idea of time that is merely the reflection of ceaseless impermanent changes of forming/growing/changing/decaying/disintegrating/passing away/movements/activities in all kinds of names and forms in NOW, where all kinds of selfless impermanent limited and conditional existence of all kinds of names and forms is only and can only be in NOW, it is never beyond NOW, or it is not before and after NOW. Where certain names and forms had ceased existing and decomposed in NOW, while certain names and forms are forming and arising in NOW, while certain names and forms that are existing are undergoing ceaseless impermanent changes of growth/ceased growing/decay/malfunctioning/disintegration in NOW, while certain names and forms are in the process of passing away or decomposing or ceased existing in NOW. There is neither past nor future in NOW. Whatever that are happening in NOW, are the consequences/effects of the existing impactful actions/causes. This realization will allow the minds to choose or decide what type of impactful action/cause that is being generated in NOW, diligently, under the presence of correct understanding, or wisdom, devoid of ignorance and the by-products of ignorance.

Upon the realization of Timelessness, what is 'The endless loop of ceaseless births and deaths of countless reincarnations of beginningless past lives, momentary present life, and endless future lives of any particular infinite immortal individual identity transitioning in different realms/spheres'?

The basic and essential teachings and practice of both yoga and buddhism, is about non-grasping, or non-attachment and non-identification towards all kinds of names and forms, as well as letting go all kinds of existing multiple individual and group identifications with the many different qualities of names and forms, of family and community lineage and heritage, ties and connections, genetic traits, tribes, castes, gender, duty and responsibility, spiritual/cultural/religious beliefs, values, practices, desires, visions, inspirations, aspirations, ideas, feelings, emotions, knowledge, intellect, talents, efforts and the fruit of efforts, happy or unhappy and desirable or undesirable relationships/interactions/affairs/experiences/memories/imaginations/anticipations, the physical body and the thinking mind regardless of the impermanent good or bad and perfect or imperfect condition/state and the efficiency or inefficiency of the different physical and mental functions/mechanisms, the ignorance and the by-products of ignorance, titles, professions, sense of belonging, sense of self-esteem and self-worth, birth place, place of living, nationality, citizenship, possessiveness towards lands and space or buildings and objects, relationships and/or friendships accumulation, qualifications and certifications, recognition, acknowledgement, achievements, contributions, as well as all kinds of pleasurable enjoyments and/or painful sufferings, that are non-self, that don't belong to 'I', that are not 'I', and there is no permanent independent infinite immortal self existence or self identity of 'I' existing to be undergoing selfless impermanent changes of the body and mind, or to be identifying as this and that, as well as what many minds believed as ceaseless reincarnations of a permanent independent infinite immortal self existence of 'I' undergoing ceaseless reincarnations to be reincarnating into countless different life existences under different qualities of names and forms, transitioning in different realms or spheres in accordance to the endless and boundless past accumulated 'karma'.

Upon the direct self realization towards the truth of Selflessness in all and everything, one will realize towards the truth of "ceaseless reincarnations reincarnating into different qualities of names and forms transitioning in different realms" that exists in particular worldly egoistic cultural/spiritual/religious belief, values, practice, and understanding, where there is not any permanent independent infinite self existence or self identity of 'I' existing in the body and mind, to be undergoing impermanent changes, not to say, to be undergoing what many minds believed as "ceaseless reincarnations under countless different life existences of different names and forms in different realms" under particular belief, values, practice, and understanding that come with specific reason/intention/aspiration/vision, under the presence of certain intense physical, mental, and emotional attachment and identification towards certain names and forms.

The realization towards the truth of Impermanence, of ceaseless selfless impermanent changes in all and everything, enables the mind to realize timelessness, where there's neither past nor future, there is only NOW, and everything in NOW is constantly changing, where time is merely the reflection of ceaseless selfless impermanent changes/growth/decay/disintegration/activities/movements that are non-self, where there is not a continuous permanent unchanging independent self existence of an infinite immortal 'I' that exists in any kind of names and forms, to be in control of all and everything to be or not to be in certain way, where all and everyone and everything are existing/happening, changing, and ceased existing under the nature's law of cause and effect (generated by the selfless actions and consequences of actions being generated by each selfless mind and all selfless minds that had been existing and had ceased existing, as well as that are still existing, in NOW.)

There is no permanent unchanging independent self existence of an infinite immortal 'I' to be influencing or to be in control of all and everything to be or not to be in certain way, or to be responsible for the cause and effect deriving from the ceaseless selfless actions and consequences of actions being generated by the selfless body and mind, it doesn't mean that the selfless body and mind is not responsible towards all its ceaseless selfless actions and consequences of actions, that gives rise to ceaseless cause and effect. The selfless body and mind is indeed the one that is responsible for the cause and effect deriving from its ceaseless selfless actions and consequences of actions, that are influencing all and everything to be or not to be in certain way, up to certain extend, under the selfless support of the selfless energy and selfless elements for everything to be happening and changing as they are.

"All actions/activities generated by all and everyone are selfless actions/activities, regardless of wholesome or unwholesome actions or activities." Selfless actions/activities doesn't mean unselfish and wholesome actions or activities. Selflessness is completely unrelated to selfishness or unselfishness, kindness or unkindness, compassion or non-compassion, wholesomeness or unwholesomeness, constructive or destructive, hurtful or non-hurtful, good or evil, and etc. Selflessness is merely the truth of all and everyone and everything, where there is no permanent unchanging independent self existence/identity of 'I' in all and everything that are selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self. All selfless body and mind are performing selfless actions/activities under the presence of wisdom a.k.a. the absence of ignorance, or under the presence of ignorance a.k.a. the absence of wisdom (correct understanding), that can be constructive or destructive. - The minds need to attain direct self realization towards Selflessness to truly understand this.

"You are such a selfless person, and representing selflessness, because you did so much good and kind actions and activities for benefiting and comforting so many others who are in painful suffering in the world," is incorrect statement, even though there is nothing wrong and very good to be complimenting someone who is unselfish and has been performing many good and kind actions and activities that promote unselfishness, kindness, non-violence, peace, wisdom, and compassion in this world of many suffering minds.

All and everyone and everything are selfless, including all sentient living beings and non-living object, and even the most selfish, violent, cruel, ignorant, hurtful, destructive, and evil people in the world, are also selfless beings.

The selfless body and mind under the presence of correct understanding devoid of ignorance, can be choosing what type of action and inaction that will give rise to what type of cause and effect, that is influencing the selfless body and mind, and the surrounding environment that doesn't belong to anyone or anything, to be or not to be in certain way, to be more or less healthy or unhealthy, to be more or less peaceful or peaceless, that would be beneficial or harmful for all and everyone and everything that are all selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self.

Who or what is undergoing "ceaseless reincarnations" to be reincarnated into another existence under different names and forms, or under different physical bodies and minds, or under different life existences, before and after this particular life existence in NOW?

Only upon the mind attains direct self realization towards Selflessness, or knowing Thyself, or knowing "Who am 'I' or What is 'I'?", or knowing what is the thinking mind and the restless modification of the mind, will allow the mind to know what is "The ceaseless reincarnations transforming into many different names and forms transitioning in between different realms/spheres in NOW in this selfless, impermanent, limited, conditional, and non-self life existence of a momentary mortal body and mind", that is nothing to do with "A permanent independent infinite immortal individual self existence/identity of 'I' that has been undergoing endless 'reincarnation' of ceaselessly reincarnating into countless different impermanent momentary life forms/existences/names and forms, undergoing endless loop of countless births and deaths of countless different life forms/existences/names and forms, transitioning in different realms/spheres under the influence of boundless and endless past accumulated good, or bad, or neither good nor bad, or both good and bad 'karma', or even by self 'organizing' of choosing the next body and mind to be reincarnating into," that exists in certain worldly egoistic cultural/spiritual/religious ideas, beliefs, values, intentions, desires, visions, and practices.

That is neither right nor wrong, neither good nor bad.

As the thinking and belief in the selfless mind is so powerful, where it influences the mind to be or not to be in certain way (the different impermanent states of mind), where the selfless mind is indeed the one that is responsible for creating its own particular reality/realm/sphere to be in, in NOW, not in another different life forms/existences/names and forms before and after NOW.

For the many minds that believe in the existence of an immortal and infinite pure individual soul under certain belief, values, and practice, where they believe in the individual soul is permanent, independent, pure, immortal, and infinite, that is who they really are, that is the one who is undergoing ceaseless births and deaths of ceaseless reincarnations reincarnating into ceaseless and countless different life existences transitioning in different realms, unwittingly, either in accordance to the past accumulated karma (that is completely nothing to do with the pure soul that is immortal and infinite, but have been generated by the impure mind under the impure body that is finite, momentary, mortal, limited, and conditional), or being judged under the judgment of a superior entity, upon death of the impure mortal body and mind. That is the freedom of thinking and belief of all minds. There is neither right nor wrong, neither good nor bad in all kinds of different thinking and beliefs. They have their own reasons to be existing as what they are.

Siddhartha Gautama Buddha 'deliberately' didn't comment or mention anything about 'the soul' that exists in many different beliefs, whether it exists or doesn't exist, whether it is something true or untrue, which that itself (non-commenting about that) alone, initiates and enables the minds to be inquiring and attaining the truth of Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self in all kinds of names and forms, all by oneself, via one's own effort and inquiry and realization.

There is no doubt that, "The truth is always what it is, or the dhamma cannot be contaminated by anything," however, Siddhartha Gautama Buddha knew that the teachings or the dhamma that are being documented and conserved under certain names and forms, and which will be studied, propagated, interpreted, or translated by the minds that are not free from ignorance, egoism, impurities, and restlessness, will definitely be contaminated/misinterpreted/mistranslated/manipulated by the minds that are functioning under the influence of ignorance and the by-products of ignorance, as well as under certain impure intentions/aspirations/ambitions/visions, and hence, he emphasized on not having the teachings/the dhamma to be conserved/documented under any form, but only giving certain guidelines/observations for activating the mind purification and silencing process, where all and everyone must perform self inquiry to attain direct self realization towards the truth of all kinds of names and forms, or the dhamma, under a purified and calmed mind.

Buddhism is not at all about building and empowering leadership to be leading a group of followers or admirers.

Do not follow, admire, or glorify anyone and anything, not to say, do not blind-believe, blind-follow, blind-agree/disagree, blind-practice, blind-glorify, and blind-propagate anyone and anything.

All must learn how to purify and quiet the restless impure egoistic mind stuff, and to perform self inquiry to be inquiring towards the truth of all and everything, including all kinds of 'buddhism' teachings under certain names and forms coming from anywhere and anyone. And hence, the highly importance of, "Thus as I heard" in front of all kinds of Buddhism teachings from anywhere and anyone.

During the first hand direct teachings coming from Siddhartha Gautama Buddha himself unto anyone, he taught all and everyone to inquire the truth of all and everything under a purified and calmed mind, including all and everything that came directly from him, not to say, all kinds of documented/translated/interpreted teachings that are most probably contaminated by worldly egoistic ideas, beliefs, values, practices, desires, ambitions, and intentions, in order to attain direct self realization towards the truth of everything (the dhamma), all by oneself, via one's own effort, inquiry, and realization, including everything that he taught to the people during his momentary life existence. He didn't and never claimed and taught to the people, "I have realized the truth. This is the truth. You must believe that this is the truth. If you don't believe in this truth, and if you have any doubt or questioning towards this truth, then it is disrespectful and insulting towards the truth and the teachers, which is really bad karma, and you will be punished, and you will suffer."

The truth of things is not a belief. The truth is still what it is, it doesn't change into something else, it is timeless, it cannot be contaminated, or altered, or damaged, or hurt, or insulted, and it never increase or decrease, regardless of the different minds thinking and reasoning under different beliefs about whether they know or don't know, agree or disagree, believe or disbelieve, practice or don't practice towards this or that about all and everything.

The teachings and practice of Buddhism and Yoga, is about engaging in the mind purification process of annihilating the idea of 'I', egoism, impurities, and restlessness (the veil of ignorance) to be contemplating upon and inquiring towards Selflessness, Impermanence, Limitation, Conditional, and Non-self in all kinds of names and forms, to attain direct self realization towards the teachings or the dhamma.

There is not any infinite immortal self identity that is permanent and independent existing in all kinds of selfless sentient living beings or non-living objects to be undergoing selfless impermanent changes, not to say, to be undergoing "ceaseless reincarnations" of the one same permanent independent infinite individual identity to be reincarnating into another life form or life existence, or into many different life forms or life existences under different names and forms, transitioning in different realms or spheres.

However, there is neither right nor wrong with the specific beliefs and values in particular community that gives rise to 'the traditional practice' of ceaseless intentional 'organized' reincarnations of an important 'specific individual identity of a highly important and influential leader' under specific reason/intention/aspiration/vision, where there will be repeatedly 'a chosen one' that 'has been chosen' by the existing particular leader before the end of this mortal momentary life existence, as well as that 'will be found and identified' by the committee members of the community after the death of that particular leader, to be carrying the highly important duty and responsibility of upholding the influential power of leadership under the one same individual identity, that gives certain degrees of continuous power of leadership, guidance, comfort, and encouragement to that community that had and has been undergoing certain ongoing difficulties physically, mentally, and emotionally for a prolonged extended period, after the death or ceased existence of each and every limited and conditional mortal life existence of 'the one same identity of that particular influential leader', that keeps coming back in another life existence to be continuously leading, guiding, comforting, and encouraging the majority of the community that are 'non-independent', that are highly dependent on a leader, that always 'need to have a leader' to be there, to lead, to guide, to comfort, and to encourage them, and to keep reminding them about non-violence, calmness, and compassion.

Obviously, this practice is not perfect. Because the community were never being taught to be independent, that they always 'not only need a leader or any leader', but even more so, they need to depend on 'that specific leader of one particular identity' to 'keep coming back in another life existence', to continuously leading and guiding the community for endless generations.

It didn't and doesn't help the community to be free from ignorance and the by-products of ignorance.

It didn't and doesn't stop the presence of fear, anger and hatred, or insecurity, bitterness and resentment towards certain individual/people/community/authority, in the majority of the community that are not free from ignorance and the by-products of ignorance.

It didn't and doesn't help the community to be practicing the teachings of Buddhism as it is, to work diligently towards the attainment of direct self realization towards the dhamma, to be free from ignorance and the by-products of ignorance, which is all about to be free from all kinds of worldly egoistic individual and group attachments and identifications that attaching towards and identifying with the many different kinds of qualities of names and forms that are non-self, that are not 'I' or 'mine', that are not 'us' or 'ours', that are not who or what they are, as well as to be letting go the past affairs/events/happenings/experiences, including all that are pleasant, desirable, and agreeable, not to say, especially the ones that are being perceived as undeserving, unpleasant, painful, fearful, sorrowful, hurtful, traumatic, undesirable, and disagreeable. But instead, this practice has been either intentionally or unintentionally empowering egoistic attachment and identification towards all kinds of names and forms that the community have been identifying with as who and what they are, as well as where they belong to and what belongs to them, and what had happened, or has been happening, or is happening unto their community.

Even so, there is neither right nor wrong in this particular practice, as there are many minds that need to be dependent on a 'wise and compassionate' leader to lead and comfort them in this selfless impermanent limited and conditional life existence that has so much unnecessary evitable suffering deriving from ignorance, on top of the existence of certain inevitable suffering just by being existing momentarily, selflessly, impermanently, limitedly, and conditionally, that is non-self, and that needs constant maintenance.

There is always the sense of fear, anger and hatred, or insecurity, bitterness and resentment, in all and everyone in the community that are still not free from the influence of ignorance, regardless of older or younger generations, that are directing towards specific individual or community and authority, which only will be empowering the ignorance and the by-products of ignorance in both parties.

Instead, they all can be free to be what they are and wherever they are, by developing correct understanding or wisdom that lead to unconditional peace in themselves, where they are free from egoistic attachment and identification towards any qualities of names and forms, as well as what is happening in NOW, not to say, whatever that had happened in the past, not being determined or disturbed by the ignorance and the consequences of ignorance of others, and they will no longer need to have a leader to lead them, guide them, comfort them, and encourage them, not to say, the need to have one particular leader that had already ceased existing, but had no choice to 'keep organizing' ceaseless reincarnations of its 'specific identity' in order for the non-independent community to always have a 'wise and compassionate' leader for them to be following, to be guided, to be comforted, and to be encouraged.

The chosen one, regardless of who it is (as it really doesn't matter), upon attaining certain degrees of correct understanding towards the importance of non-violence, calmness, and compassion under the teachings of Buddhism, after practicing the teachings of buddhism from young diligently, as well as learning all and everything about that specific individual identity and the highly important duty and responsibility that was given to him, which he is carrying on his shoulders since the moment of being identified as 'the chosen one', he can only teach, guide, and advice the community as much as possible, about non-violence, calmness, and compassion, to keep away from the engagement in activity or interaction that involved violence, under any conditions and situations, no matter what had happened and what is happening. And it is up to the community whether they understand, or not, and whether they can let go, or not.

If the community can understand and can let go, and move on independently, be free from all kinds of attachments and identifications, regardless of what had happened and what is happening, then there is needless of the 'repeating' existence of 'the chosen one' that has to be one of them (because of the intense egoistic attachment and identification, 'the chosen one' has to be someone from within their own particular community, or else, the community under the influence of ignorance will not have the same faith towards 'the chosen one' that is not one of them), to continue carrying that specific identity, duty, and responsibility of leading, guiding, comforting, and encouraging the majority of the community that are under the influence of ignorance and the by-products of ignorance.

If the majority of the community cannot understand and cannot let go, and are not free from ignorance and the by-products of ignorance, where they perceived the suffering of being the victims of constant bullying, oppression, intimidation, and violence, where the majority of the community continuously need to have not only a leader or any leader, but that specific influential 'wise and compassionate' leader of that specific identity that 'has been reincarnated' many times in different life existences within that particular community, to be there continuously to lead them, guide them, comfort them, and encourage them, to constantly and continuously reminding them about non-violence, calmness, and compassion, to avoid or minimize the engagement in activity or interaction that involved violence as much as possible, then there is neither right nor wrong for continuing that 'traditional practice' of intentional 'organized' ceaseless reincarnations of a 'specific individual identity carrying a huge duty and responsibility' that has certain influential power over the community, even if it didn't, and doesn't help the community to be free from ignorance and the by-products of ignorance.

The minds that truly practice and understand towards the teachings of Buddhism or the dhamma, they are independent and are resting in unconditional peace, being undetermined or undisturbed by the ignorance and the consequences of ignorance of others, devoid of disturbs, hurts, painful sorrow, fear, anger, hatred, insecurity, bitterness, resentment, or violence, under any conditions and situations, being free from egoistic attachment, identification, craving and aversion, judgment, or expectation. They don't need to have a leader or any leader to lead them, guide them, comfort them, or encourage them.

Not being determined or disturbed by the ignorance and the consequences of ignorance of others, or under the presence of wisdom and compassion or non-violence, or the practice of non-grasping/non-attachment/non-identification/non-craving/non-aversion/non-judgment/non-expectation, it doesn't mean that one doesn't or shouldn't move away from any abusive ill treatments of others, or one should receive all kinds of abusive ill treatments in silence, or one shouldn't or doesn't perform selfless actions that will free oneself and maybe some others from continuously be treated with abusive ill treatments by those who are under the influence of ignorance and the by-products of ignorance.

Inquire the truth of everything, including all that is here.

The yoga practice to develop correct understanding and self-independence

What type of yoga do you teach, and what do you teach?

This mind doesn't teach specific type of yoga. This mind guides the minds to develop correct understanding and self-independence, being equipped with the essential elements, basic knowledge and skill to be performing self-practice in solitude without the need of attending ongoing yoga classes to be doing some form of yoga practice under the instructions of somebody, to realize the teacher within and become their own teacher to perform self-inquiry, leading towards the thinning out and the annihilation of ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, and attaining self-realization towards the truth of names and forms - selflessness and impermanence.

There's no specific brand name, or lineage, or style. All paths and different lineages or styles of practice are not separated or distinct from one another, if the practice is leading the mind towards the annihilation of ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, instead of empowering all that.

Who would be learning and practicing yoga to develop correct understanding and self-independence?

For the minds that are completely lost without any awareness towards what is going on in the mind, as they are being over-powered by pride and arrogance, where they are being ignorant towards the presence of ignorance, where they think ignorance doesn't exist in them, while thinking and believing that themselves are somehow more intelligent, knowledgeable, experience and superior than many others, chasing after the gratification of the desires of craving and aversion towards the objects of the senses, that empowers the momentary sense of control, confidence, success, accomplishment, goodness, positiveness, happiness and meaningfulness, where they think they don't need to learn and practice something or do anything to free the mind from ignorance, but somehow, they have the opportunity to come in contact with yoga, and have certain degrees of interest or desire to be learning and practicing yoga, even if it's just for gaining the impermanent benefits for health, fitness and beauty, they can just learn to do some yoga asana, pranayama, meditation or any form of practice under many different brands and styles that they like and prefer, by attending ongoing yoga classes under many brands and styles, until they develop certain degrees of awareness towards the presence of ignorance and restlessness in the mind, or not. There are many yoga and meditation classes in the world to cater for such demand. These minds don't need to learn and practice yoga from this mind, as it would be something very disagreeable, unpleasant, disturbing, offensive, or even extremely painful to them.

For the minds that are lost but not completely, being aware of but not knowing what is really happening in the mind, where they are being aware of the presence of suffering and restlessness, but they are being ignorant towards ignorance and egoism, due to the veil of ignorance and the idea of 'I' occupying the mind, and more importantly, they are being endowed with certain degrees of humility and not being over-powered by pride and arrogance, then they can start with learning some basic yoga asana, pranayama, concentration, relaxation, chanting (sound vibrations), the observation of certain conducive physical and mental activities, and the restraint of certain non-conducive physical and mental activities, as well as basic self-introspection to be observing the selfless impermanent changes in the physical body and in the mind, while incorporating the eradication of egoism and the idea of 'I' into all kinds of actions, connections, interactions, duties and responsibilities in everyday life and in the yoga practice, until they developed the basic awareness towards ignorance and egoism.

For the minds that have certain degrees of awareness towards the presence of ignorance and egoism as well as certain doubt, impurities, suffering and restlessness in the mind, where they are still under the influence and egoism, having certain incorrect understanding and mental/emotional dependency, as they have been being conditioned by certain passionate egoistic thinking, belief, values and practice, and they are still being influenced, determined and disturbed by impurities and restlessness, but somehow, they are being endowed with certain degrees of humility and not being over-powered by pride and arrogance, where they have the initiative or certain degrees of yearning towards attaining the liberation from ignorance, doubt, impurities, suffering and restlessness, they can practice yoga for developing correct understanding and self-independence, by incorporating the eradication of egoism and the idea of 'I' into all kinds of actions, connections, interactions, duties and responsibilities in everyday life and in the yoga practice, and if possible, observing partial or complete renunciation, seclusion, solitude and silence, for a prolonged period, until they developed the correct understanding and self-independence, as well as the important foundation of right discrimination, dispassion, self-control, self-discipline, determination, perseverance, forbearance and the intense yearning towards liberation, that enabling them to realize the one and only teacher within, which is the dispassionate, desireless, disciplined, purified and calmed mind itself, to be performing self-inquiry and mediation towards the attainment of self-realization.

For the minds that have already developed correct understanding and self-independence, where they have the intense yearning towards liberation from ignorance and suffering, where they have firm foundation of self-control and self-discipline, dispassion and right discrimination, desirelessness and contentment, non-attachment, non-identification, non-craving, non-aversion, non-comparison, non-judgment and non-expectation, where they know what is renouncing the fruit of actions, allowing the fruit of actions being what it is, where they have realized the one and only teacher within, where they know how to observe the selfless modifications of the mind, or the mind perception of names and forms arising, changing, and passing away, without attachment or identification, without craving or aversion, without judgment or expectation, without being determined or disturbed by all that, where they know how to perform self-inquiry towards the truth of names and forms under a dispassionate, desireless, disciplined, purified and calmed mind, continuously thinning out the veil of ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, where the mind is resting in unconditional peace without attachment, identification or clinging towards the peaceful state of mind, being uninfluenced, undetermined or undisturbed by all kinds of ignorance and suffering in the world of passionate egoistic beliefs, values, practices, affairs, interactions, activities, ties and connections, and they just need to keep practicing and keep inquiring, keep evolving towards the complete annihilation of ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, void of any doubt and fear, they don't need to learn any particular type of yoga from anyone, or they don't need to practice particular type of yoga under certain instructions or guidance from anyone.

The minds that had attained self-realization, they don't need to practice yoga at all.

What is the awareness towards the ignorance, doubt, suffering and restlessness?

When the mind is aware of itself has certain doubt, or ignorance, or confusion towards certain thing or many things, being aware of itself not knowing the truth of certain thing or many things, and it has the initiative to be free from all doubts, ignorance and confusion.

When the mind is aware of itself is under a state of doubt, disturbance, dissatisfaction, disappointment, fear, worry, anxiety, painful sorrow, hurt, suffering and restlessness, where it is being aware of itself would like to be free from all that, but somehow, it doesn't know how, and it has the initiative to be looking for a way to be free from all that.

What is egoism?

There is an idea of 'I' existing in the selfless perceptive cognitive intellectual thinking mind that is functioning under the veil of ignorance, unwittingly and ceaselessly generates attachment and identification towards the selfless impermanent qualities of names and forms, as 'I' and 'not I', or this is 'I' and that is not 'I', it is other. Under the veil of ignorance and the idea of 'I', the mind thinks and believes that it has a permanent continuous existence of an individual self identity, that itself is existing permanently and independently, that is permanently under going ceaseless loop of births and deaths, either enjoying or suffering, or both.

There is autonomous comparison and judgment towards all kinds of names and forms based on certain existing thinking, belief, values, practice and desire in the mind conditioning and influencing the intellectual reasoning power to reason, analyze, understand, compare and judge everything in certain way, that give rise to likes and dislikes, agreements and disagreements, desire and don't desire.

There's desire of craving and aversion towards the selfless impermanent names and forms of conditions, situations, ties and connections, relationships, interactions, experiences, sights, sounds, smells, tastes, sensations, feelings, emotions, thoughts, memories and imaginations, that are pleasant or unpleasant, agreeable or disagreeable, desirable and undesirable to the mind.

There's expectation/anticipation/desire/intention/longing or the urge to control towards all and everything to be or not to be in certain way, according to one's desire of craving and aversion.

Egoism give rise to possessiveness, separateness, discrimination, individual and group identity(s), the sense of belonging, origin, self-esteem, self-worth, superiority and inferiority, goodness and badness, righteousness and wrongfulness, positiveness and negativeness, meaningfulness and meaninglessness, success and failure, accomplishment and non-accomplishment, pride, shame, animosity, hostility, offensiveness, defensiveness, jealousy, admiration, attraction, repulsion, disappointment, hurt, frustration, irritation, anger, hatred, resentment, vengeance, dissatisfaction, discontentment, greed, guilt, regret, grief, sorrow, fear and worry, and so on.

And hence, the mind is in a state of unrest, disharmony, violence, disturbance or suffering, unwittingly swaying restlessly between satisfaction and dissatisfaction, happiness and unhappiness, joyfulness and painful sorrow, and so on. If without awareness, non-attachment, non-identification and self-control, the disturbed suffering states of the mind is being projected or reflected externally through the organs of action and speech, of random behaviors, actions and reactions.

Egoism derived from ignorance and feeds ignorance. Impurities derived from ignorance and egoism, and feed ignorance and egoism. Restlessness derived from ignorance, egoism and impurities, and feed ignorance, egoism and impurities. Suffering derived from ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness, and feed ignorance, egoism, impurities and restlessness. The good news is that, all these names and forms are limited and conditional, it's changeable and impermanent, and it can be eradicated, if there's a will and determination. To end this loop that keeps feeding one another, is to remove the veil of ignorance. To remove the veil of ignorance, is to stop feeding the ignorance. To stop feeding the ignorance, is to weaken or thin out and eventually eradicate restlessness, impurities and egoism, or the idea of 'I'.

How to deal with the ignorance in the world and not to be determined or disturbed by it?

Ignorance in the world is like a thick concrete wall. It is just being what it is, and it's everywhere. One can only try to be aware of the presence of the thick concrete walls in the surrounding, and avoid running into any of the thick concrete walls to avoid unnecessary painful injury or damage in oneself. One cannot blame the thick concrete wall, if oneself is suffering from certain painful injury or damage deriving from oneself either carelessly, or accidentally, or deliberately run into one of the thick concrete walls, as the concrete wall is just being there, and being what it is.

Even if a thick concrete wall is somehow falling down towards the direction of oneself, and one can try one's best to move away as fast as possible to avoid from being crushed by that, but if somehow, one couldn't manage to move away fast enough, and be hurt by the fallen thick concrete wall, one couldn't blame the thick concrete wall for inflicting the painful injury or damage onto oneself. And if, one is being angry with the thick concrete wall, and starting to be arguing with, shouting, kicking and punching at the thick concrete wall, it will only be generating further painful injury or damage to oneself, and it doesn't change the thick concrete wall being what it is.

The entire world is full of such thick concrete walls everywhere. It's not even about moving all the thick concrete walls out of this space, as it would be easier and less effort to move oneself out of the space full of concrete walls, but then no matter where one goes in this world of ignorance, there are always thick concrete walls everywhere. And hence, one can just be aware of not running into any thick concrete walls that are there being what they are, and avoid being crushed by the falling thick concrete walls.

The thick concrete walls are not aware of themselves being what they are, or most minds are not aware of the damaging ignorance in themselves.

The difference between the thick concrete walls and the minds is that, anyone also can transform the concrete walls into something else, into something useful, but the minds need to be self-aware and self-initiated to transform themselves, while the damaging effects into the surrounding deriving from the minds under the influence of ignorance are much greater than the damaging effects deriving from the thick concrete walls being what they are.

What is self-inquiry?

Under an open mind, without blind-believing, blind-following, blind-agreeing/disagreeing, blind-practicing, blind-propagating towards all the existing thinking, belief, values and practice in the mind, and all kinds of names and forms that the mind comes in contact with, as well as all the teachings and practice of yoga and/or buddhism, without being conditioned or limited by any particular belief, teachings, philosophies, values and practice, to be inquiring towards the truth of everything, of selflessness and impermanence, as well as towards the selfless restless impermanent limited and conditional function and modification of the selfless mind, or what is the 'I' that the selfless mind thinks, believes and identifies as a permanent and independent individual self existence or self identity, and attained direct realization towards the truth of everything, towards selflessness and impermanence, under a dispassionate, desireless, disciplined, purified and quiet mind.

Inquire towards public social media platforms

Some people might think and believe that they are still having certain degrees of freedom of expression being in certain areas in the world by being able to be expressing or sharing their ideas via certain public social media platforms, not knowing that all the public social media platforms are under the total control of the world of business, religions and politics.

Even when one is able to express certain ideas via certain social media platforms, but, who would be able to see or come in contact with such ideas, are all under the control of the world of business, religions and politics, in order to achieve their respective ambitious vision and aspiration.

Certain ideas that are beneficial for all humanity are being censored in certain or many countries.

Certain ideas that are promoting selfishness, possessiveness, separateness, petite mindedness and greed are being promoted widely in many countries.

Just because some people or some organizations have the money and/or the influence power to do so.

Even if somebody have the money to pay certain social media platforms for promoting certain 'ideas', 'products' or 'services' in certain areas, it's still up to those who either can pay higher fees or who have the higher influence power to be controlling everything on all kinds of public social media platforms, either by promoting what they want the people to see and know, or censoring what they don't want the people to see and know. That's everyone's freedom. Let them be.

People will only come in contact with what certain people want them to see or know, and people won't be able to come in contact with what certain people don't want them to see or know. That's why it's so important for the observation of dispassion, renunciation, seclusion, solitude, self-reliance, self-inquiry and self-realization, not to be relying on the public social medias, or hearing from anybody, or reading books for all kinds of information, not even from this mind.

In the past, before the existence of higher technology and creativity that give rise to the world of internet and so many different public social media platforms that mainly to be stimulating the passionate egoistic desires, and conditioning the minds to think, believe, behave and desire in certain way that would be profiting certain people in the world of business, religions and politics, where the Gurus in the past advised the practitioners or the truth seekers, to stay away from newspaper reading, magazine reading, book reading, TV and movie watching, theater or cinema visiting, and social interactions and activities, as there are very little truthfulness or wholesomeness in all these public medias that were mainly being used by certain people to achieve their selfish greedy desire and agenda by promoting certain passionate egoistic ideas, thinking, belief, values, practice and desire in the people's mind, that would favor them in return.

Such advice for the practitioners or the truth seekers to be observing such restrictions can help to quiet the restless modifications of the mind, and to purify the mind by eradicating ignorance and egoism and all kinds of passionate greedy and ambitious worldly desire and aspiration from the mind, not to be conditioned and empowered by such passionate egoistic ideas, thinking, belief, values, practice and desire, to allow the mind to see the truth of names and forms as it is.

All kinds of public social medias platforms via the internet nowadays are way more powerful than all those public medias in the past.

And if these Gurus are still existing in this time being, they would probably also advise the practitioners or the truth seekers to stay away from all these public social media platforms as well. The essential practice of dispassion and renunciation of seclusion, solitude, self-reliance, self-independence, self-inquiry and self-realization is even more relevant in this time being.

Even the existence of this blog, is limited and conditional. If it reaches the mind that needs it, that's good. If it doesn't, that's okay too. All is impermanent. Even this, is passing away. When this body and mind passed away, this blog will also be vanished from this world. Be happy.

Want to learn and practice yoga? (10)

All minds under different degrees of ignorance and egoism will take their own pace depending on their effort, discipline, understanding, determination, perseverance, condition and situation to learn, practice, inquire, understand and realize what is going on in their own mind.

There's nothing to be comparing and judged about among the different minds on the different paths of yoga.

All the different types of yoga paths and lineages under different names and forms, with different ways of styles, approaches and practices, to suit different minds of different temperaments and degrees of understanding, are all about Self-realization, the annihilation of ignorance and egoism. If it doesn't lead towards the elimination of ignorance and egoism, then it's just some physical and mental health and fitness activities, just like many other physical and mental health and fitness activities in the world, still benefiting the body and the thinking mind to certain extend.

Most minds begin their journey of Self-realization under an impure egoistic modification of the mind, being conditioned by worldly passionate egoistic thinking, belief, values and practice, to behave, act and react, to analyze, compare and judge. Somewhere along the path or lineage, somehow, some minds that weren't/aren't pure might behave, act and react under the influence of ignorance and egoism and impurities, and hence, there might be some 'mischievousness' occurred/occur in the different yoga lineage/school/ashram/organization.

Minds that have certain degrees of understanding, will not be disturbed, affected or determined by the different types of 'mischievousness' that existed/exist in certain yoga lineage/school/ashram/organization, either experiencing by oneself or some others, and move on in one's journey towards Self-realization, knowing that the corruptions or mischievousness of the impure minds are deriving from the ignorance and impurities in the minds, and are nothing to do with the teachings and practice of yoga.

While the minds that don't have such understanding would be disturbed, affected and determined by such disagreeable/unpleasant experiences, thinking and believing that the 'mischievousness' of certain minds within the yoga lineage/school/ashram/organization are due to there's something 'imperfect'/'wrong'/'bad' about the teachings and practices of yoga, and hence, they condemned/condemn the teachings/practices/lineage/school/ashram/organization, and generated/generate aversion or resentment towards the path of yoga. That's their freedom of thinking, understanding, action and reaction.

That's why the development of self-reliance, mental and emotional independence, and the practice of openness, non blind-following, non blind-believing, non blind-practicing, non blind-propagating, self-inquiry, renunciation, dispassion, seclusion and solitude are very important, even in the beginning of the yoga practice, along with the practice of non-attachment, non-identification, non-judgment, non-comparison, non-craving, non-aversion and non-expectation.

There are many different kinds of 'distractions' and 'obstacles' on the path of Self-realization.

The yoga practitioners need to be aware of certain worldly habits of unintentional or intentional random chit-chatting while socializing and interacting with some others, either being aspired to care for others and vice versa, or with the intention of building personal connection or friendship, want to know about others and be known by others, by talking about oneself, one's origin/background/knowledge/identities/attachments/expectations, one's desires and don't desire, one's agreements and disagreements, one's satisfaction/achievement and dissatisfaction/non-achievement/disappointment, talking about other people this and that, wandering into the past pleasant/unpleasant memories and the future desirable/undesirable anticipations, talking about 'I', 'My', 'You', 'He', 'She', 'They', 'This and that', where the conversation is all about the justification and empowerment of a personal and community identity, judging, comparing, admiring, envying, complaining, bitching, back-biting, glorifying, slandering, boasting, desiring, aspiring, inspiring, anticipating, speculating, scheming, plotting, feelings, emotions, ideas, beliefs and values, or else, there's nothing to be talking about other than saying "Hello", "Good morning/evening", "How are you", "Goodbye", which is 'inappropriate', 'awkward', 'cold', 'inhuman' or 'uncaring' for certain social cultural practices. Some yoga practitioners and/or yoga teachers might not be aware of they might be engaging in such physical/mental/verbal activities most of the time when they meet up, gather, socialize and interact with some others.

Unless the mind is already be free from ignorance and egoism, where there's no attachment, identification or expectation towards all kinds of names and forms in the conversations, one can be talking about this and that without being determined, affected, influenced or disturbed by any conversations about anything, however, how many minds are void of passionate egoism?

Talk less. Talk only when necessary. Talk only Dharma, that leads the mind towards reflection upon itself, if this mind really wants to be free from ignorance and all kinds of disturbs, as well as wants to help other minds to be free from ignorance and all kinds of disturbs.

Those who are not interested in practicing yoga, it's their freedom for what they think, behave, act and react, desire and don't desire, or what they want to do or don't do.

Many passionate minds, including some long time yoga practitioners/yoga teachers as well as mental health practitioners might disagree with this, as the minds are being conditioned deeply in worldly egoistic way of thinking, belief, values and practice, where talking and listening among one another, being mentally and emotionally dependent on one another, is a form of 'caring', 'sharing', 'loving kindness', 'meaningfulness', 'empathy', or 'healing'.

Talking and listening to be sharing, is the 'healthy' common values and practice for many kind and caring people that put upmost importance onto 'family/friends/community mental and emotional support and dependence', where they never thought of the importance of developing mental and emotional independence in oneself and in all and everyone, where mental and emotional independence is being recognized as 'selfishness', 'unhealthy', 'lovelessness', 'closed mind', 'harshness', 'bad', 'wrong', or 'insanity'. There's nothing wrong, as it gives momentary relief to most minds, and helps to prevent certain self-harm/harm others incidents, as many minds are never being trained to find out what is going on in the mind, and hence are not capable to look into the mind to see what is going on in one's mind. Instead of curing and preventing 'the mental disturbance/pain/problem/illness' from the root, it's still good to provide some emergency momentary relief by 'talking' and 'sharing' among one another.

While in the yoga practice, is about self-inquiry looking into one's mind, alone in solitude by oneself, curbing the 'urge'/'need'/'desire' to look out for answers, comfort, love, support, sympathy, empathy, encouragement, and so on, to see what is really happening in the mind whenever there are names and forms arising and passing away, when there are pleasant/unpleasant thoughts, actions/reactions, craving, aversion, ideas, feelings, emotions, memories, anticipations, goodness, badness, rightfulness, wrongfulness, satisfaction, dissatisfaction, agreements, disagreements, unrest, hurts, sorrow, anger, hatred, love, sympathy, guilt, shame, pride, loneliness, fear, worry, and so on, where the mind thinks and believes that there is a 'need' for the presence of some others, or 'specific individuals that one is attracted to and admires', to be talking, sharing, listening, interacting, acknowledging, affirming, accepting, understanding, agreeing, attracting, loving, caring, supporting, encouraging, comforting, giving and receiving, among each other. Where the mind feels good, positive and meaningful when all these are available, and the mind feels bad, negative and meaningless when all these are not available.

This teaching and practice is neither good nor bad, but it might not be suitable for certain minds (yet) that haven't develop certain degrees of independence, openness, awareness, dispassion and renunciation, and still have intense mental and emotional dependence on some others, even though they might have been 'practicing yoga' and/or 'teaching yoga' for many years. But, it would lead the mind towards unconditional peace, being free from being determined by the selfless impermanent modification of the mind.

Inquire towards the truth of everything, especially what is going on in the mind, to know Thyself. No other can liberate oneself from ignorance and suffering, but through the mind's self-effort, self-discipline, self-inquiry and self-realization, to know Thyself.

When the mind is void of ignorance and egoism, is in peace unconditionally, is void of disturbs or impurities, who is there that needs to be sharing, listening, interacting, acknowledging, affirming, accepting, understanding, agreeing, attracting, loving, caring, supporting, encouraging, comforting, giving and receiving, to and from some others, to feel good, positive and meaningful, to not hurt oneself and/or others?

Why many minds need to be sharing, listening, interacting, acknowledging, affirming, accepting, understanding, agreeing, attracting, loving, caring, supporting, encouraging, comforting, giving and receiving, to and from some others, to feel good, positive and meaningful, to not hurt oneself and/or others? Because the minds are disturbed and in suffering, is under the influence of impurities and not at peace, due to the veil of ignorance and egoism. The 'problem' is not because of lacking some others being there to be talking and sharing about this and that all the time, but it's ignorance and egoism in the mind.

Teach and guide the minds to be free from ignorance and egoism, is teaching yoga, is compassion, even if it might not necessarily be pleasant or enjoyable.

Learn and practice how to free the mind from ignorance and egoism, is practicing yoga, is compassion, even if it might not necessarily be pleasant or enjoyable.

All experiences in this impermanent worldly life existence, regardless of pleasant or unpleasant, agreeable or disagreeable, desirable or undesirable, joyful or sorrowful, enjoyable or non-enjoyable, meaningful or meaningless, right or wrong, good or bad, are just 'great' opportunities for the mind to reflect, inquire and realize the truth of selflessness and impermanence, to be able to let go and unattached.

The yoga teacher doesn't need to ask, talk, listen, know or share about 'what are the personal problems/disturbs' in the different minds, as all kinds of 'problems/'disturbs' are all due to ignorance and egoism in one's mind, where the yoga teacher just needs to guide the minds to look into their own minds, to know what is going on in the mind, to let go attachment, identification, desire of craving and aversion, judgment, comparison and expectation, letting go what the mind thinks and believes is their 'problems'/'disturbs', to free their own mind from ignorance and egoism, and realize unconditional peace. That is compassion, however, the passionate minds might not know or agree with this.

It's common and normal that the minds that have some sorts of doubts/disturbs/troubles/hurts/painful sorrow, which ignited their interest to be joining yoga retreats or yoga classes, expecting to be talking and sharing to the yoga teacher about their 'problems', as well as expecting the yoga teacher to be asking and listening towards their 'problems', while hoping to be receiving some sorts of 'comforting' and 'agreeable' response from the teachers, thinking that the yoga teacher should be giving them 'the desirable/agreeable answers/healing to all their doubts/disturbs/troubles/hurts/painful sorrow, and take away all their 'problems'. This might be practicing in many yoga retreats or yoga classes in the world, as well as outside of the retreats and classes, in social/community meet ups, where many 'yoga teachers' emphasized about 'connecting', 'sharing', 'talking', 'listening', 'hugging', 'touching', or 'healing'. However, these minds would be very disappointed, when the yoga teacher didn't ask them anything about what is 'troubling'/'hurting' them, or not showing any interests in 'listening' and 'sharing' their 'problems'. They thought that the teacher is unfriendly, cold, uncaring, unsympathetic and absurd, or is lack of empathy, compassion or professionalism, and hence, they criticized the teacher as 'bad' yoga teacher. What they didn't know is that this kind of yoga teachers, are the real yoga teachers that can teach and guide them towards unconditional peace, void of all kinds of mental or emotional suffering. But, many passionate minds don't like or agree with this. And that's their freedom of thinking, action/reaction and choice.

The yoga teacher doesn't even need to be deliberately doing/saying anything that would be offensive towards the minds, but merely didn't deliberately give the minds what they would like to see or hear, or what they expect to be experiencing, and hence, the minds react and feel offended and disappointed by the yoga teacher who is truly wise and compassionate. But, that's the point. The minds are being given the great opportunity to look into their own minds, to see those ceaseless egoistic actions/reactions under the influence of ignorance. Some minds would start to be aware of the modification of the mind, which is a good start or uplift for their yoga practice. While some minds would still be unable to look into their own mind, and generate dislike and disagreement towards the teacher for not being the way that they think how it should be, or not giving them what they expect to be receiving/experiencing, the way that they desire. That's their freedom of action and reaction.

Either the mind will see what is going on in itself, or not, and be thankful and appreciative, or be offended and unappreciative, it really doesn't matter, the teacher is just delivering the teachings, and it's up to the minds themselves to practice and realize, or not.

Online yoga class?

"Do you offer any 'online yoga class'?"

What other yoga teachers do and don't do is their freedom. What yoga practitioners/enthusiasts desire and don't desire is their freedom. There's neither right nor wrong.

I don't have any interest or intention to run or teach 'yoga classes', not to say to organize 'online yoga class'.

There were/are different type of people with different temperament/understanding and state of the mind, who want to learn yoga from us by participating in a compact yoga course in the form of yoga retreat over a few days to a few weeks. The yoga retreats emphasize on guiding and allowing the yoga practitioners/students to develop correct understanding, dispassion, right discrimination, self-inquiry, self-control, self-discipline and self-independence to be able to perform mental/physical self-practice internally/externally wherever they are without the need of attending 'yoga classes', by performing the different practices that serve the purpose of purifying and quieting the impure outgoing egoistic mind, to work on eliminating the ego and egoism diligently and independently, to be opened and turning the mind inward to investigate/inquire into the truth of everything, allowing the mind to see/realize the truth of names and forms as it is, to know what is going on in the restless self-cognitive thinking mind or knowing Thyself, be free from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance.

How everyone reacts towards the teachings and the different practices, or whether the students would be interested in developing the correct understanding, dispassion, right discrimination, self-inquiry, self-control, self-discipline and self-independence, or not, and whether they developed the correct understanding, dispassion, right discrimination, self-inquiry, self-control, self-discipline and self-independence, or not, it's their own freedom, effort and responsibility. Everyone has their own pace treading the path of yoga.

Many of those who 'expect' the 'yoga retreat' or the 'yoga practice' to be the way that they desire it to be, that gives them what they think they should be getting/enjoying from 'joining yoga retreat and performing yoga practice' the way that they like and want, that gives them pleasurable sensual enjoyments, that gratifies their desire of craving and aversion, that makes them feel pampered and loved, wouldn't appreciate and would reject this kind of 'yoga retreat' or 'yoga practice', and they would complain and criticize this kind of 'yoga retreat' or 'yoga practice' that they don't like, don't agree with and don't want. And that's their freedom.

Those who allowed their mind to be opened to inquire the truth of everything, while being self-initiated to perform yoga practice practically in everyday life to work on eliminating the ego and egoism diligently and independently, to free the mind from ignorance and the consequences of ignorance, who understand/realize the importance of dispassion, renunciation, seclusion, solitude and silence, would appreciate this type of 'yoga retreat' and 'yoga practice'. They would have the basic understanding, dispassion, right discrimination, self-inquiry, self-control and self-discipline to be performing the internal/external practice accordingly. They don't need to attend 'yoga classes', not to say 'online yoga classes' to be following some verbal/visual instructions/motivations to be motivated to perform some yoga practice or exercises, in order to stay calm/positive and healthy by keeping the body and mind busy engaging/occupying with some 'healthy positive mental/physical activity', to get rid of negativity, anxiety, boredom, or the sense of loneliness/meaninglessness due to the present global epidemic situation and prolonged social/physical distancing/isolation.

The existence of 'yoga classes', and particularly 'online yoga classes' in this present situation are very good for those who don't have the basic understanding, dispassion, right discrimination, self-control, self-discipline and self-independence, who need to receive motivations/encouragements/guidance to be doing some healthy physical activity, to keep occupying the mind with healthy mental/physical activity, particularly in this present global epidemic situation, where people are being isolated/refrained from their everyday habitual social/mental/physical/emotional activity and interaction. Sort of like experiencing the unpleasant withdrawal symptoms of breaking away from certain mental/physical/emotional/relationship addiction/attachment/craving/desire, which is something very common that happens to many people who attend silent meditation retreats.

There's nothing wrong with many yoga practitioners/enthusiasts who can't or reluctant to perform self-practice independently, as they don't have the basic understanding, dispassion, right discrimination, self-control, self-discipline and self-independence, and they don't have the knowledge and confidence to perform the yoga practice by themselves, even after have been attending regular 'yoga classes' for many months/years, that mostly emphasize on social/mental/emotional/physical 'connection', 'sharing', 'companionship', 'encouragement/motivation' and 'interaction' among the community of the yoga teachers and the fellow yoga students while attending yoga classes/yoga retreats. That's their freedom of thinking, belief, desire, action and reaction.

Those who know this, and/or who have been practicing yoga of renunciation, dispassion, solitude, seclusion and silence as it is, will not have any issue dealing with this global epidemic situation that requires efficient prolonged social/physical isolation/distancing for weeks/months or even years. They are free from boredom, anxiety, fear, worry, loneliness, or meaninglessness.

The sincere yoga practitioners can make use of this time being, or this great opportunity from this global epidemic situation to be starting practicing silence.

Those who aren't interested in the yoga practice of disciplining and quieting the mind, don't have to practice silence. They can continue to entertain the mind to keep the mind busy mingling and interacting with one another through all kinds of social media. It's everyone's freedom what they desire and don't desire.
