All the yoga practice should be leading the mind towards unconditional peace, where the mind is at peace, being unaffected or undetermined by all actions and inaction, being able to remain equanimous, calmed and relaxed or stress-free under any condition or situation.
If one can only be relaxed or find peace through certain actions or inaction, or being in a particular desirable condition and situation, or being away from certain undesirable conditions or situations, one isn't really practicing yoga at all, even though one is engaging in certain 'yoga' practice or activities.
When one is practicing yoga, one is able to forbear, adjust, adapt and accommodate any condition and situation, and be relaxed and stress-free, wherever one is and whatever one is doing or not doing.
Peace is in the present moment, when the mind is undisturbed or undetermined by all the perceptions of names and forms, and the actions and inaction of oneself and others.
Learn how to go beyond all the names and forms, actions and inaction, is the yoga practice, and the outcome of being able to go beyond all the names and forms, actions and inaction, is unconditional peace, or yoga. What hinders the mind from going beyond all the names and forms, actions and inaction, and the mind is in a state of restlessness being disturbed and determined by the perception of names and forms, actions and inaction of oneself and others, repeatedly or continuously, is ignorance and egoism.
The mind that practices yoga is aware of what is going on in the mind, without attachment or identification towards all the thoughts activities, and if there's attachment towards certain names and forms that leads to mental and emotional tension and disturbance, there is awareness being aware of the existence of disturbance due to attachment, but knowing that this is impermanent and very soon, this will also pass away. There's no judgment or criticism. There's no attachment or identification towards all states of the mind, being aware of even the state of calmness influenced by different elements or determined by the quality of names and forms is also impermanent. Whether there's a thinking and recognition or judgment about the mind is good or not good, being happy or unhappy, there is awareness being aware of it's just an impermanent state of the mind. This will lead to the realization of unconditional peace beyond all the impermanent states of the mind.
Be free.
